Portugal vs France is the same game as it was in the final of 2016,that time Portugal did win even without Ronaldo but it was a very suffered win as France had a lot of chances.I think today both teams need the win to qualify further as I predict a sure win of Germany against Hungary so it will be interesting to see this game,personally I believe France will win.Spain also I predict a sure win against Slovakia today as it is the only result that would qualify them further.

I remember he got injured during the match, if that's the same one I'm thinking of. But it's quite normal when you have two very good teams, that the goals are scored not because of brilliance but because of mistakes. Not that neither side has a squad that is NOT brilliant. I mean France played such nice games, but scored few goals because the other teams made too few mistakes.

Idk why England is always so bad.
They have the best league, very good players but I can't remember a tournament where did well.

Well i would say they are not that bad so far in this tournament i mean they are in first place in their group which is an achievement already. I agree though, that England is not part of the big favorites for this tournament as other teams like Italy, France are looking way stronger. One reason why the english national team was never really successful could be the conditions in their premier league. They have 20 clubs instead of 18 like f. e. in germany which means they have 4 matches more in one league season. Then they have the EFL cup and the FA cup which so 1 more than the other big leagues and of course they don't have a break during the winter. That's why the English players, most of whom play in the Premier League, are probably already pretty overplayed when a EURO or World Cup starts.

Yes, this is all true. But in the past I think they haven't been great tactically, despite having good players. Southgate has apparently studied other teams and what it takes to win a tournament, and has made the team a lot more disciplined now... as the results suggest in this tournament, 1-0, 0-0, 1-0, no goals conceded.

But of course I expect them to lose in the next round against whoever they play from the France/Germany/Portugal group.

In today's games of group E, I bet on the victories of Spain and Poland. Both of these teams must win if they want to advance. Spain is playing far below their skills so far, but it can certainly beat Slovakia. Sweden and Poland are teams on a similar level, so far the team from Scandinavia has performed better in the tournament and has already been promoted. i think the right bet total goal of match over 1.5

I am not betting on over goals in this group. Sweden is very good at defending and if this was the first game in the group I would predict 0:0 score line. As it stands Poland will have to attack so maybe we will se a goal or two but I am skipping it. My bet here is Sweden 1x @1.55

In other game I am curious to see if Spain will finally start playing but I am expecting another mediocre performance and maybe 1:0 win for them.

Germany have the best chance with Hungary in sure this will win they want to chase points from a fierce match between France vs Portugal. I think Germany can overcome the problem before after losing to France and winning with Portugal with a lot of goals and now Hungary will be easier for Germany to win without the pressure.

Ronaldo will definitely be full of pressure with France this is a very tough match both of them want to win to stay through to the next round, while France has so many best players And Ronaldo only relies on their squad to stay solid.
I doubt Portugal can win with France.

Germany should win today, I don't know if the match will be easy for them, because Hungary in match with French were able not to concede a goal. It will be very difficult for Portugal, that's for sure, but nothing is impossible, good defensive play and one goal can decide the outcome of the match. I suppose that all three teams, except Hungary, will be able to advance to the next round, since the 4 teams that took the third place in the group will also have a chance and further participation in the tournament.

Germany will win the game against Hungary today. All are playing quite well and unexpected gameplay can be noticed but Germany played the last match so well that it seems they found their strategy to win every match.
Portugal will also qualify even after facing difficulty in the recent game but the way they started shows they are capable to find their way up on this Euro.

Germany losing vs Hungary is a weak possibility while Portugal will have tight game vs France. In my opinion, France and Germany will pass directly and Portugal 3rd.

I believe the same, that this will be the final ranking for Group F. Still though Portugal and France as well didn't show the kind of stability that we expect and anything can happen. As for Germany, I don't have the slightest doubt that they will take the win with Hungary and qualify.

Poland will have to fight hard and be focused 200% against Sweden to take the win, it's like a final to them. I don't know if Poland will make it but I believe that at least we will see an entertaining match.

You are very pessimistic. I see it differently. If they were to play against France, they probably wouldn't stand a chance. Against Germany, the chances are 50/50. Germany played well against Portugal, but the team still has many weaknesses. Against Portugal or Hungary (nobody thinks they can make it to the next round, but I wouldn't write them off ), I would see England as the favorite. So it's very much down to which team they're going to get as an opponent.

Today the most exciting game for me will be Portugal against France, in the event of a draw both teams would be through, but I think France will not take it seriously and play for victory and just get it.

In the first half Slovakia vs Spain 0-2, saw no good movement in attack from Slovakia and only half the field, and Spain dominated the game and 6 shots on goal and Slovakia 0.
It looks like in the second half the opportunity to increase the score for Spain will be wide open and Slovakia must change its strategy so that the match becomes exciting to watch if there is an attack from Slovakia.

Morata is not that terrible imo, he's just having a terrible run of form, but at his peak, he's surely one of the best you can have as a centre forward. Moreover it's not as though Spain have luxury of alternatives in the that position, but I sure would have preferred Iago Aspas to Morata right now.

LOL, it happened unexpectedly just a coincidence. If I'm not mistaken, there have been 8 own goals since the group stage started until today. But maybe it will continue to increase because we are still waiting for another match between Germany vs Hungary and Portugal vs France in the group stage. So far Germany and Slovakia is the team with the most own goals in 1 game. It is very funny.

Spain played as expected, had there been no own goal again in the 70+ minute, then my guess was right.

Such a big disappointment for all Poland fans.. a very bad way to exit EURO with only 1 point, last team of the group and behind Slovakia which was defeated by 5 goals vs Spain!! without counting the last goal scored by Sweden at the extra time, Poland couldn't qualify either
