Even though Abramovich is a oligarch i think he was a great investor for Chelsea who did not invest into the club to make money with it but to help the club become one of the strongest teams in Europe. If i remember correctly then Chelsea was just an average Premier League club before Abramovich came.
So it will be interesting to see what happens when there is a new investor. Will he, just like Abramovich, also pump money from his own pocket into the club in order to stay competitive or will he just buy the shares from Abramovich and that's it?
