Trough six years with Manchester City Pep Guardiola always failure giving champion league trophy and he was failed before with Bayern Munich and only Barcelona as team was success give champion league trophy. He looks not competent with other team except Barcelona and last  on 2015 defeated Juventus on final 3-1. Now he has try thousand way with financial support on Manchester City but still failed how to get champion league trophy. Manchester City can definitely qualify for the top 4 would be very possible, I'm sure Pep Guardiola can give his best this season. Guardiola is a very good manager. I think the same as you in this regard. I am sure that Manchester City will do their best in both However, players will have to get used to this intense pace. I think Liverpool stands a better chance to win the league at the moment if we are to judge by their form and consistency. They could even go on top of the league before their meeting with Manchester City; all they need do is just beat South Hampton and that would give them a psychological advantage over City in their fixture since City won't be involve in league game this weekend, this is perfect opportunity for Liverpool.
If they can just manage to beat Manchester  City, I think the title is theirs.

But when they can't play like that then most likely a score like Salzburg will happen. To be honest, for Bayern this CL performance is very difficult to predict in my opinion because they are quite difficult to predict, just like when they played against Salzburg they were very different in the first and second legs.

I think Real Madrid is going to have the advantage against Chelsea because they are not bothered too much about La Liga at the moment. they have a quite comfortable lead and look to be ending the season in the first place.

But, that is obviously not the case for Chelsea because they have to keep away from Arsenal and get close to Liverpool at the same time. Which at the moment seems like a really hard job for them. And the fitness of the players will also come into play..
