The fact that the announcement was made by the legendary member certainly attracts attention, but the postscript that he is not a part of the project, but simply provides paid advertising services, is alarming. I would pay attention to such announcement, but I would not fully trust it

The trust scores you see are subjective; they will change depending on who you have in your trust list.

Of course not. How can you trust is not known to whom. Maybe a person registered for a long time and constantly wrote messages, but he does not have deep knowledge in the crypto industry.

that is not entirely true, maybe if it was a new person in this forum it could happen. Now we see since the ICOs surfaced, thousands of ANNs have been created in this forum and some of them were announced by legendary members, some of whom were exposed to red trust, the success of the project was not based on legendary members who made the announcement .

The main key to success is in the value of assets that are getting more valuable. Recommended Crypto Trading platform Binance.com

Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.
Well, I will support some projects promoted by Legendary member, but not all, I will still look at the history of the member, and be sure that at least 70 percent of his projects has been successful, if I can have that positive record about him, I will not hesitate In trying whatever project I come across through him.

The fact that he rose to being a legendary member does not mean he can be so fact too in choosing projects, there are lots of projects that are not completely clear to them too, which they will also risk to promote out of faith that it will not end up turning to a shit project which is why you see that they can never also have 100 percent record of quality project. Whatever project I see from a legendary member, I will still have to be personally sure of it too by researching on it.

yes I believe in projects that are legendary members revealing but I first check on each bounty I will complete if it is complete in the requirements for running a project to prevent the crook and earn a great deal.

As far as I rate, most of those Legendary Members, they were here for a long time, they know almost everything in the forum, they can easily tell if the project was bogus or scam. Because we all knew, earn ranking on this forum is wasn't easy.

However, I also need to do my homework, study the project, know their purpose and their objectives.

of course not. Not all Legends in this forum can know in advance about the quality of the project if they are not part of the team. this does not mean that they can not be trusted, you just have to always check the project very carefully

Definitely no, i always do my own research about the projects i join. Legendary member can take some money from that announcement and can continue with his/her life.  Besides i heard that accounts can be bought from some websites.

Will you trust a project that the one that announced it in the announcement thread is a legendary member even though the legendary has announced that he is not part of the team and was just part of the service he offered.

Let me know your thoughts here.

Usually it is not a huge factor determining the legitimacy of ICO/IEO. But it certainly can play a big part.
If the legendary has a negative trust, I will check it always and check why he has a negative trust. If it turns out tat he has been involved in past scams, I immediately will stop checking out that project , not worth the risk.

In other cases , it is better that i see legendary than Newbie announcing.

in as much as ranking is very important,  I have seen high ranked bitcointalk account talking or making posts like a newbie.  Some newbie in the other hand make quality posts and comments.  Why then do I have to take high ranked account too serious?  Every rank is useful to me here

In my opinion, the project announced by the legendary is more reliable than the one announced by the newbie or member. because the project will see someone who manages it who is professional. and legendary certainly understand and professional in choosing a good project.

I think that depends on whether that's their first time of announcing a project or not. If they have announced a project before and I check and it happens that the last one they announced was a success, then I MIGHT take part in the current one. But if they haven't announced any before I will just go through everything and see how it's going to work out and if it's really a good project to invest my money and time in. They are humans, just because that they are legendary ranked in the forum doesn't mean that they can't make a mistake you know.

Trust is such a big word, but I am definitely going to look it up. I am not the type to jump up and dance because a legendary member announced it or is a part of it. What if he was paid handsomely for just that?

I do my ground work which includes researching who the team members of the said project(s) are, I'll then read up the white paper and try to understand how feasible the said project will be. That's the reason we have brains

I don't really look at the rank of manager bounty, sometimes some are still members. indeed it's an average hero or legendary member, but it's not a guarantee. there are still many other things to consider such as the team, and also the road map. where the token will be listed will also affect the project to be successful or not.

It doesn't matter what rank the announcer is. What matter is the project that is being announced, the content of the announcement, and the benefits of the readers.  Also, the trust of the announcer can be a key to confirm if the project was legit or a scam. The announcer just act as a messenger for us to know that certain project and we are the clients that can trust or doubt that project.

Even the forum tells us that a members status/rank is a bad indicator of trust. To me, it doesn't matter if its a low rank or a high rank. I am more worried about the fact that the team is not running the Ann but left it to a third party and I would want to know why. I don't think I trust anyone fully anyway.

I do not believe at all, now the project is better for analysis and research itself, do not believe in what people say. I think it's a mistake to trust people's statements

Yes, the research you do yourself is your best tool.

In some cases, it does add an extra layer of trust, especially when it's a well-known legendary member.
I know a couple of legendary members, including myself, who would only create an announcement thread when they are 100% sure that the project is fair and trustworthy.

A project is not made by bounty manager, rather it is made by what is has to offer to the community at large. Bounty manager are out to offer services irrespective of their level on the forum.

I think I wouldn't care at all, that is the last thing I will check about a new project, I literally do not even check what member level a person is when replying to them, to me those are just showing how long you have been here and that's it.

All I care is if the project actually worth something or not, if I like the project that is not even enough for me to invest neither, I literally would like to get others opinions on it as well, if a coin is liked by me and everyone else I know and then there is a good community behind then why would I care if the topic was created by a newbie or a legendary? That would make no sense at all, if a coin is good then a newbie could still pull it off, if it is bad then even a legendary would not be able to get me invest into it at all.

It depends on who the person is in this forum. Because previously only hardworking discussion you can easily achieve Hero milestones. Finally, it is still necessary to rely on self-assessment to know if the project should be involved
