It looked offside on the first watching but there was a leg left from opposition player so all good and finally one VAR call I can endorse 100%.

I was really surprised with Germans scoring 4 goals against usually very solid Portuguese side. Granted 2 of those were own goals but it was achievement anyway. Why couldn't they score one more goal so at least our over 4.5 goals scored promo would be a winning one.

Yeah, I saw several other angles after my initial comment and yes, agree, VAR as it should be. No complaints. I honestly thought Germany would win that special for us. We wait another week as it is.

Germany were pressing very hard and that was very hard for Portugal defense to handle. Two own goals was the result of that. Germany today were totally superb and Portugal's defense were really clueless. Portugal attack was very good today but that wasn't enough for them to win the match.

More of that, please Germany, and this is what I wish more teams would do. Push for direct attacks, stop fiddling around with finding chinks in the armour, just bang on the goddamn doors and get own goals and penalties and corners haha.

Portugal - Germany has been the best match I've ever seen since the tournament started. I enjoyed watching every single minute of it. There were a completely different Germany this time. They were too far away from their poor performance against France. They totally destroyed Portugal 4-2 in this match. It was a well-deserved win for sure.

Right. Portugal defeated Hungary 3-0 with goals they found close to the last minutes. They could not play their own good game against Germany. Still, Cristiano Ronaldo has 1 goal and 1 assist statistics. Especially his assist was great. It was Ronaldo's own talent that turned the position into a goal. History crushed Portugal once more. Germany consistently defeat Portugal easily and can transform Ronaldo to a wounded and disappointed on that pitch. Yes. Ronaldo was really great even though they lost to Germany. He put a really great effort into this game. The group is in a really interesting situation right now. Because every team have a chance for the first two places. I feel like France - Portugal will end in a draw and Germany will defeat Hungary in the last games.

The win for Germany was so vital, but now the group becomes exciting. As far as I know most of the groups' third finishers also advance to the final round right? Isn't it very likely that Germany would advance even if they tie against Hungary? With four points they should be among the few best third finishers who also are supposed to reach the next round. Anyway, if Germany can repeat what they did against Portugal, I don't think Hungary will be able to defend that for 90 minutes. But you never know as nobody expected France either to play 1 - 1 against Hungary.

I also thought that Hungary could play the match against France in their own country, filled with a huge number of Hungarians. You will notice that support at home. Germany will win against Hungary without any problems, I don't know where that 3rd match will be played, but without a home crowd there is no chance for Hungary anyway, at half time 0-0 and the final score 0-2, for example.

A superb performance by Germany yesterday, I really enjoyed that game. Portugal looked better in the 1st games so I bet on them, I thought it will be easy after the Germans gave them that easy opening goal early on.

They have so many options to choose from, players like Werner, Goretzka and Sane coming off the bench make them really dangerous in the late stages of the games.

I'm looking forward to that group's last games, France really made a mess out of the Hungary game so cannot take it easy against Portugal.

Germany's been underestimated too much after the game against France and, in fact, one could never call the Germans out. That's a great team with amazing players, I bet they'll be in the final 4. Portugal now has difficult path going forward and I'm not sure they'll be able to go to the R16.

Francis managed to be held to a draw with Hungary 1-1 this group was really hell, but I believe German will win this group considering the last opponent faced by German was Hungary, which in fact the skill of German players was above the average players Hungary, The result of this match makes Portugal will fight hard against the French giants who are inhabited by the world's best players.

Decision time! Italy has the chance to win the group with a draw against Wales today. I don't think we can expect an exciting game here, since Wales would also secures the second place in the group with that outcome. A 0:0 or 1:1 is pretty likely here in my opinion. For the Swiss, today is all about winning - only with a victory against Turkey can they still have a chance to enter the round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams. It's actually quite funny to see that everyone in each group still has a chance to advance to the next round, since 4 numbers 3 of the 6 groups still go through. This is not exactly a direct comparison. The terms and conditions vary for different countries. I don't know about the details, but I guess the Turkish and Russia coaches are supposed to spend more days with the team when compared to their counterparts in other countries. Also, salary is only one part of the package. And in western nations, a large part is given in the form of various allowances and free services, to lessen the tax bill. But still, the $3 million figure sounds a bit on the higher side, especially considering the recent form of the Turkish side.

Nowadays which team is going to help any other team by conceding a greater number of goals? You're right, although the Turkish team has not yet won any match of the Euro Cup, they have lost the previous two matches. But the players on the Turkish team are good enough. I am from Russia and I know what I'm talking about  The Russian team lost to Belgium 3-0 and beat Finland 1-0, this is an average result and in fact much more successful than Turkey, but taking into account many other factors, I still assess the Russian team as an extension of the country itself, which is corrupt from top to bottom.
