We could never have imagined that today's Pakistan would perform so badly against Bangladesh. Pakistan were bowled out for 272 runs and Bangladesh's innings was in great form early on but after falling by six wickets for 26 runs, Pakistan could not pick up any significant wickets but Liton Das' 138 and Mehdi Hasan Miraj's innings of 78 kept Bangladesh alive in the match till now. -Root turning out to be a late bloomer. Before 2021 his conversion rate was piss poor and had a big problem converting 50s to 100s (Still, worst among FAB-4, by a big margin) but after 2021 he's on a song and stat padded (in a good way) ton after ton, total 15 tons.

-Smith experimenting with opening slots and so far failing miserably. Hope, he gets back to his original no 4 position because he's 35 atm and might not have more than 2-3 years.

-Virat slowed down drastically during the 2019-22 period and after that, missed plenty of matches due to personal reasons. He's almost 36 so he's in the same boat as Smith. Having said that, he fit tho and if he gives up ODI too then there is a slight possibility of him squeezing a couple of more years.

- Kane Mama is the unluckiest in this group. Same age as Root but NZ hardly plays any test cricket, Just to give you an example; Since 2020, Root has played 56 test matches and Kane only got to play 22 matches (he missed a couple of tests tho). IMO he'd have surpassed Sachin's record easily if he had the luxury of playing more test matches. His conversion rate is as good as Virat's.

Root might end up with more centuries but my personal choice would be Smith>Kane>Root>Virat

I even remember a commentator saying that ”Bangladesh should realize that they are outclassed by Pakistan” or something like that.

Right after that, the big partnership between Litton Das and Mehedi Miraz happened. Litton Das scored an incredible 138 and meanwhile Miraz scored 78. And both of them made it look like it was a Batting friendly pitch. They absolutely saved Bangladesh from a very bad situation. And Bangladesh ended the innings by scoring a respectable 262.

By the way, Pakistan did start their innings and they have already lost two wickets scoring only nine runs. Hassan Mahmud got both of the wickets. Let’s see if Pakistan can actually make a comeback like Bangladesh on the next day.

Sri Lanka were bowled out before 200 in the first innings and they have scored 51 runs in the second innings so far where they have lost two wickets so it is safe to say that England are ahead in the second Test so far. England will look to pick up some important wickets early in the fourth day and if they can keep a few wickets down in the first session, it won't take them long to all out Sri Lanka. However, after seeing England batting in the second innings, we felt that batting on the wicket would be a bit more difficult for the batsmen in that case before the runs that Sri Lanka scored in the first innings.

It was unimaginable that the Bangladesh team could collect 262 runs after losing 6 important batsmen of the top order for just 26 runs. I was prepared to see Bangladesh lose all their wickets within 100-120 runs. But the Bangladesh team showed surprise. The team made a huge collection of 262. Liton Das scored 138 runs and Mehedi Miraz played an excellent two innings of 78 runs. Bangladesh collected 165 runs from this pair. These two Bangladeshi batsmen have batted very responsibly.

Miraz is in great form in this series. He has done excellent bowling and batting in the first match as well. In this match, Miraz took 5 wickets in the first innings and collected 78 runs. If Shakib had been in a bit better form then beating Pakistan would not have been a difficult task for Bangladesh. On the other hand, at the end of the third day, Pakistan team lost two wickets to collect only 9 runs. I doubt whether Pakistan will be able to start the day well. Pakistan team is ahead by only 21 runs.

After watching Sri Lanka's first innings performance, we were sure that the Sri Lankan team was going to be beaten for sure. Because the England team collected 427 runs in the first innings. On the other hand, Sri Lanka's collection was only 196 runs. England team took a huge lead of 231 runs. If Sri Lanka could have managed to score 350+ in the first innings, the match might have been competitive. In the first innings, the performance of the Sri Lankan bowlers as well as their batsmen was very poor.

However, the performance of the Sri Lankan batsmen in the second innings was good enough. The team managed to collect 292 runs. 3 Sri Lankan batsmen have scored half centuries. But no batsman can play big innings.

Sri Lanka are weak as usual in the Test format. Especially the performance of the batsmen is very erratic. This is why the team failed to do well in both matches against England. I think we will see the defeat of Sri Lanka as usual in the third Test match at the Oval.

Well I appreciate the performance of Bangladeshi team. Today is the third day and I hope they will give a 200+ lead to Pakistan. And Pakistan will not chase that and will not give any lead and Bangladesh will win the match easily.

Yes 1 st test game was won by Bangladesh team by big margin and 10 wickets left for play but they won easily now 2 nd test game is continuing between international teams Pakistan and Bangladesh team. Both teams played their 1 st Inning and when Pakistan completed their 1 st Inning I thought that again Pakistan team showed poor effort and again they lost this game with big margin but their bowlers performed very well and their bowlers dismissed all wickets of Bangladesh for 262 runs and Pakistan team made 274 runs in 1 st Inning. I am also the supporter of Pakistan team but their team made me sad in past game hope their team will win this game and their 2 nd inning was already started and sad thing that Pakistan team lost their 2 wickets A.Shafique and Shahzad. Both these wickets was took down by Hassan bowlers of Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh performance was excellent in bowling in the first inning. Especially Mehidy Hasan Miraz bowling was excellent. He collected 5 wickets. Means he destroyed half of the Pakistan team. And Pakistani is very weak now. I think if they will play with Zimbabwe team so they will lose the match from them too.
Well I appreciate the performance of Bangladeshi team. Today is the third day and I hope they will give a 200+ lead to Pakistan. And Pakistan will not chase that and will not give any lead and Bangladesh will win the match easily.

Yeh it's true Pakistani team performance were out completely off colour and rather than saim, agah and Masood none of other add his true contribution like a stunning century or something related to that to put his team out of trouble situation and for that completely credit goes to Bangladesh bowling lineup because they really smashed them hardly. While I expect same brilliant batting performance for Bangladesh batter at second innings they way they does in first test match but surprisingly Pakistani bowling showed thier real sharpness and get 6 wicket on just 26 runs in very early stage of thier innings and at that time I taught they will hardly score around 150 but the vital partnership of L.das and miraz put them on right track and scored 262 with handsome century of das now let's see how Pakistan mange their innings to divert results in thier favor or just drawn the results

The more wickets the Sri Lankan team loses here, the more pressure they will face as they start losing wickets right from the start of the batting.  Losing wickets is the worst sign of a Test match, where every player is the starting tool for a Test match. Pathum Nissanka and Nishan Madushka are the two top order batsmen here, but coming into this match they have been out with few runs.  Which will be a huge problem for the Sri Lankan team if they want to win, as they have lost two wickets for 53 runs so far. And so far 430 runs must be collected if the Sri Lankan team wants to win.

Sri Lanka has the last chance to win this game. At the same time, I think to draw this game would be more reliable for them. There are two days left, just have to play with the intention to keep wickets in hand and with no tension.
