Are they *really* that trustworthy? Or, is it Tec is gaming the system giving trust-for-trust with anyone that comes along? (or, is it just DT1 the whets his appetite?)
Account gumusi defenitely isn't, as mentioned somewhere in this topic, account abused everything they could, gumusi's alt account Otto_diesel is scam advertiser (yobit investment box, some random ponzi crap, you name it) and user is also evading ban. I have no idea why would TECSHARE add such account to his trust network. Oh, wait, I know

I wonder if Satoshi will ever make a come back to this forum and wonder if we will ever know his/her/their real identity.
I don’t think so you know, that’s a good thing in my opinion. It’s safer for him in RL that way & it’s also better for the community, the air of mystery is better & creates more of a decentralised nature. Looking to one man for advice & ideas on how to do things in the future, scaling etc wouldn’t be good. He’s done his work now, he can sit back & admire what he created.

Exactly. Guidelines to enter techy's trust network: 1) say something against users T doesn't like 2) make sure to use words such as "hypocrisy", "nepotism", "cult" 3) bingo!
This gumusi account is starting to sound like drama queen Vispilio AKA DragonDance. Makes me wonder...

I am scratching my head trying to envisage what you deduced... Could you give us a hint? I wonder if Satoshi will ever make a come back to this forum and wonder if we will ever know his/her/their real identity.
Some odd folks like me have a VERY good idea whom it could be by means of the powers of deduction. But... I'm content with that personally.

In satoshi case I would changed the red "Banned" to the green "Locked", it seems to be not a hard work to do that. "Banned" sounds wild, "Locked" would be understandable for community while "green" color would manifest it can be unlocked any time when satoshi comes back, IMO.
Similar to the old scammer tag, perhaps a user's profile can be changed to this: Image sourced from https://forums.collectors.com/profile/Pearlsbefore

..."Banned" sounds wild, "Locked" would be understandable for community...
I agree fully with this statement. If there will be "LOCKED" displayed by the Satoshi account this discussion would have no place because everybody understands the reasons behind the locking of this account. "BANNED" brings immediate confusion and questions. TBH if I would spot this then for sure I would also try to find the answer about such a decision and that is why I am reading this thread. We will definitely see many more threads on this topic if the Satoshi account remains "banned", each newbie will start a similar thread because the topic is interesting enough to be seen as a clickbait.

If I can make a small suggestion? Perhaps instead of you displaying the merit scores in red perhaps another strong colour such as purple? Red is being used to signify distrust, or scamming or banned or any number of other things. Thanks for reading. @ibminer @suchmoon

If satoshi wants to come back, all it takes is a signed message to theymos and he can regain access. @ satoshi: all it takes is one new post, and I'll send you 50 Merit Is this the process for every account that is blocked or it is just for satochi's only? Just asking to know.

I like this rotating in and out between DT1 and DT2. It keeps things fresh, adds differing perspectives and allows a wider range of users to be involved.

It depends. Satoshi's case is unique, the account was just voluntarily locked by admin. If your account is locked or stolen. You have to prove that you are the owner of the account by signing a message from a staked address and sending a message to the accounts recoveries time. If it banned or permanently banned, you can try appealing the banned but chances are so low that it will be unbanned

In the Russian locale this month chose a record low number of DT1:
At least one (Balthazar) dropped out due to inactivity.

Well, this is not uncommon in the locale, we often have such inactive users, but in their place other users were chosen and the figure is always more or less the same held 14-15 users.
Perhaps users from other regions are qualifying for DT nowadays and so this is proof that the "random" factor in selecting DT really is occurring.

Hello friends. In 2017. i got red flag from zeppher, but i never ever sold my account it was all big joke and they removed that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3197458.0I learned so many people about blockchain tech, mainly countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. Later on, my community stepped in And @suchmoon and @DdmrDdmr saw it, and they removed my red flag, thank you! But i still have "orange" flag? how can i remove that

There are good reasons why this is not possible... In general, it is strange that you are legendary, and that you have not seen this topic. It is also quite unusual to see such excessive generosity... Considering that the average time between publications is 6 minutes.
