I think that's not gonna happen, Because the market is under way like this. When 1 ETH is worth $1000 in 2018. Market situation at the time was very good.

It should be true consider the fundamental of the market is not even show a good sign for bitcoin. Ethereum might get less than $200 as ATH caused by the next hardfork and block decrease but that gives a lot of reason why most of the people must try to buy that.

1000 dollars per ETH would be awesome to see again, but in reality, I see Ethereum rising to somewhere near 200 USD mark. To hit the thousand dollar price once again, we would have to have some serious buying pressure. Sadly, right now, we don't.

I am also inclined to what would then just see what happens with Ethereum, as long as there's a lot of assumptions, but I'm still inclined to think that the price will drop to 120-130 dollars.

It would not surprise me if ether drops under $100 after hardfork. $1000 doesn't look realistic with current market situation and frankly ethereum price is closely related to ICO's and investors, lack of good projects, investors lose interest to invest, this does not sound ethereum will return to old all time high any time soon. Should not this thread be in speculation?

Well i think you are right if bitcoin will rise in price so then ETH will rise. People are being excited after reading this post but It will surely take time as in market til now I had no good such news but I am waiting for that day. Let’s see what happens but as much as I know soon market will annoyance good news about ETH and BTC both😊.

I think you're telling the truth , I think now the price after the fork will fall to the level of 100 , but if you look at the chart in the future, the price can again come to 1000

Ethereum could reach $1000 again but i dont think in near time. With current market condition and market cap value, i think its good for ethereum if the price reach $250 first. When whole market cap value increasing, i think ethereum could reach highest price again

For those who bought ETH at 100$, they are now selling all their ETH to get a profit. Everyone's psychology now won't hold for too long, so my opinion is hard for ETH to go up to 1000$. Or will need to wait 4-5 years for it to be feasible

I think it's not that easy, for etherum to rise to 1000USD right after hardfork, it still need time and process for that think to happen. Let just hope with the hardfork can open a way for ethereum to be easily rise to that point

lel . first of all etherium didnt ever reach 1k usd ( if im not mistaken )  but im aware that eth value got pump last 2 years ago ( year 2017 to be exact )  . however etherium can possibly pumped again during its hardfork because many people will buy eth in the hopes that they can recieve alot of eth forked coins  .

yes eth wont rise after the hardfork because people will surely sold thier coins as soon as ther see that the valeu is startig to rise again   .    the rise can only occur before and during the fork duration but itll probably collapse after it  .

isn't that too much value high at this time. hardfork be predicted will give good results but if possible to $1000 or it costs half of the bitcoin it will be quite impossible to prove. might expect great indeed good but don't get too high and more focused on what will happen to hardfork later.
