Chelsea - Real Madrid draw is a really close one I believe. Real Madrid seem to be much more serious for the title this year. And they have proved it by eliminating PSG already I believe. PSG were a huge target to eliminate for them. But Chelsea shouldn't be seen as an easier target. Because it shouldn't be forgotten that they were the champions of last season. Real Madrid should get at least a draw in the first leg to have a bigger chance. They would play much stronger in Santiago Bernabeu after that.

The game involving Chelsea and  Madrid is going to be a tough game because both teams have had the experience of Champions league. Am not going to talk about who wins in the game because football this days is unpredictable and the two team  is in a good form this season so i think i will support the better team to win I won't give any club a win based on the odd but the performance in the field of play.

The match between Real Madrid and Chelsea is trickish kind of. But there is a strong determining factor in that very match, which is the availability of Karem Benzema. If Benzema is not available for Real Madrid they will big trouble in that particular match.
But if Benzema will be available, Chelsea will not qualify. I am not undermining Chelsea as a club but there is what I am seeing. Chelsea's strength is a team strength and they believe the decision of their coach because he has been doing well.
If you look at Real Madrid attack, if Vinicius jr is making those his runs, it will distract the defence and Benzema will strike. He has high level accuracy. With Vinicius and Benzema, Madrid is ahead in attack. Then, if the Madrid coach will stop gambling unknown formations, Madrid midfield is also good.
But Chelsea also has good record against the Spanish side in H2H.

I also don't know who the favorite is in the match between Chelsea and Real Madrid. A lot will depend on Benzema's form of the day. The last time against Barcelona it was a disappointment, if you don't have Benzema available in the Champions League against Chelsea, that's a nice harbinger to be eliminated I think. I don't think so too, no disrespect to Athletico Madrid but i believe City will be too strong for them and i expect the champions of England to progress to the next round, Athletico will come into the game with a defensive mindset for sure, just as they always do, and i think that will be their own undoing as City will throw everything at them and get a couple of goals. Having said that, if Athletico are to have any chance in this game then they must change their philosophy of parking the bus, if they come into this game with that tactic, they are going to get beat pretty well.

I personally will still choose Chelsea even if Benzema recovers later because at the moment, Chelsea are a very good team in their performance on the pitch. What's more, basically Chelsea have the best goalkeeper in the world in my view and yes, that is Edouard Mendy. I am very sure, Mendy will be able to make many strikers like Benzema have difficulty to score goals against Mendy. So yes, whether or not Benzema will play against Chelsea, I personally believe that Chelsea as the defending champion will be able to overcome this tough opponent to get back to the semifinals or even to the final again.

Real Madrid have always had a strong mentality and a good game when they played on the UCL stage. they are the kings of UCL by winning the most trophies. I think their loss in the EL Clasico last week can't be used as a reference for matches in UCL, they can always surprise and play well in UCL even though they have had difficulties in the domestic league, that's often happened in the last few seasons, because Real Madrid is the king of UCL .
