I would buy the hero pilot/electrical fire scenario if for not the fact that they know the course was deviated 12 min before the signed off with the "alright/goodnight" transmission.  My good friend flies trans pacific flights to Japan all the time.  He said even if there was a fuse pulling event there would have been a distress signal (mayday) sent first.

It is very possible  that they flew low (as reported bye eyewitness accounts) and away from primary radars, to get to a rebel state / nation like Iran.  If that's the case then this is part of a bigger plot and you could reasonably expect that the plane be weaponized for a terror attack some where in the world.  Iran could turn it into a dirty nuke missile.

Otherwise, something went wrong and we will find parts of that plane in a year or two.

Another question I have is that we have a naval base out there on small island with about 5,000 personnel,  called Diego Garcia.  They had to have been able to pick up that plane on their radars, right???

Add it all up and it's is straight out of a Hollywood story line.  I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but something smells fishy.  All we can do is wait and let the investigators do their thing.

Pls stop watching all that anti iranian US war propaganda and get a grip.  The idea that Iran has anything to do with this is ludicrous on so many levels. Iran doesnt need to hijack an airliner to get their hands on one, they already have plenty of airbusses and boeings. Not that they would need an airliner to deliver a weapon, they have quite capable missiles. Iran would have no interest whatsoever in some terrorist attack; Iran if anything, is an important enemy of islamic (almost exclusively Sunni) terrorism. Iran does support groups that the US calls terrorists, but thats because these groups fight against the Israeli occupation and apartheid. Do consider that these same groups, like Hezbollah also fight Al qaeda, in places like Syria, but when Al Qaeda fights a regime the US doesnt like, they just call them rebels or freedom fighters, rather than terrorists or muslim extremists. The nations that actually control, fund and arm these sunni terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda,  are your so called allies Saudi Arabia and Qatar, not Iran.

Getting off topic, so lastly,  why on earth would Iran hijack a plane full of Chinese, when China is one of their few remaining trade partners?

It will be found at the bottom of the sea.

My $.02.

Smiley

Naah I don't think so...
I don't really know where they (if) will find it but I bet it was hijacked.

The U.S has a Navy plane out there, either that, or they're trying to put it out there. They say it can detect almost anything underwater, even the smallest things.

But as soon as you go underwater, it's still going to be hard to see what's down there.

It is sick that things like that can happen...

They haven't found it yet, but they seem to be saying it went down in the Indian ocean: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/mar/24/mh370-chinese-plane-spots-white-objects-live-updates

They were able to  measure the latency and compression of the inmar sat handshakes with the plane to determine more precisely where the plane was when it transmitted its last handshake.  This was either a hijacking gone terribly wrong, or  I would imagine there was an onboard fire which knocked out the electrical systems.   Smoked could have suffocated everyone on board,  thus  you had a zombie plane flying into it ran out of gas.   In any case a horrible tragedy.

It doesn't need to be a fire (because I think if it was the case there would have been a alarm signal launched which was not the case), if the air filtering/ pressurizing system partially fail, pilots due to lack of oxygen could misdjudge everything as the brain does not work properly in this condition and they'll pass out eventually, another possibility is a total electrical faillure but anyway, it will takes months if not more to find the black boxes

True,  need to get those boxes.   Truly a unique scenario.  If the plane was flying at a real low altitude as reported,  maybe the plane sunk largely in tact,  hence no large debris field. That would be good from a recovery stand point.

He destroyed his whole cause when he said Sunnis are terrorist, where as there are more than a billion of sunni muslims and they are not terrorizing anyone. Yes I do understand that Iran is being targeted for geopolitical reasons, and they are not as bad as some propaganda media makes them looks to be but they aren't 100% clean either.

They might never find them. They only give off signals until the battery runs out.

That's possible, however that's exactly what happened with the air france jet incident, and they did eventually find them.  Now with the drone subs that are used for undersea mapping research (the companies have expressed interest in helping out),  ....the chances for finding the wreck and blackbox may be improved.

So I read they found it - but they cannot say for 100% is this right one or not Tongue

...

They have got two weeks to find black boxes, as for two weeks it will send a signal with possition...
