So far best buy and radio shack were a bust
Do you have a Frys near you ? They will have 'em. I just used the cord from a spare evga 1300 PSU i had lying around. No Fry's, and nowhere else around here has them, I only want to order one once, so can someone please confirm that the following link is correct? http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B007O0XL4Q/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=newThanks

Looks right. I ran mine for a couple of days on a lighter gauge cord and it got warm but not scary warm. Like I said, just under or about 9 amps at the wall.
Or, if you are handy, you could cut the end off of your existing cable, pick up the correct connector at Home Depot or somewhere and wire it up yourself.

Yea, its just that where this is going is about 20 S1's, which is already quite warm, so I do not want to push it over the edge.

Yeah those S1s put out some heat for sure, but I wouldn't stress out too much about it. Just run it under the carpet where you won't see it if it catches fire <just-kidding> lol

Seriously, just cut the end off the Hong Kong cord, take it to Home Depot, tell them you want the right plug and they'll probably even wire it up for you for free.

Hi I'm hoping someone can help. I placed a order with Bitmain and sent payment from Coinbase. From my end it looks like everything went ok but Bitmain shows they did not receive payment and now the order shows it has expired. Where did my Bitcoin go? I have ordered in the past and have had no problem. I just hope I didn't lose 2K worth of Bitcoin. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Send an email to Bitmain to fix the order status, it happened to my order also, don't worry he will ship your order.

I just bought one of S2 Price with coupon 2.92BTC
interesting...right now buying or "holding" btc seems to be the best tactic. Plugging today's price into a calculator gives breakeven in december with a lot of work and care and "only" 14.4% average difficulty rise per cycle. Buying was best at the group buy price. selling miner will be best at around the next BTC peak (could be July). Buying now and enduring ASIC miner 30PH/mo deployment for 3 mo plus KnC unleashing another 10-20 PH-a tough call. We could be back to the 20% difficulty rise each cycle for a couple of months at least, maybe even 3 months. Yep! Until the price falls a bit and the "hodler" sells low in a panic. Funny how buy-and-holders never take that scenario into account. Mining=bad. Holding=good. Pshaw! Btw, why isn't buying now bad? Isn't the market price a little too optimistic right now?

To Micro Center! (love that place) It says 240V on it, so I assume its a foreign plug. Thanks for those who helped.
Better check the PSU for a 110/240 switch on it. Make sure its set correctly before plugging it in. ALL current PSUs are auto-switching including the garbage Enermax that BitMain uses. To the OP, if you're in dire need and can't wait, just take any power cord from a PC or another less powerful miner you have laying around. Btw, this is an annoying oversight by BitMain. Why haven't they corrected this by now?

Ok, Micro Center did not have a 15A cable, only 10A cables. So I am out of places to go today. If I were to take out a hashboard or two, will it run on a 10A cable just fine? Or would you guys recommend not doing that?
Just cut the supplied plug off the cord and put on a new one, you can just buy a plug from the hardware store. Otherwise, just take a cable from a printer or kettle in you home and use that.

Did they come with the cable for the board to the LCD or the io board ? came with all cables but is a complete S2, not the 'kit' you are thinking of. also came with a missing cap a half dozen broken caps and odd looking extras on all the boards (which were also all damaged) this is the kind of delivery i have been dreading... already contacted bitmain and crossing my fingers it doesnt work out to be a bunch MORE wasted time Good luck Edgar, it seem the longer UPS has these things, the more they get damaged.

ok so i went balls deep and powered her up - 9 blades hashing @ a better hashrate than my other S2s that were not damaged and are running 10 blades....
1000w is clearly NOT ENOUGH and anyone who hasnt upgraded is losing GH by the second.
myself included...
@freebit - despite my last 6-7 orders being dleivered by UPS , this time i was blessed with the talents of SF shipping..
25USD fee
instead of the 100+ from UPS (my personal choice)
and the 300+ from DHL (who are villains)
so when shaving pennies you clearly do get what u pay for - it looks as tough this rig was removed from the box, foam and bubblewrap then thrown onto the floor with some force before being repackaged minus the bubblewrap that was just stuffed inthe side.
anyway - ive learnt that they need more power for a fact and i will be lucky if the ever helpful bitmain can sort me out

Not good to hear your machine with 9 cards hashes better than one with 10, these earlier machines seem to have some variance like the S1's. That's strange because my PSU gave up after a few months and wouldn't run 10 cards. I got it replaced by Bitmain with another brand new Enermax 1000W in the box and a new power board and that is up and running now for a couple of weeks. I also got my 2 damaged boards replaced on Monday and I'm running all 10 now at 1003GH/s... I'll have to see how long this psu lasts, but it looks good for now although it might be a bit early to tell.

...better than early Batch 4 with 10 cards by quite a long way
not as good as batch 3 with 10 cards.
the batch 4 seems to dwindledown to around 850 . i did ask about this on another thread.
anyone experienced a dwindledown rig??
I must admit that mine has done that from time to time and I've not figured out why exactly. Sometimes I found it was leaking shares to my backup pool and other times I found pulling and reinserting the cards helped. I also found that the gui would sometimes report a different hashrate to the pool and I think that was due to the ntp going out of whack or something, try clicking Save&Apply in the Miner config and see if it starts cgminer with the full hashrate.
