I'm looking at the lines more closely right now...  And it looks like it's gonna be underdog city imho.  Those that I think could win are Zhumagulov, Hawes, Smith, Jandiroba, Clark, Gracie, Yan, Muhammad and technically Sterling is an underdog.  I lean Cejudo but not sure if put any money on it.

As far as underdogs that I might put money on are Zhumagulov at 2.60, Gracie at 2.50 and Yan at 2.65.  But of course I'm broke as my campaign monies all went to this memecoin called FARB and it's not looking good bruv.  

Well, I think that is a great pick and some underdogs here have a right chance to shine you just need to pick wisely on those underdogs, but if it's your thing go and follow your guts, if it wins it can surely accumulate big wins more decent than winning with the favorites but I think I will also go with the main underdogs aswell, plus Zhumagulov fight was canceled not once but twice because both of his opponent got injured and there is no one that wants to fight him anymore,


Now my picks and predictions for the UFC 288: Sterling vs. Cejudo

Aljamain Sterling VS Henry Cejudo

The stake odds for this fight are 2.05 for Sterling and 1.88 for Cejudo, for this fight man Aljamain Sterling surely is taller than Cejudo, he surely got a decent stand-up and great takedowns and just like what have Merab Dvalishvili done with Petr Yan the combination of takedowns and striking will be his style for sure, but for Henry Cejudo I think his height and his muscular physique can give him advantage against Sterling because of that Sterling will have a hard time with the takedowns against Cejudo, so Henry Cejudo will surely capitalize on that when Sterling goes Takedowns Cejudo Takedown defense and strike, for me because of the Experience and a lot of difference division training partners my pick is Henry Cejudo,

Belal Muhammad VS Gilbert Burns

The stake odds for this fight are 2.17 for Muhammad and 1.79 for Burns, Actually many will be in favor of Gilbert Burns but right now Gilbert Burns will need to cut weight for this fight meaning he will be leaner now, but I don't want to give more credit on Muhammad because, in my opinion, Gilbert Burns has a lot of great technique with the stand-up and the grappling for sure Belal Muhammad wouldn't want to go with Burns in the Ground and even in the stand-up but for me but because Khabib Nurmagomedov and the team Khabib is training him now I think there are some pointers that Nurmagomedov and team is giving on Belal Muhammad that could help him in this fight, for sure Belal is not showing it in his earlier fights, so that is why my pick is Belal Muhammad,

Movsar Evloev VS Diego Lopes

The stake odds for this fight are 1.13 for Evloev and 7.60 for Lopes, for this fight Bryce Mitchell was the original fight for Movsar but because Bryce Mitchell has a back injury Diego Lopes was on short notice going up against Movsar Evloev, for me Movsar Evloev will surely win this but I am not betting for this fight I just want to give my picks and prediction and says that I am looking forward on Movsar Evloev's future fights and about it and so I will be betting for the Main and Co-main event,

I like Gilbert Burns's courage in accepting this fight after he just recently won against Jorge Masvidal. He could actually just ignore it and take a rest because he should be resting. But he still agreed to it and now they call him the "short-notice king".  Fight frequently and make weight on short notice and even if he is on the top of the ranking he doesn't mind. I like to give respect to that and bet for him to win this match. He must be confident with his skills because it was a very short training camp for him and preparation for learning more about Belal Muhammad.

About the title fight, I know Cejudo is a versatile fighter but I believe Sterling has the will to keep his throne and would fight to death for it. And I think Cejudo is rusty and it will show if the fight goes longer. Stamina might be the key for Sterling to win this match, exhaust Cejudo as much as he can then attack.

In this fight, both fights for sure can go on the ground while Aljamain Sterling can decide to just go on standing up a fight, Aljamain Sterling got significant  Height and reach advantage over Cejudo, so he can surely out-strike him this way, and Henry Cejudo will be the one going for the takedowns, Well Aljamain Sterling can sure withstand that pressure if whatever Cejudo capture him with a takedown I really think he will be ready for Cejudo, so for this fight my pick is Aljamain Sterling,

Belal Muhammad(+105) VS Gilbert Burns(-125)

For this fight, Gilbert Burns surely has the technical aspect with his striking and his ground game So stylistically Burns could dominate Muhammad, for me Belal Muhammad can not go against Gilbert Burns with the standing Burns got insane striking he can even go toe to toe against Khamzat Chimaev, so for me, there is no way for Muhammad to simply win this, my pick is Gilbert Burns,

Jéssica Andrade(-195) VS Xiaonan Yan(+162)

Now Just like the Balal Muhammad and Gilbert Burns fight this is in favor of Jessica Andrade, for sure Xiaonan Yan is the underdog for this fight Andrade has the power to knock Xiaonan Clean in an instant in my opinion, so this fight will be a sudden fight now this could be an easy fight for Jessica Andrade is Yan Xiaonan doesn't have any ground game which she doesn't,

There's some tough fights in there, with a lot of knock out power. Phil Hawes obviously being the prime example of that, but I just fancy his opponent a little more due to being more well rounded. Khaos is another one, I think he's got the skill to get it done, but ultimately I've gone with him due to his opponent eating shots like no tomorrow in nearly every fight he has, which you can't really do against someone like Khaos.

I'm fancying Virna just because of the wrestling, and Marina previously struggling against wrestlers or those who can grapple well. Claudio Ribeiro is a massive risk, because he carries his hands very low, and always has the chance of being knocked out himself. Although, he's got good movement which often mitigates the risk.

Charles Jourdain also being a massive risk. If this fight goes to the floor, which I expect Gracie to pull guard a few times in this fight, it could be over quickly. If Jourdain stays on the feet, and resists the temptation to go to the ground, I fancy him in the stand up. It's that classic, fighter IQ question. Gracie has decent stand up, but he does most of his notable work on the mat.

It's a tough night to bet on I'd say. Some good value underdogs though.

Any of you guys backing Muhammad this weekend?  I was thinking Burns last week but I just find it hard to fade Muhammad.  I think he'll have the right game plan just as he did vs Thompson, Sean Brady and Luque.  :/  The line is a close to a coin flip now but could move towards Muhammad's favor imho.

Likewise, I just can't ever go against Burns. No matter who you put him against in the top five, I'll pick Burns. I believe he's one of the most dangerous, as well as most rounded fighters you can get. I personally thought he beat Chimaev, and he most definitely did better than a lot of people were expecting, despite Chimaev being seen as this unstoppable force. Burns gets it done for me, and is probably one of my more confident picks this weekend. However, that doesn't mean much .

Hope you guys are pumped for this one as it's the return of what could become one of the best fighters in the UFC.  He's been saying that if he wins the belt he'll be going after Volk at 145.  That's a tall order but here to see it.  Hope he wins tho the three year lay off kinda makes it sketchy for Cejudo.

It was a short-notice fight and Gilbert Burns need to rest his fight with Jorge Masvidal was on April 8, 2023, and it is just at least a 1-month interval, for me this can exhaust a fighter but surely no one can truly dare to do what Royce Gracy is doing it back then, 3 to 4 fights in just 1 day, for sure this is a small feat for Gilbert Burns but surely that fight with Masvidal is not a small feat for him as Jorge Masvidal is doing great against him, but good luck to your picks actually Gilbert Burns was my 1st pick but I have to change it the moment I remember that Burns has a fight against Masvidal 1 month interval to this,

Welsh has great picks as well I really think I have a different perspective on Gilbert Burns against Belal Muhammad but surely I have seen a different side of Belal Mehammed that he can use against Burns, but this is not enough because Gilbert Burns is a force not to be reckoned with, and looking on paper there is no chance for Muhammed to defeat him for sure, but still squeezing it in me why I go with Muhammed than with Burns, but yeah I want to risk on some things that even a 5% chance that I will take it,

It's a tough night to bet on I'd say. Some good value underdogs though.

I think Matt Frevola is underdog with best chances to win today against Drew Dober.
He is few years younger and he has slight reach advantage, no idea why odds are so low on Dober.
Main and comain event should be interesting to watch and they can go both ways.

Yeah, there's a ton of underdogs which could win on the main card. I can see why this fight night is a Pay per view since it's absolutely stacked with competitive fights, that could go either way. Anyway, first fight on my betting slip, so we know the routine. I end up losing, and it kills the hype for the rest of the night .

In the main event only one fight was a TKO and that too which i did not expect and the rest of the fights went to a decision. It was a hard pick and i did not place a bet on this event as it was a difficult one. I did not expect Yan Xiaonan to win in the first round against Jéssica Andrade. The plan for Gilbert Burns to return too soon from his last fight backfired and Belal Muhammad should fight for the title next as he is on a 9 fight winning streak against the best.

The main event was a mixed one, the reach disadvantage of Henry Cejudo was evident with the strikes and whenever he took Aljamain Sterling down he was not able to capitalize that and usually ask them to stand up instead of taking any advantage on the ground and that helped Aljamain Sterling and was able to control the striking distance and he won clearly even though the judges gave a split decision.

From the all card the most things that took me by surprise are the last two fights. I didn't expect Belal and Aljo to win. I'm glad expecially for Belal but it's interesting how much he improved since training with Khabibs team. The most he got from them is their mentality. As for the main event Aljo keeps surprising in positive way and also him being bigger is what made a difference in this fight.

It a surely a close fight for these two, and Aljamain has gotten many strikes to Cejudo sure mostly on the face because Henry Cejudo's face was pretty much exposed on the ground surely it was still close but both fighters really have struggled so much, but yeah I win on Sterling and I know that he can win this because Henry Cejudo really didn't fight for almost 3 years, but surely he got what it take on winning this fight but Aljamain have done his best in capitalizing the win,

Belal Muhammad(+105) VS Gilbert Burns(-125) - LOST

Those mad kicks from Muhammad think that was cause the injury for Burn or maybe he is already injured entering the Octagon I don't know but that caused Burns to slow down and Belal Muhammad notice it to capitalize on this one for a win I really feel sorry for Burns this is a short-notice fight so his body might still be feeling the fatigue, he should rest for now maybe 9 months rest so he can fully regain that strength back,


Jéssica Andrade(-195) VS Xiaonan Yan(+162) - LOST

It was a technical OK for Yan Xiaonan, she surely knows that Andrade was really aggressive with her attacks Xiaonan was backing out while readying her punch to the face of Andrade, calculating where she can land that punch, it was really perfect timing for Yan Xiaonan and a solid win for her, and I was wrong for picking Andrade because she is not really a technical fighter,

OK Guys let me show you how I used one of my free bets in previous UFC event
I play many of my predictions I write for UFC and EFL Championship in Sportsbet website and this time I was lucky with Matt Frevola boosted odds.
Yesterday I said that I dont understand so high odds on him in front of his own crowd and he is a very good fighter with that KO win.
It was a good event overall, Belal Muhammad proved he is a class fighter and I expect to see him in title fight soon.

I'm still amazed at Cejudo nearly taking the crown after 3 years of inactivity. The fight was close especially if we give credit to Cejudo's takedown defense. Sterling is really talented and his Hollywood acting was ready to put on display while on the ground trying to lure Cejudo. And because of that, he gets a bonus in his next fight.

Either Belal caused the injury or he just made the injury worse or Burns' body is a little soft and not fully healed after his 3 rounds fight with Masvidal. Too bad for Burns, this defeat could diminish his rank. He could have waited at least a month before starting another full training camp. Burns was still dangerous and Belal did well by staying safe in securing his victory and his title shot.

The underdog that pretty much got everybody surprised was Matt Frevola.  Dober's iron cast chin looks like it's slowly going away after years of taking direct hits.  His style always relied that his chin holds...  Looks like he's a fade vs up and coming hard hitters at 155.

Anyway, I always make it a habit to watch Dana White's interviews at post fight conferences just to see what's going on and what in store for the future of the UFC.  I think I'll start posting them after each event.  Enjoy...

Aljo won which I think he also made more significant hit. Cejudo made it through til the last round where people are saying its a robbery because of the 3rd and 4th round are questioned while the 5th should have been with Cejudo. Their score cards says Cejudo. There are lots to say when decisions are already made. Anyway, Aljo may have more than 50% of beating Omalley.

The fight made people ask whether throwing knees while on the ground is going to be made legal. Its becoming a cheat sheet for fighters already.

This is the first time I dare to bet some money on the women's fight between Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Tainara Lisboa which will take place next Saturday.
Usually I only bet on male fighters but seeing a chance to win for Jessica I dared to take the risk.
Jessica is a female fighter in the Bantamweight division and has quite a history of fighting.
When I did my research and looked at her fight history, can see that Jessica has the upper hand and has a big chance to win the fight.
