Talking about rival, I currently don't see Barcelona as Real Madrid's rival this season, so far they have been able to stay far to the top beyond Barcelona such that it will take Barcelona some good number of wins to be able to meet up with them and I don't think Barcelona Is in such a form that at this point they will be able cover up for the distance already.

Gzkron is more like a threat to Madrid in my analysis, reason been that, Girona seem to be using a very good tactics of winning the weak team to maintaining their top position and drawing the bigger teams to keep balance at the top so it very possible Girona will win their fixtures against all these small teams and later struggle to draw against the bigger rivals , Barcelona and Real Madrid, that way they will be able to attain and maintain some good balance around the top and utilize any chance they see to becoming the champions at the end of the season.

He has still got love for the Madrid team and I'm optimistic he will help the team further scale even greater heights in this season and subsequent seasons to come, so I'm not expecting any less from him and his boys this time having accepted to stay back at Madrid rather than move to Brazil.

I was actually a little surprised to see that he has extended his contract. Because I thought he was going to Brazil as the coach. But I guess he thinks he still has a lot to gain with Real Madrid. That's why he has extended his contract till 2026. Now I think Real Madrid is going to have a good and successful next couple of years as well. I also wonder if he will be able to bring in Mbappe into the squad. If he does, it is definitely going to be insane. Let's see what kind of squad he builds in the next couple of years. One day after the new year 2024 and tomorrow La Liga matches will start again. The opening match was a match between Getafe vs Vallecano and as we know, Getafe is a quite phenomenal team so far. The reason is that they are now in 8th position and even have an impressive record in the last few matches. Meanwhile, Vallecano, which was expected to have the same performance as last season, is actually in 11th position in the standings, this cannot be separated from the bad results they have had so far.

As hosts, Getafe will clearly be the favorite in this match and they must win if they want to overtake Real Betis in the standings.
