Actually, a 1000 US dollar Ethereum really depends on the whole crypto market sentiment and not just its individual activities and accomplishments. It won't happen unless the interests of many people come back to invest on cryptocurrencies. |

Actually, a 1000 US dollar Ethereum really depends on the whole crypto market sentiment and not just its individual activities and accomplishments. It won't happen unless the interests of many people come back to invest on cryptocurrencies. Many people have predicted about this ethereum, it will go up and reach the best price. but it seems that ethereum has not yet moved to follow what people predicted. I strongly agree that if ethereum can be up to $ 1000, of course everyone hopes and that happened when it was early last year. whether the beginning of next year will also change after the beginning of this year has not changed? very difficult to ascertain and I agree with the other colleague that all are closely related in this crypto and complement each other. |

what is the good news from ETH? i dont find that, as far i know the big news in the near future is Ethereum 2.0 it would happen in 3 jan 2020, beside that, there is no any *big* news and even the new news says that eth prices will be half the price of btc. This is impossible to me, ETH circulating supply is far from BTC so, if ETH price is half from BTC. it means ETH has higher marketcap than BTC |

can not guarantee that eth prices reach $ 1000 right now, eth prices are in a low position. Hardfork hasn't even been able to boost the price of ethereum to the best position, my estimation in 2020 could slightly raise the price of ethereum although it's not certain what percentage of ethereum will increase

It all depends on when exactly that new Ethereum update comes out. If it comes out in the heat of the next bull run, then even over $1,000 is possible. You have to remember that during the last bull run, the price of eth was over $1,000. If it's already at that price whenever the update comes out, then even over $2k is possible. The timing is going to be everything. If it comes out next week, it probably would only pump the price up another $100 or so.

Maybe every alts that have good potentials will grow back once the halving of bitcoin take place. The momentum changer still anticipated and we know that ETH is one of those good project that usually bounce back when bitcoin start to jumped high. There's no clarity but it's up to your good assessment if you will take the advantage of buying while the value still cheap. |

Quite reasonable, if at a time when the market receives too much bloodshed and pressure from bitcoin, the good news from the development team will not be able to affect too many projects on the market but if the market is in a period of need of more detonators to create stimulus, the good news will really create a major earthquake in the market, ETH can go up if following this path. However, no matter what price ETH has reached in the past, we should not think that history can always be repeated, the chances of happening are always relative, not guaranteed |

I don't think this will happen. Of course, everyone is looking forward to the hard fork of Ethereum in December but with the current market situation, it is not easy for a top coin to grow nearly 1000%. All need to be realistic and now it seems they are no longer too concerned about these issues. it is possible that a small number will push the price of ETH up to as high as $ 200 and it will not be higher if bitcoin is stable.

The last time people said ETH was overtaking BTC, the price at the closest it ever came was not even 10% of Bitcoin. And then it could not sustain. Today, it is not even at at 3% of BTC price and it still tries very hard. As you said, the whole market will move together,,, but always always led by BTC. |

The last time people said ETH was overtaking BTC, the price at the closest it ever came was not even 10% of Bitcoin. And then it could not sustain. Today, it is not even at at 3% of BTC price and it still tries very hard. As you said, the whole market will move together,,, but always always led by BTC. Very true however history have seen former number ones being relegated to obscurity and obsolesce. Take for example Netscape, Blockbuster, Kodak, AOL, Yahoo, MySpace. Innovation is your killer. |

if you expect prices to be too high it is indeed unrealistic because in reality the market is not as expected. except btc can pump even higher, maybe when hardfork eth can pump high too. but it's good we look at current conditions before hoping prices can go up with a high percentage |

A lot of advice saying to just wait it out. But in the real world, emotions always run high and depression is real. People always do irrational actions because they are emotional. So, for the holders, you just have to suck it up if you're down 90%. But for the bargain hunters, you just have to wait for the obvious reversal first.
