So, lots of good things happened in Ethereum this year but yet Ethereum price couldn't even hit 400 USD, 1000 USD seems a fairy tale here! This is what we think and what is a reality! Now I have to give up on thinking of high ETH price because of Eth 2.0! Because getting surprised is better than heartbroken!
that doesn't have to be compelling. for ETH to experience an upswing like in the past, there would have to be a new ICO or IEO hype. that set the decisive impulses back then.  Whatsoever nothing will make the changes in the price of altcoins and mainly for ethereum.while investing on IEO and ICO people are forgetting the available altcoins which had great features. Most of the people in the group of field thinking cryptocurrency investment as a finance deal only. They never believe it as firm. |

Most of the people in the group of field thinking cryptocurrency investment as a finance deal only. They never believe it as firm.
I like this thought. I personally have met a lot of people who spend thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars to invest in an ICO project that they hear someone "trusted in my country" recommend. When I asked them why they spend so much money on an ICO project, they just answered that ICOs are a hot trend, so they will invest in any HYPE project even if they know those projects like the Ponzi form. the $500 is the first resistance for thinking about the next attacks of the ETH price.
Do not worry! The Ethereum community is only weaker than the Bitcoin community in the cryptocurrency community in general and Altcoin in particular. In my opinion, at this time, no altcoin can be better than Ethereum when it switches to PoS instead of PoW. Many altcoins had increased their prices when they turned to PoS. For example, Zcoin, ZOI, etc. as I know recently. So, the price of Ethereum may rise again, but time is the most critical factor. |

I dont think the 2.0 will happen this year as I can see on latest updates they still have some important jobs to do before finally launching the 2.0 upgrade if they are successful maybe we can see it next year and I hope eth price will go again in uptrend movement. |

I dont think the 2.0 will happen this year as I can see on latest updates they still have some important jobs to do before finally launching the 2.0 upgrade if they are successful maybe we can see it next year and I hope eth price will go again in uptrend movement. 2.0 was announced to happen in January or I am wrong? Anyways, I hardly doubt that Ethereum 2.0 will solve all the problems and would make ETH to raise in price. Most likely, it would get pumped before the hardfork for several days, but nothing more. |

2.0 was announced to happen in January or I am wrong? Anyways, I hardly doubt that Ethereum 2.0 will solve all the problems and would make ETH to raise in price. Most likely, it would get pumped before the hardfork for several days, but nothing more.
The announcement is made a long time back and i am not even sure whether they will release on time, you are absolutely correct, Ethereum 2.0 will not solve anything and after a few years they will come up with more chains of version and it will be a pump and dump coin and will be used to speculate and i highly doubt we will have any meaningful project using the ETH platform in the future. |

Unfortunately, this didn't happened. We are all frustrated on the current status of Ethereum right now. I agree that it is the strongest coin next to bitcoin but having bitcoin in a crisis right now greatly affects the value of ethereum. There's still time actually, a bull run is expected for bitcoin so that means a bull run can also be expected in Ethereum so let us just hold our hopes for it and sooner or later, it will surely reach that 1000$ we've all been waiting for. |

Unfortunately, this didn't happened. We are all frustrated on the current status of Ethereum right now. I agree that it is the strongest coin next to bitcoin but having bitcoin in a crisis right now greatly affects the value of ethereum. There's still time actually, a bull run is expected for bitcoin so that means a bull run can also be expected in Ethereum so let us just hold our hopes for it and sooner or later, it will surely reach that 1000$ we've all been waiting for. There won't be $1000 Ethereum anytime soon. Maybe after Bitcoin ATH. One of the reasons for ETH popularity and price growth ware also ICOs in 2017, early 2019. Not sure how many people are using smart contracts which is basically the only feature ETH is special for. |

The market is crashing again and ethereum is going down more than 10% and the day is not over, as much as I like ethereum and what it brings to the market of cryptocurrencies I'm starting to have my doubts that we will ever see ethereum above 1000 and even if we do then I have to wonder what kind of price bitcoin will have at that point in time because it doesn't seem as if ethereum is capable of being as profitable as it was in 2017. |

I also don't believe if ICO/IEO gives eth hype. maybe IEO is currently giving more hype to bnb. but I personally believe that eth can get back on its feet, but not like this year and I hope that next year can pump it. |

It doesn't always have to be this way. There are many cryptocurrencies that have their individual advantages and I think that over time people will start to understand it and choose the ones that will be for them the most convenient. It is possible that ETH 2.0 will be faster, will have cheaper fee and thanks to that its price will separate from the BTC price and start setting its own course. I don't think that $1000 will be achieved in the next few weeks, but in my opinion, it will definitely happen over time. |

Remember the last halving of bitcoin after 2 months bitcoin price went up, and for ethereum it will have a same road just like bitcoin. Ethereum might return to that price again. It's true that after halving the price of BTC and other alts goes up, and not only after the last halving, but after every halving which has been so far. No one is 100% sure that this time it will be the same, but it is most likely. Anyway, if not after halving, I think that by the end of 2020, ETH will return to $1000 |

It is incredible to see that as time passes altcoins are not becoming more independent from the movements of bitcoin, instead what we are seeing is that altcoins are unable to move on their own and rely on bitcoin for their growth and as long as that is the case we are never going to see altcoins going up faster than bitcoin, ethereum is one of the best coins in the market and yet I do not see how it is going to go up to the point that it is going to reach 1000 dollars for each coin even with all the upgrades that the developers are making to the code of ethereum. |

It is the most liquid market and still the first recall when you think about cryptocurrencies. Until the time another coin will take lead, BTC will continue to affect the rest. |

I have a deep faith in Ethereum, this is the altcoin that has brought me a lot of profits this year. Ethereum is the queen of the cryptocurrency market, it is second only to Bitcoin in value, ETH has a professional team. I guess that next year Ethereum will grow strongly. However, I think it will be difficult for ETH to be half of Bitcoin's value. Maybe ETH will need a lot of time and mutation to do that |
