There is a lot chance for CSK if it scores more than 160 plus by batting up first as KKR has strong bowlers. Today CSK was well-prepared for this final even lost of toss never give them any trouble their openers start with good confidence specially Du Plessis man with really class stay on pitch until end this was big win for their target. They were aware about 200 or near this target is well fight, so this achieved after this their bowlers was also good because in start KKR openers was also done good job both reach their fifties but after fall of first wicket they never reach near the target and all batting line up collapse very badly sadly most important batsmen never reach in double figure and give 4th title to CSK very easily.

After IPL, I guess most bettors here will start looking forward for T20I world cup. I guess world cup matches are more easier to bet with, as we could easily predict winners unlike IPL matches as almost all teams are equally balanced and looks stronger (but this year SRH was an exception).

It is intended to make teams having equal strength, but if it is removed then the player salaries may increase and we may witness more money invested in to cricket. Why should there be a cap of player salaries, when there are no such caps on other professions. There is a minimum wage, but I haven't heard about a maximum wage limit. In international matches, the games are played between teams of unequal strength and therefore they are easier to predict.

I think that in every IPL, there is auction for the players. So others teams can bid higher for player of Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. I think this is how it works ?
Although other franchises have to spend huge money, but their chances to go in and win the final will increase.

I already posted about the salary cap. So it is not possible for the other franchises to spend unlimited amounts of money. On top of that, each franchise can retain up to four players. For CSK in the next season, these four are going to be - Dhoni, Gaikwad, Chahar and du Plessis (my best guess). The teams that are already weak (such as Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals) have only limited options available with them. They can bid for only players who are not retained by the other franchises, and those who come within their salary range.

I don't think Kolkata will win by batting for 193 runs. Though the Kolkata bowlers performed brilliantly throughout the season, the bowlers' performance in the matches against Chennai was very poor. Chennai scored 220 in the first match against Kolkata. Batting for 172 in the second match, Chennai won and set a huge target of 193 in the final. Kolkata lost the match due to their own mistake. They have not learned from the past matches against Chennai. The same mistake they made in every match.

On the other hand, Scotland has been in very good form lately and there is a possibility of an upset. However, two teams from each group will progress to the next stage and therefore Bangladesh just need to win two out of their 3 group matches (most probably they will win all three). However, things may not be very easy for the other two test teams - Sri Lanka and Ireland. 

My pick is SL, Bangla and Ireland will make it to the WCT20I. While there will be one team from Oman and Scotland to play the WC. Interestingly most of Omani players are from India and Pakistan. Seems like locals in Oman have zero interest in cricket. This wont be good for Oman cricket in the long run. since this will not help in building a domestic setup.

T20 nature is very unpredictable, sometime we are unable to predict about results even having all matches and analysis of them because on his day any team can surprise and just 1 or 2 balls can change all momentum. Just because of this now we have very good future of this format and other 2 formats are going to be died in near future specially ODI is on ventilator test can take sometime because we have some fans from Australia and England still love this format, but their love could be ended soon with the popularity and marketing of this short format.

As BCCI is working on their own league, hopefully we will have some big countries in this also, and then we will be able to have all year this game around the globe

My expectation is that Oman is going to get some points easily. But I am thinking about the Bangladesh vs Scotland match. I will bet for the victory of Bangladesh. But I can't call the Scotland team bad. Moreover, I saw in a news that the coach of Scotland is considering the Bangladesh team as an average-level team. And he wants to defeat Bangladesh easily. For this match prediction is very easy and clearly India is free money because currently Pakistan's form is not good, and they are not able to compete with India here in this event their players surely going under pressure, and they will be not able to perform better. I have seen performances in a few matches in Oman. I would not say they are a good team, but they are a stronger team than Papua New Guinea. Unless a miracle happens, the Oman team will have an easy win against New Guinea.
On the other hand, the coaches of Scotland are as confident as they are in defeating Bangladesh, if their players are similarly confident then maybe we can see a better performance from Scotland. However, the Bangladesh team has experienced players like Shakib and Mushfiqur and Mustafiz. Winning against them is definitely a challenge for Scotland.
