No guys, you got this wrong if I understand it correctly. Abramovich did NOT say that the proceeds will be forwarded to the victims of the war, but any profits from the sale that he might make. In essence, it is quite up to him when it comes to accounting and calculating his investment + expenditures and some potential profit from the sale. He could walk away with zero losses despite being sanctioned. If the full proceeds were to be forwarded to victims, I believe it would be ok. But if it's only the profits, it is just cheap trick to escape sanctions. The oligarchs who benefitted from Putin all their lives should also now pay the bill. You know, you can still have some calm sleep if you like Abramovich: he won't end up broke even without Chelsea

I agree here with your all statement it's completely unfair by The FA as they have frozen the all things and now club is stuck even now can't sale this one until further they have any new decision about this all situation which is happening just because of Russia/Ukraine conflict. Roman Abramovich done very good in last few decades for his passion and love of soccer Chelsea have massive success just because of his money and strategy but going all end in this way is worst for club and owner because now what happen and new owner and management how handle it's all question mark on club and his success.

I completely agree, very few persons will see things from this perspective but have quickly and hastily come to agreement that whatever sanctions leveled against any russian owned investment is fair. But really how has these sanctions that have affected a club loved by people from different origin and not just russia be of benefit? IMO, it is ridiculous. I tell you the whole agenda against Chelsea is now obvious. Big shout out to Roman for taking one for the club. He is constantly putting the club first in whatever decision he takes. Manchester United versus Atletico Madrid was daily interesting in the first leg and I think it will be just as same in the second leg as well.

I honestly did not believe that Manchester United were worthy of getting a draw out of the match because, in my opinion, they played really badly. They were just lucky to draw that match. But in the second leg, the match is going to be a home match for Manchester United so I do expect them to play better. But I think Atletico Madrid is not going to play defensive.

I'm not so sure about Manchester United even though now they can qualify for the next round. Even though they have a predator in the Champions League (Cristiano Ronaldo), but as a team they don't show that they deserve that place.
