The laliga league just got really competitive. No dulling on the sides of either teams, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The great whites had a very good game today and they used there home advantage quite well to secure all 3 points though, Valencia weren't all that competitive during the game. They never posed any serious threat for the Real Madrid team and Madrid ensured they dominated the game having over 7 shots on target with Toni Kroos tactically delivering an assist and scored a goal while Valencia could only have a shot on target. A 3 point well deserved and they continue to hold there place as 2nd on the table still.

Real Betis is so inconsistent this season that I probably should stop betting on games where thay're involved. I had stake on Villarreal win tonight and surprisingly, Betis won away. And they are slowly getting up in the table, already 4th and 3 points behind Villarreal.
On Monday, there is game between Cadiz and Athletic, these two are hardly predictable teams too, but I tend to give advantage to Athletic.

After Real Madrid won today's match vs Sevilla, I hope Barcelona can do the same. This will keep them on the right track in hope of putting a little pressure on Atletico Madrid.

Atlético Madrid have 2 games to play so far and are still leading with a 5 points gap as of today, so I don't think they will be on pressure... Even a little.

Real Madrid got a very clear 2-0 win against Valencia today. They played so dominantly

They seem to realize the chance is still there and should never give up to compete with Atletico and Barcelona till the end of the season. By the way, looking at how they dominate the game today, I am sure if the players' confidence already improved.

Kroos was in a good mood and he scored 1 goal and made 1 assist.

He is one of the key players on Real Madrid mid-field. Surely, it is not so surprising to see his big role to win the match. He is good at attacking and at defense as well. Let's hope that he will keep a good mood in the upcoming matches.

I am quite surprised that Real Betis can beat Villarreal, in fact I am also disappointed that my bet for Villarreal's victory had to fail. Real Betis' victory made
the points they have closer to Villarreal, this is not a good thing for Villarreal. Moreover, Villarreal's defeat at home is unacceptable, Unai Emery must be
able to find mistakes made by his team. Even Villarreal couldn't get a win in the last 5 matches in La Liga. For Cadiz and Athletic matches I might
miss it, because I prefer top team matches.

Sevilla-Barcelona game was just the first leg of this draw. The second leg is going to be on March 3. In the first game, it seems according to the statistics that Barcelona had a better performance but they were not good at finishing. Sevilla managed to defeat them 2-0 (Kounde, Rakitic). I don't know why in the hell Koeman prefer Messi playing as centre-forward. I think he should play behind the centre-forward. His natural place is there and he can make more contribution by playing like that. Barcelona's job will be really hard in the rematch. But they don't have a too low chance to eliminate Sevilla.

A bit of a familiar story in recent season games but there's always going to be off days in the office. I consider us out of the cup even with the second leg, but I'm happy to be proven wrong. Like you said though, I'm really not sure why Messi who is the chief creator of chances, has to play a forward but I hope Koeman sees for himself it's not the ideal position!

Zidane tries to keep convincing his players that there is still a chance to win the league even though he is still far behind with Atletico Madrid. A win is what Zidane want and at least it will keep him in the capital team longer. Being in second place will not be considered a form of achievement. For the Real Madrid team, I think whoever the coach is the trophy is one of the offering that must be offered if you want to last longer.

Barcelona will play Cadiz on February 21 and I hope they can learn from their previous mistake with the same opponent.

Villarreal lost against Betis in a home match 1-2. They got 4 draws consecutively before this match and they got a surprising loss now. There is a huge decrease in their performance lately. And there is a very tough game waiting for them vs Athletic Bilbao this weekend also. If they don't get a win in that game too, then they will be really weak in their game against Atletico Madrid.

real madrid won and i already expected them to win. Real Madrid have a way of playing that is not very beautiful, but they bring good results and in my opinion this is already good for me

i'm a fan of real madrid, when i play Pro Evolution Soccer I just choose real madrid, juventus, benfica, PSG, Bayern München and Liverpool. they are my favorite teams from each league

Real Madrid got a really nice and easy win against Valencia in this game. Kroos had a nice performance. Now they have 49 points. But still Atletico have a very nice advantage and two games to play. They can still increase the point difference to 11.

I find Bilbao actual position doesn't represent its real potential, unfortunately they are missing many opportunities to advance in the ranking... For tonight I am backing Bilbao to win, even the odds are in their favor.

I am really not sure about this match. In their last match on October, Cadiz defeated Bilbao 1-0 and they even did this in Bilbao's stadium. But there is also a truth that Bilbao played much better in that match. Maybe Bilbao can get revenge against Cadiz this time.

OMG, it is very bad news. Hazard, Militao, and Valverde may have no big impacts but surely without Ramos and Carvajal, the Real Madrid defense will decrease its power. Let's hope they will recover soon and make Real Madrid stronger again. I am sure if Real Madrid will help them to recover as soon as possible. I'm happy, Madrid won again. They deserve it, they dominate the game. They win the ball possession and make more kicks on goal. Even if I am not mistaken, Valencia cannot shoot on goal for 1 hour of the game. Unfortunately Dani Carvajal was injured that night. He has an injury to his right thigh muscle but I think he has just recovered from his injury. Hala Madrid .. !!

Athletic Bilbao have a slightly better form than Cadiz recently. Cadiz lost their last 3 matches and got a draw before that. A. Bilbao got a draw against Valencia the last and lost to Barcelona 2-1 before that. Cadiz defeated Bilbao 1-0 away in this season but it was really a lucky win according to the statistics of the match. I think A. Bilbao won't lose this game and they might take their revenge too.

Sure, mate. It is a crucial match, should get 3 points to keep the motivation for the title.

It indicates that Real Madrid has come back stronger with high motivation to win all remaining matches. I think Zidane already told to all players that they should win every single next match. It is not only about the title but about the reputation of the Real Madrid club and maximal efforts till the end of the season.

Athletic Bilbao is far better than Cadiz. And they prove it again. They won the match by 4-0 against Cadiz. The Cadiz team was not able to attack well enough for to whole 90 minutes. Bilbao is now in 10th position in the points table. I want to see them in 6th or 7th's position o the points table at the end of the season.

Not as fast as we would like. Ramos and Carvajal will not return until April. Ramos underwent surgery and Carvajal was injured again a couple of days ago. Real needs to buy a center-back and right-back this summer.
