No guys, you got this wrong if I understand it correctly. Abramovich did NOT say that the proceeds will be forwarded to the victims of the war, but any profits from the sale that he might make. In essence, it is quite up to him when it comes to accounting and calculating his investment + expenditures and some potential profit from the sale. He could walk away with zero losses despite being sanctioned. If the full proceeds were to be forwarded to victims, I believe it would be ok. But if it's only the profits, it is just cheap trick to escape sanctions. The oligarchs who benefitted from Putin all their lives should also now pay the bill. You know, you can still have some calm sleep if you like Abramovich: he won't end up broke even without Chelsea

It is definitely going to be demoralising for those Chelsea players, manager and the entire team/staff, it is a period of uncertainty, and that is definitely not good for the morale of the players, but they are professionals and i doubt they are just going to throw in the towel in the competitions they still are in, they will definitely fight to the end.

Yes, the sanctions really hit the club hard in every aspect of the word, i personally did not expect it to be of this extent, but it is what it is, and i am pretty sure the club is working behind the scenes to make the situation fairly better, it is really going to be bad for English football if a club like Chelsea just crumbles this way, it is really unfair, especially for the fans.

And let me tell you that Lionel Messi was a lot more criticized because of his penalty miss in the first leg. If he had scored that penalty fans are saying that the outcome might have been different. I actually also think that there were certainly better options to take the penalty rather than Messi. I did think that something like this could happen but I didn't give Real Madrid much of a chance, to be honest. I think now we can safely say goodbye to the PSG coach.

Not sure how many more years Benzema will play. Though there is less talk about him, he is a great player. I would even say that Real Madrid have relied entirely on Benzema's performance over the last two seasons. The PSG team is not suitable for Messi. Because the players on the team are not friendly. This is due to the inexperience of the coach though. If we had an experienced coach, we would have seen a better performance from the PSG team.

It looks like Messi is coming to the end of his career. He was the best player in the world, but he no longer has the same influence, neither scoring nor assisting in the game. We can all see that he has no former strength. He is a football player we love, but we have to accept that he is getting old now.

I feel the Uk government are somewhat harsh on Chelsea FC, this seem to be beyond Roman Abramovich right now as person. The club has staffs, they can seize the club till they have a buyer to purchase it but they should allow the club run as it should. I completely agree that Ronaldo was great today by making a hat-trick against Tottenham. And this 3-2 win for Manchester United should be definitely helpful for them to get well-prepared for this game. Winning against a team that is in a solid shape is always hard but Manchester United were successful about it. I still believe in them to defeat Atletico Madrid even if they have big difficulties here. Ronaldo deserves to achieve a good success by this effort. Maybe they won't win the title but they should be able to go far from here.

Now that Liverpool team and Manchester city team are qualified for quarter - finals, why some team are still struggle to qualify base on their poor performance in their last matches. Chelsea team are seriously struggle to join the qualified team for quarter - finals to enable them to drag the UEFA champion league title from Manchester city who are in good position to stand for final in this tournament. This round 16 is seriously affecting Manchester United that got to 4 position in the table but they have dropped to 5  position that is giving their fans a serious worry if they will be able to qualify for quarter final in this season.

I wouldn't say Chelsea is struggling to qualify for the quarter finals because as it is now they are 2 goals up already in the first leg and i don't think Lille is such team that can make a come back so its safe to say Chelsea are in the quarter finals already.
