La Liga is not the same as the Bundesliga or the English Premier League. We have clubs that can handle pressure and those that are simply lucky in winning matches without demonstrating exceptional performance. Losing is an option for clubs that can no longer withstand pressure and convert it into goals. Girona are underappreciated in La Liga, and with all eyes on them, they can pose a serious threat to the Gironistes. Real Madrid and Barcelona can only hope to draw points with Girona; they cannot defeat them because they're in prime form this season.

Yeah I agree Girona can be a threat to anyone but the competition is almost halfway through the season, meaning there are still many games left and Girona's competitors have not yet focused on facing competition in the local league their concentration is divided into European competitions and that is another advantage for Girona but it must be remembered that when the competitors finish in European competitions, Girona must be careful that means the competitors are ready to fight with all their abilities without being burdened with other competitions only focus on the local league.

Girona is threatening any big clubs in la liga right now. No doubt that if people were calling girona as one of strongest contender to win the league. im thinking about girona will able to get the trophy at the end of season.
That's the same story like what leicester did in EPL. Girona being unfavored to win the la liga compared to the barcelona or real madrid but im sure if girona has potential to make it happen.
Girona needs only to be patience with it.

Atletico Madrid are technically doing a little better than Barcelona in the league now. Despite having a missing game to play they have the same points with Barcelona now and they are ahead in the standings as well. That loss against Girona by Barcelona was telling us a lot of things. Barcelona are still inadequate in some ways to maintain their title competition comfortably.

In a couple of weeks Atletico Madrid are also going to face Girona so I'm curious about what will happen in that game as well. I don't feel like Atletico Madrid defense would be as weak as Barcelona's then. But first Simeone needs to deal with Athletic Bilbao away. It will be quite a difficult game for them.

Who could imagine Girona being number one on La League table? To be fair, Barcelona is not doing well under the XAVI management. I don't have a hope that this team will win any major trophies this season, they have very poor results. Guardiola's Barca was one of the best team. To be fair, I miss Luis Enrique too.

By the way, Girona deserves a huge respect to be on higher position than Real Madrid and other top teams. It's curious that they made it and become la league leader but another curiosity is that Girona is part of City Football Group, just like Manchester City. I mean it is not really a shocking fact that Modric is quite old, and he would not have all that much time left here, so why keep playing him all the time when you have the chance to use younger players to give them more time. It's clear that players will not be able to do all that much without anything else, we need to see them do as much as possible and we need to see them have a better approach to it as well. If we focus on just the old  good players then we would never improve any younger generation players.

This is why they prefer players like Jude or Valverde or Camavinga etc etc in order to make sure that they are doing fine in the future as well, those players can play at Real Madrid for another 10+ years, that's what matters. Without them, this team is not all that great and can't be really doing anything that would benefit, if you keep putting in Kroos and Modric then how are you going to be ready for the future? Sometimes there is a club in a league that is usually at the bottom of the standings every season, but in certain seasons as time goes by they suddenly reach a winning trend and they always get it in every game, and it is difficult to stop their enthusiasm. Even last week they managed to beat Barcelona, this was because of their enthusiasm so they consistently won. then the feeling of optimism about becoming champions can be closer to reality, a big dream that a small club has always dreamed of, being able to become league champions, beating the big clubs who have always been favorites to become champions. Girona this season can be said to have that spirit.

In this case, will Girona follow in the footsteps of Leicester who became EPL champions in 2016? Can Girona become a strong challenger to clubs like Barca, Madrid and ATM in the following seasons to become league champions? Madrid and Barcelona should watch Girona, though. Although they may not challenge for the crown this season, their steady rise and possible investment suggest they're in it for the long haul. This slow but consistent progress is how underdogs often turn the tables in coming seasons. If Madrid and Barcelona dont take Girona seriously, they could be in trouble.

This is the first time I’ve heard about this and in fact it’s hard for me to imagine Modric and Messi in the same team. It seems to me that their playing roles overlap greatly and, unlike Messi, Modric, even at his age, does a lot of grunt work, but the most important thing is that he runs and does not wait in pedestrian mode for good opportunities. In the last five matches, Ath Bilbao has not lost any but had two draws, this season Ath Bilbao have been up with more of average performance but their form is fair enough and I think playing again Atl Madrid will be a bit tough for them but they will be able to put up a good resistance against them and may likely get a point from that game.

Ath Bilbaois five points behind Atl Madrid, at the fifth position on the table while ATL Madrid is at the third position with 34 points. Ath Bilbao as recorded this season have been really excellent with home game and this will be the third win at home they will be having against Atl Madrid if they happens to win today's fixture against ATM. The draw against granada was a missed opportunity for the home to to have registered their name amongst the top four but I think they have another opportunity here and a draw will be the worse possible out come.
