I don't really understood what happened to my club Manchester United in that match. With the way they started it was certain to me that they will win the match but the reverse was the case. Despite that they dominated the game in possessions and in passes.
I really wished Ralf Rangnick made that 66 minutes changes immediately second half started. Who knows if the story would have been different. Well it was a disappointing night for Manchester United fans, we expected much from Ronaldo.

Manchester United were only passing the ball around the midfield, doing nothing with it, they couldn't break the Atletico Madrid defense, the best they got going forward was corner kicks, they spent the entire game complaining about the ref decision, I knew the game was over the moment Bruno and Elegan were taken off in the second half, they were the only players causing problems for the Atletico Madrid team, Matic and Pogba were very poor, they offer nothing to the team. Tbh I wasn't surprised because I knew they wouldn't make it past round 16.

It was really a big disappointment. At the beginning of the match, Manchester United came very close to the goal with the quickness of Elenga, but unfortunately they could not score a goal against Atletcio Madrid. I think Manchester United's gameplay yesterday against Atletico wasn't too bad, it's just that Manchester United didn't get lucky. There were some shots on goal made by Manchester United players but unfortunately, Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak played very well in this match and that was very impressive for me because basically Jan Oblak in my view is a difficult goalkeeper. rangnick seems to have a strategy that is not much different from ole, looking at the strategy he made is like looking at ole's strategy. Man utd's midfield and front have been good, only the backline is still very bad, in the transfer market what Man utd must prioritize is to find competent defenders, who can make man utd's back line stronger so I'm sure they can dominate the premier league again and even UCL.

The game plan for this match would be to just try and absorb whatever Lille will be bringing to the table and I can assure you that, Lille will be bringing the fight to Chelsea. Good thing is that we have quite an impressive record under Thomas Tuchel in the champions league. When it comes to defending, we do that with 100% zeal and our clean sheets is always important even more than the points. Chelsea would easily knockout Lille from the round of 16 tiers. In regards to the goals, you should be expecting atleast 2 goals from Chelsea. One early and one late goals to seal up the match.

In the second leg, it seems the away teams are having much of the results go their way. With that in mind I should think Villarreal will knockout Juventus but that's not going to be an easy challenge. Speaking of defense, I'm looking at the captain who has always been De Gea biggest enemy. If Juventus recent form is anything to go by, they tend to always find a way to get the job done, and I don't think today would be any different. It's going to be a tough task though, but I believe Juventus would make it through to the next stage.

As well as Chelsea, despite the team going through a tough time which the recent sanctions surrounding the club which could affect the players psychologically, the players have coped pretty well over their last few games after the sanctions, and tonight should be of no difference.

I don't understand why every time I look at Manchester United I see that some bunch of people just looking at each other and passing the ball like ok then don't know what to do or they just don't care.

honestly, I don't think that the players are making any meaningful runs for the midfield or defensive player to give them a good through ball. If they try to do that they end up taking the ball to a crossing position and getting a corner out of it which eventually is defended by the opponent.

So, the only way Manchester United is winning right now is Ronaldo scoring hattricks, otherwise, they are just lost for ideas!!
