Pathetic loss yesterday. The total actual score wasn't even near our bet and I just couldn't get the right word to describe these teams. Moving on, we'll gonna try our luck on NHL today and see if we can bag some sats.  

Pick for November 15, 2019 (FRIDAY)
Game will start on 6:00 PM CST, NHL
Match: Toronto Maple Leafs - Boston Bruins

LOSS - PICK: TAKE the MAPLE LEAFS ML for 6.5 UNITS (1.83 ODDS).

As per our selection on Toronto, we feel that this is a great spot for them to rebound and bust out of their three-game losing streak. They have played well for spurts over those three games, but ultimately fell short in all of them by a single goal. We know the pressure is on them to perform well and you just had the GM come out and publicly say everyone needs to be better and find a way to get back to playing the kind of hockey they are capable of. This is a CRUCIAL spot for them as this is their only home game for the next two weeks as they leave right after the game to begin a 6 game road trip. These two points will set the tone for the road trip and we believe they are more valuable to Toronto than to Boston, who sit atop the Atlantic division. That's not to say Boston is going to want to win the game, but they are dealing with several injury issues with key guys out and outside of the top line with Pastrnak and Marchand, the depth scoring is non existent and the defensive side of the game has also taken a hit. Good spot for Toronto to catch the Bruins coming in with issues and we'll be on them for a nice hockey winner.

Pick for November 16, 2019 (SATURDAY)

Match: Butler Bulldogs - Wofford Terriers

WIN!!! - PICK: TAKE the BULLDOGS -9.5 for 6.4 UNITS (1.86 ODDS).

Wofford hasn't been exposed yet, but they will be. This is one of the more overrated teams in the country right now. And I don't think they are any good at all. Last year they won 30 games, won a game in the NCAA Tournament, and had a banner year for their program. But they lost two all-time program greats and by far their two best players, they lost four of their top six players, and they lost their head coach. This isn't the same team. Prior to last year's breakout, Wofford was just another middling SoCon team. This year they are a lower tier SoCon team. They are punching out of their weight class here. Butler is coming off a supremely disappointing season last year. They are very motivated to bounce back after that losing season and they have looked sharp through the first two weeks. They are coming off a nice win over Minnesota and I think that they have the juice to blow Wofford's doors off. They aren't going to take the Terriers lightly because of Wofford's success last season. But Butler has vastly superior talent and they are shooting the ball really well. They have also been hampered by Kamar Baldwin's injured ribs. He really didn't do much in their first two games. But he is now 100 percent and busted out for 27 points against Minnesota. Baldwin is a stud. And the fact that he is their No. 4 scorer right now speaks well to how everyone else is playing. I don't think that this game will be close.

Match: Philadelphia Eagles - New England Patriots

WIN!!! - PICK: TAKE the PATRIOTS -3.5 for 1.85 UNITS (1.91 ODDS).

Who better to have your money on for a game of the season than the best head coach and best QB in the history of the NFL after an embarrassing loss on a national primetime TV game? Billichick Who are the playmakers here? Wentz is not to his debut form of 2 years ago, Philly is banged up in the secondary. Belichick off a SU loss is 40-12 ATS, 48-27 ATS with revenge (remember Philly beat Pats in the Super Bowl, this is first time the Pats have faced them since). Bear in mind with a week to prep, the Patriots in this position off a loss is too good to pass up, and the defense will step up in this one as Wentz is not all that mobile, where QB Jackson for the Ravens was a killed them extending plays and running. Last 5 weeks the Patriots are 4-1 SU and ATS!

Pick for November 18, 2019 (MONDAY)
Game will start on 6:30 PM CST, NBA
Match: Brooklyn Nets - Indiana Pacers

WIN!!! - PICK: TAKE the INDIANA +3.5 for 2.30 UNITS (1.76 ODDS).

The Pacers are just the better team in this matchup right now. Brooklyn got a lot of attention this offseason for some big moves, but they are being lined like a superstar team right now but Durant will not be here until likely next season. Right now they are just another decent team trying to find their way. Remember, Kyrie Irving never did much to lead his team to big places before he teamed up with LeBron. They have lost three of four coming into this game and they are just 5-7 ATS, which tells us the bookies have them overvalued. Irving is banged up right now but will probably go and LeVert is a key player for Brooklyn who has missed some time. Indiana has been pretty good even while they wait for Oladipo to rejoin the lineup. They have lost two straight coming into this game, but that was at Houston and vs. Milwaukee, and we think they have a much better chance to succeed here against lesser competition. The Pacers are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings and 5-0 ATS the last five meetings in Brooklyn. They tend to play well here, and we see that being the situation again tonight.

Match: Kansas Jayhawks - East Tennessee State Bucs

LOSS - PICK: TAKE the JAYHAWKS -14.5 for 2.10 UNITS (1.85 ODDS).

I think that this game will be a blowout for the Jayhawks. Kansas has one of the best home court advantages in college basketball. They almost never lose at home. They are almost unbeatable in nonconference games at home and ETSU won't be able to get the job done in this one. In their last game, Kansas beat Monmouth 112-57! The Jayhawks are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games and that big home court edge will be on full display in this game for Kansas. East Tennessee State is coming off a close home win over Winthrop. This is a major step up in class for them and I expect them to struggle on both ends of the court. Kansas should dominate the paint. Center Udoka Azubuike is one of the best big men in college basketball. ETSU doesn't have anyone that can challenge him. Over the last two years ETSU has not done well against teams from the bigger conferences. The Buccaneers come from the Southern Conference. When they have played teams from the power conferences they have lost to Kentucky, Xavier, Creighton and Illinois in the last two seasons. This is their first big test of this year against a big-name team. I think it will be another blowout ETSU is just 1-6 ATS in its last seven games and just 1-4 ATS after a win. Go with the Jayhawks in this one.

I see that there's so much interest in NBA. Thanks for providing your feedback and I'll try to provide more NBA content/bet in the future. Just take note that if I don't see any value in the lines available for NBA games, I'll mostly stay away from it and look at other sports. But then again, my priority moving forward is to give you NBA free picks. 

We fell short by just 2 points in our last bet. It's very frustrating because if the winning team just tighten up the defense in the last minute, their opponent wouldn't be able to shoot that 3-pointer and our bet should have won. But, meh, this is gambling and everything is unpredictable. Anyway, we'll move forward to today's games and see if we can grab any value bet with it.

Pick for November 20, 2019 (WEDNESDAY)

Match: Chicago Bulls - Detroit Pistons

LOSS - PICK: TAKE the PISTONS +1.5 for 2.8 UNITS (1.89 ODDS).

It's starting to become must win time for the Detroit Pistons as they have got off to a 4-9 start on the NBA season. Some might consider the Pistons underachieving right now but the fact is they have only been favored in 4 of their first 13 games this season and so they are probably right where they should be overall. I feel this is a talented and underrated group when it's healthy but their health has been the biggest problem early on this season as their best player Blake Griffin has played in only 2 games so far and another one of their top guys in Derrick Rose has been in just 8 of their first 13 contests but both are back and healthy.

The Pistons haven't played since last Friday night as they lost at the buzzer to Charlotte as the Hornets hit a miracle fade away three pointer at the horn to win the game. That means Detroit has had five long days to stew over that heart breaking loss. I expect the Pistons to be focused and ready to go in this one tonight and to play this game with a big sense of urgency. Detroit will also be likely looking for revenge here against this Chicago Bulls squad as they lost to them earlier this month in Chicago in a tight contest decided by 6 points in a game they were without Griffin. Overall the Pistons have the much more talented team between these two and should be focused, rested and motivated in what is a big game for them tonight.

I nearly took a -1.5 bet on Chicago yesterday. But the same with your belief that Detroit is under-achieving and must find ways to win made me think twice. Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin are back too. Not enough to persuade my mind on betting Detroit so I just decided to leave this match and look for the other games. I lost my bet on SAS but I made a profit, thanks to Utah and Miami.

Match: New Mexico State Aggies - New Mexico Lobos

WIN!!! - PICK: TAKE the LOBOS +4.5 for 4 UNITS (1.92 ODDS).

New Mexico got its first real taste of competition on Tuesday after four cupcakes. It didn't go well, with the Lobos losing to an underrated UTEP team in a rivalry game. I think their radar will be up and they should bounce back in this second straight rivalry game. New Mexico has lost five straight to NMSU. That's the Aggies longest winning streak in the series in nearly 70 years. I don't see them winning this game and I think that the wrong team is favored. New Mexico got several transfers eligible this year, including stud JaQuan Lyle. Several of these transfers sat out here last year as well, so chemistry isn't as big of an issue for this group. How much better is this team? Last year's best player, Vance Jackson, is now sixth on the team in scoring and is almost an afterthought. Finally, the last time these two played here was last December. NMSU humiliated New Mexico, 100-65. The Lobos are going to want revenge. And over half the points that were scored by Aggies that day were scored by guys no longer on the team. This Aggies team isn't nearly as good. And this Lobos team is a lot better. New Mexico is going to be focused on this game. And NMSU may also get caught looking ahead to their trip to the Cayman Islands this weekend for next week's holiday tournament. I'll call for the upset from the roadie.

The Heat have shown they are one of the best teams in the East (and maybe the entire league) through the first month of the season. They are 10-3 and have won four in a row heading into this matchup with the Bulls. Jimmy Butler will have a little extra lead in his pencil for this one so look for a great performance from the Miami star. Butler has not had good exits from his last three stops, Chicago being one of them, so this start in South Beach is very promising. He is one of the leagues best two-way players when he is right and he has been just that through thirteen games. This should be an easy win for Miami so go ahead and lay the number.

The Jose Mourinho era at Tottenham will begin on Saturday morning as they travel down the street to face local rivals West Ham United. Tottenham enter Saturday's match in 14th place on 14 points after 12-matches. We like teams right after a manager change, this is a very talented Tottenham side that is 2-1-2 in their last five-matches and on a three-match unbeaten run. Tottenham though have been one of the worst sides in the EPL on the road having not won a League match on the road since January, that is a 12-match run without a League road win with nine losses. Probably a big reason for the manager change. Tottenham though have one win and one draw in their last two away matches overall with a 4-0 win at Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League. Not surprisingly, West Ham find themselves in 16th place on 13 points, just one point behind Tottenham and five points off the drop zone. West Ham are 0-4-1 in their last five-matches losing two in a row, including an ugly 3-0 loss at Burnley. At home, West Ham are on a three-match winless run and 2-2-1 in their last five home matches. This will be the 117th meeting between these two sides, with the visiting team winning the last three in a row and five of the last side. We expect a big performance out of Tottenham on Saturday morning.

The Browns are some of the biggest losers in football. They are pathetic. Baker Mayfield is not good. Freddie Kitchens is an incompetent and is in way over his head. Cleveland is only a disappointment this year if you know absolutely nothing about sports. Anyone that thought this team would be a legit playoff contender was absolutely kidding themselves. However, their offense actually has been a massive disappointment. They are just No. 22 in total yards and No. 25 in scoring, with just 19.2 points per game despite a litany of playmakers at the skill positions. Part of that is, again, incompetence. But there is another factor at play here. Look at the defenses that the Browns have played: Steelers, Bills, Denver, Patriots, Seattle, 49ers, Ravens, Rams and Titans. Those defenses are all legit! They have faced seven of the Top 10 scoring defenses in the NFL. Hell, the Steelers - No. 12 in total yards, No. 9 against the pass and No. 13 in points allowed - were the WORST defense the Browns have faced over the last month. Now Cleveland gets to face a Miami defense that is, frankly, horrible. The Dolphins are No. 29 in total yards, No. 20 against the pass, No. 31 against the rush and No. 31 in points allowed at 30.5 points per game. It's bad. And if the Browns can't threaten 30 points in this game then I don't know what to tell you.

I love the Ravens in this situation. Statistically they are the best team in football. Right now this team is playing great and I think that momentum will continue. The fact that they are favored on the road against a Rams team that won the NFC last year tells me a lot. Baltimore has won six straight games and eight of 10. They are 4-0 ATS in their last four games and all of them have been blowouts. Baltimore has won its last two games over the Bengals and Texans by a combined score of 90-20! The Ravens already went on the road and beat Seattle and the Seahawks have one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. Baltimore is 6-2 ATS in its last eight road games and the Rams are just 3-2 SU at home this year. The Ravens are also the only team to beat New England and that game was a blowout. The Rams offense has really been struggling. This team is just 3-4 SU in their last seven games and have only scored over 30 points one time in their last six games. Injuries have really hurt this Rams team. Los Angeles is just 2-7 ATS in its last nine games on Monday Night Football and the Ravens are 10-4 ATS on MNF. Baltimore is 5-2 ATS in its last seven games against a team with a winning record. I will lay the points in this game and I think that the Ravens will pick up another big win as they try to go for the No. 1 seed and home field advantage in the AFC. Lay the points.

They are scrappy and have been playing above their heads at times so Denver should have little trouble pulling away in this one.

The Lions always seem to play well in New York and have had good success in the post season NIT this century (winning it twice since 2009). They have a dominating win against Georgetown and return 4 starters from their squad from last season. The Rebels are coming off a loss last time out to Memphis, a team that was playing without their all-everything player in James Wiseman. Penn State is 12-2 ATS (2 pushes) in their last 16 games. 76% of the money is coming in on Penn State and they will win this game by 7-9 points.
