Although the fourth day's play is over and the Bangladesh team has collected 42 runs, Bangladesh still need to collect 143 runs to reach the winning stage. If the Bangladesh team could have played the innings today then the win would have been assured, tomorrow however if the game starts on the fifth day tomorrow if the game is delayed due to rain, it will be unfortunate for Bangladesh. But on the fifth day, I definitely expect the Bangladesh team to play well enough, and they will give a good enough batting performance to win the series. After watching Sri Lanka's first innings performance, we were sure that the Sri Lankan team was going to be beaten for sure. Because the England team collected 427 runs in the first innings. On the other hand, Sri Lanka's collection was only 196 runs. England team took a huge lead of 231 runs. If Sri Lanka could have managed to score 350+ in the first innings, the match might have been competitive. In the first innings, the performance of the Sri Lankan bowlers as well as their batsmen was very poor.

England has won the test match against Sri Lanka. From the start of the game, England was looking hard and strong. Joe Root played very well as he made a century, also he broke a record it was his 34th century.

In the first innings, Joe Root was playing carefully and reach around 150 but can’t touch it. However, in the second innings, he played fast and made 103 in 120 balls. By the way in both innings, he has not hit any sixes, he made it with fours.
England won by 190 runs in which the majority of the effort belongs to Joe Root and it was possible by him because whenever he played fast, the other team was under pressure.

It's still tough to believe that Bangladesh went from 26/6 to probably winning the second test and the entire series pretty comfortably. Crazy twist of the highest order and is an IPL level one if you ask me.

Momentum is on Bangladesh's side currently and I don't think rain would play spoilsport. This is great news for their country which is in complete shambles these days.

I really do not understand how Pakistan can fuck this up so badly. I am pretty sure that even the Pakistan team was thinking about following on when Bangladesh was on 26/6. And now the situation is absolutely different. Pakistan did have a lead of 10 Runs after Bangladesh had finished their first inning. I thought Pakistan actually tried to go for a draw as the first day of the test match was already washed out because of rain. But Pakistan was unable to do that. Bangladesh was able to bag Pakistan for only 172. And the target for Bangladesh was 185. Bangladesh has already been able to score 42 and have not lost a single wicket so far. It’s not looking good for Pakistan.

The rain was helping the Pakistan team. Bangladesh has taken all the wickets of Pakistan and when the Pakistan team was bowling then first the game has stopped for some time due to bad light.

By the way, there is the full 5th day left in the match so I think there should not be the use of lights but at the same time there is too cloudy weather and after some time, the rain had started too and that was too fast that is why the umpires had to call stumps for the day. They understood that to wait for the stop of rain will be a waste of time and of no advantage.

Tomorrow Bangladesh need only 143 runs and they will surely win this match. Only rain can save the game for Pakistan else they stand no chance now.

I am more surprised at quality difference between Pace bowling attack of both teams. Pakistani bowlers were good in patches but in the context of this series, Bangladesh seamers clearly outbowled them and surprisingly they were faster and fitter in comparison to Pak's seamers, the less we talk about the spin, the better. If tomorrow, weather permits then they will have another chance to prove themselves but oh boy! they look cooked to me.

England always gave hope to Sri Lanka to win this game but later when Sri Lanka starting to underestimate them then they raised their bar. In the last match, we saw this thing that has repeated two times.

In the batting, England's top order have performed poor then Sri Lanka bowlers thought they could out them easily till the middle order has not started and then we understand that SriLanka could not win againist England despite applying some pressure on them
In the second innings, the England team have scored not high but rather low score but since England got a big lead from the first innings, this had a big impact on their win.
