Barcelona, aiming to defend their title, unfortunately hasn't had the best performances this season. while, Atletico and Real Madrid, their closest challengers, have been pretty convincing so far. Girona is having their best season yet, but some tough games are coming up for this season dark horse. Can they go all the way against the big boys? Exciting times ahead in La Liga!

Girona current position is the same as Arsenal in the Premier League last season. I am a little pessimistic about Girona consistency because they are competing with big teams such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Yes, Girona are having a great season, but their chances of winning the title race are slim. The defeat to Real Madrid explains why Girona will have difficulty in the title race as they have yet to face Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Bilbao. Girona toughness will be tested when facing these teams, if they are able to perform consistently as shown in the last 13 matches, Girona has the potential to make new history in La Liga.

Sometimes,  when you want to see the best form of football,  you shouldn't look in the direction of big clubs with high-profile players,  but look for small clubs that have young players who are still exploring ways to showcase their talent,  because the bigger boys in the scene won't have any reason to show their talents since their are already made,  but the upcoming one still has all the time to build a name for themselves and for that,  they will continue to display their best skills and working toward records breaking.

So that is why,  when I see the smaller clubs putting up great shows full of enterneamnts in the league,  I am not surprised by that and I know a lot of them will still play to live themselves to be equal with other bigger clubs in the league also,  so the big clubs must be prepared and ready for any possible take over from the small clubs if they fail to defend their records.

The next five games won't be so difficult for Girona , Atletico Bilbao, Valencia and Alaves are not games Girona should be scared to face. I'm just worried about games like Barcelona and Real Betis. They've played Real Madrid and lost so I don't know what's it gon be like when they eventually face Barcelona.

Ending amongst the top four clubs in the Premier League standing would be a dream for Girona but I'm.not sure they could achieve, for it won't be easy to win. They can go ahead to qualify for the UEFA Europa League Competition and the UEFA Conference League Competition.
I'm hoping they don't end like Arsenal last season who failed to win a single trophy during their best season.

I am quite skeptical about Girona’s results, so far they have managed to stay in the lead well, but they had a good game schedule before, among the top teams they only played against Sociedad and Real Madrid and lost points in both matches.

Soon they will have to play with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, I think that these matches can become decisive, because if they also lose points in these matches, they will most likely lose the lead to Real Madrid, but they will be able to remain in the top 4. As long as michel will able to keep the motivation for girona to compete against real madrid and barcelona. I think that upcoming fixtures for girona was nothing. Girona can steal three points from bilbao and valencia. Meanwhile, barcelona will become the strongest opponent in upcoming fixtures.

I think they should have ranked it using Types of goals (pk), assists and also league appearances. None the less; i think the season highest goalscorer is not on the list yet. As you mentioned Bellingham and Griezmann are midfielders and cannot score consistentyly until the end of the season. I think Greizmann can win this; or Morata as  well. But then again; time will tell

I don't agree with you completely, because lewandoski is actually still good, it's was since after the injury his performance dropped a little and moreover it's normal for most players when they comeback from injury they mostly drop a little but with time thwy gradually get better and back on their feet,

Lewandoski is in his late thirties but then we have had players still perform real good even in their thirties. So I think basically the injury has got great impact bon him but with time he may pick up again but it's true the age factor will always show up, Joao Felix is still young 25 can't be considered to be too old yet and I think with him time too is another factor because, when he first came to Barcelona he did showed that he was capable of brilliance so most definitely it's normal just like other players he can't be at his peak all the time but then he is still doing well. It's really sad Barcelona doesn't at this time have the finance to strengthen their front line.

It is kind of surprising because the Barcelona squad is not looking weak, but they don't really play on a high level. There were many close results and the dominance is also missing sometimes. I think Gundogan is also way away from his level that he was showing for Manchester City the whole season 22/23. Barcelona signed these players to get back to their old strength, but instead I believe they have signed two players that are quite old and maybe not the perfect players to rebuild Barcelona from the ground up.
