I think that this Texas team is a lot better than its record and its ranking suggest. They lost to TCU by just two points, they lost to Oklahoma in four overtimes, and they lost to Iowa State by three points. That's it. They are five points and four overtimes away from being in the playoffs. I know that seems like a stretch. But I really think that this team is legit and that they haven't played their best ball yet. Colorado is fine. But I do think that it is an advantage that Texas got to play a full schedule this year versus Colorado playing just five games. It is also germane that Oklahoma State played in a much better conference. When you dig in and look at Colorado's four wins, they were actually pretty underwhelming. They beat UCLA and Stanford by a combined nine points. They won a game against SDSU that was scheduled at the last minute (and was played at home) and they beat a pathetic Arizona team by not much. I'm not a big Karl Dorrell fan and I just don't think that he has the talent to trade blows with the Longhorns. Texas has had a bunch of defensive players opt out. However, I think that they have adequate depth. And I think that the guys coming off the bench are going to raise their play and that's a reason for them to play hard and get up for this game. Colorado's offense is lackluster. And it is certainly a major step down from what the Longhorns have had to tangle with in the Big 12. On the other side, the Buffs do have a decent defense. But Sam Ehlinger is a top tier college quarterback and this could be his final game. He's an emotional leader for this team and I can see him rallying his guys on that side of the ball. Texas is the better team from a better conference. I think that they are going to be more motivated for this game as well. Throw in the fact that they are playing closer to home and that Tom Herman has something to prove after being welcomed back for another year and I think that this game should be a total blowout.

Match: Phoenix Suns - New Orleans Pelicans

[WIN!!!] - PICK: PHOENIX SUNS -2.5 POINTS for 2 UNITS (1.96 ODDS).

This is a tough stretch for the Pelicans to start the season. Not only do they have difficult teams to deal with but New Orleans has been on an every-other-day schedule to start the year. The Pelicans opened in Toronto, then went to Miami after a day off, then went to New Orleans after a day off, and now are in Phoenix after a day off. Even worse for the Pelicans is they still have to travel to Oklahoma City after this game before four straight at home. This is a lot of movement early in the year to navigate. New Orleans has done a solid job as they are 2-1 straight up but this matchup is a tough one for them. This line says a lot as Phoenix comes into this game after back-to-back games with Sacramento, including a loss. The fact that Phoenix has an early season loss to the Kings and yet they are still favored over a Pelicans team that is considered much better means that Vegas has faith in the Suns. Look for the Suns to take advantage of playing on their home floor and keep the Pelicans at bay for most of this game. New Orleans does have the ability to jump out to an early lead in this one, but the Suns will pull away in the fourth to cover this one-possession line. New Orleans isn't on fire when it comes to the offensive end of the floor as they don't get much help from anyone outside of Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson. The Pelicans bench has been a sore spot as well as the starters always have extra work to do when they re-enter games. This is just a bad spot for New Orleans as we said, as the Suns are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games at home, 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games, and 6-0 ATS in their last six games on a days rest. Lay the small number here.

Match: Wisconsin Badgers - Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Wisconsin has quarterback issues, banged up wide receivers, and running backs that are not explosive. They have a solid defense, but they have yet to face an offense as up-tempo and explosive like Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons are coming off a bad performance against the Cardinals, but that final score is a little misleading (Louisville scored 17 points in the last 17 minutes of that game). Wake Forest is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 bowl games. Wisconsin is 0-6 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games as a favorite. If Wake Forest can take care of the football, they should be able to take this game down to the wire and win it straight-up.

The Bucks got their revenge over the Heat last night in a complete and utter blowout by almost 50 points. But now it's time for the Heat to get some revenge from that horrible loss. The Bucks jumped out to a 20-point lead in the first quarter and were up by 30+ at halftime, and it was garbage time from there on out. But this NBA season is unique and we will see these types of back-to-backs often, and it is hard to beat a team two nights in a row, especially at their own place. The Heat have one of the NBA's best coaches, and he should be able to make adjustments for his team to be more competitive. Milwaukee set an NBA record for made 3-pointers, and they isn't going to happen two nights in a row. Miami is a proud team that was just in the NBA Finals, and we think they will bring their A Game here after that embarrassing result. The Bucks aren't in midseason form right now as they just lost to the Knicks by 20. Jimmy Butler could conceivably be back here for Miami, so that would aid their chances for an outright win. The Bucks are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 visits to Miami.

For this game, you have to ask yourself, yes, no Ja Morant. So, what happens now. The Grizzlies still managed to put up 116 points against the Nets with no Morant though Durant and Kyrie were not playing that game as they were resting on the back to back. I think the Grizzlies put forth great effort here and probably end up covering this game - but we still like the over here. The Grizzlies have lost 9 straight now to the Celtics, this is their first game without the Rookie of the year Morant and it is evident that Anderson, Brooks and Jones will take on the bulk of the scoring. And, who are they? They are guards. Jonas will also help with the scoring with an inside presence too, but this is a Grizzlies team that put up nearly 30 - 3 pointers last game against the Nets. I think with with limited driving power that Morant provided, this team will settle for a ton of jump shots here and consequently this game probably goes over. I also think that Boston coming off a big win against the Pacers with revenge will come a bit flat today and then will make a push in the second half with their respective points and consequently this game goes over.

Match: Dallas Mavericks - Charlotte Hornets

[WIN!!!] - PICK: CHARLOTTE HORNETS +7.5 POINTS for 2 UNITS (1.97 ODDS).

We really like the points in this game. Its not necessarily that we think Charlotte wins this game outright, but we do see this being a very close, one-possession basketball game. Charlotte is scrappy. They are a tough team to play against because they play hard on both ends of the floor, even if they aren't playing well. Dallas comes into this game off their best performance of the season, a 50-point blowout of the Clippers. This is the spot where Dallas lets down a bit and give the Hornets a chance to steal one. The Mavs had to play the Lakers, then the Clippers, and they play the Miami Heat following this game on New Years Day. This is a perfect let down look ahead spot for Charlotte to pounce on. The Hornets have had a few days to prepare for this game as they last played, a win over the Nets, on the 27th. Take the points here as Charlotte is 8-0-1 ATS in their last nine games as an underdog, while the Mavs are 0-4 ATS in their last four games as a favorite.

Match: Orlando Magic - Philadelphia 76ers

[LOSS] - PICK: ORLANDO MAGIC -3.5 POINTS for 2 UNITS (1.95 ODDS).

Orlando will look to continue their historic start when Philadelphia plays a visit. The Magic have won their first four games for the first time in franchise history and are the lone remaining unbeaten team in the league. Orlando's offense has led the way at over 120 PPG which is 5th in the league. This is a good sign coming into tonight with the Magic 17-5 ATS after a combined score of 215 points or more in three straight games. Philadelphia is 3-1, thanks to Joel Embiid who has been dominant, but he'll be matched up against Orlando's Nikola Vucevic, who has the skills to curtail Philly's big man. Until proven otherwise, really hard to back the 76ers away from home as they are 7-19 ATS as a road favorite of six points or less the last three seasons. With the Magic 4-0 SU and ATS when the Sixers hit town, they win outright again.

However, this is a championship contender team that has been one of the best ATS teams in the league the last couple years and this looks like a Get Right game for them. The Raptors have started off the season with games against three straight playoff contenders, and two of those games have been on the road, not in their new home base. The Knicks are a better team this year but this squad still has a long way to go, and they should face up against a very motivated Toronto team tonight. This very much has the look of a double-digit blowout game. The Knicks are 0-7 ATS in the last seven meetings away from the Garden and 2-8 ATS overall in the last 10 meetings.

Phoenix matches up very well with Utah in that both teams are average offensively but solid defensively. The difference for us is that fact that Chris Paul and Devin Booker can impose their will offensively when they need to and they will do just that in this one. Unfortunately for the Jazz Donovan Mitchell isn't shooting the ball well and that will hurt their offensively capabilities versus a very good defensive team like Phoenix. The Suns have yet to give up more than 106 points in a game yet this year as they have really improved their perimeter defense. This will be key in winning this big road game tonight. Phoenix is 8-0 ATS in their last eight games versus a team with a winning percentage of .600 or better while Utah is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record. Take the underdog in this one as the wrong team is favored.

Match: Cincinnati Bearcats - Georgia Bulldogs

This one is going to be a defensive slugfest. Cincinnati is No. 8 in the country in scoring defense. They are allowing just 16 points per game. The Bearcats are No. 13 in total defense, No. 21 in passing defense and No. 20 in rushing defense. Georgia is just as strong on that side of the ball. The Bulldogs are No. 21 in scoring defense. They are allowing just 19.9 points per game. Georgia is No. 15 in total defense and is No. 1 in college football in rushing defense. The Bearcats offense is built on the run and I think that Georgia is going to be able to shut them down in the trenches. Georgia's offense has struggled all season long and they have gone through three different starting quarterbacks. They have been better since J.T. Daniels has gotten healthy. Offense is still not the strong suit for the Bulldogs. Georgia has gone 'over' in six of their last seven games. Cincinnati has gone 'over' in four of their last five games. That is why this total is higher than it should be. I had this total around 46.5 and there is a lot of value in this number. Cincinnati wants to prove that it can play with any of the top teams from the SEC and that the Bearcats should've been considered for the college playoffs. The Bulldogs have gone 'under' in five of their last six bowl games and the 'under' is 5-2 in Georgia's last seven games on a neutral site. The 'under' is 5-2 in Cincinnati's last seven nonconference games and the 'under' is 11-5 when the Bearcats face a team with a winning record. These are two great defenses and two teams that have their offense built around running the ball. I think that this is going to be a low-scoring game between these two teams and I can see Georgia pulling away to win this one 27-13. I don't see a high-scoring game and I don't think that this one is going to go over the total or even come close. Take the 'under'.

As for Ohio St, they have struggled a bit in the spot they are in here on Friday night as they have gone just 2-5 ATS in their last seven following a straight up win and they have failed to cover the number in five of their last six games where they faced a team from the ACC. They have also had their issues against the number of late when facing a team with a winning record, going 0-4 ATS in their last four in that spot. Throw in the fact that Buckeye QB Justin Fields struggled in two of his last two games, throwing five picks versus Indiana and Northwestern along with the fact that Clemson is 4-0 SU and ATS in four post-season meetings against Ohio St and we're laying the points here with the Tigers in a game that our numbers have them winning by double-digits in New Orleans on Friday night.

It's hard to justify when a team lost by so many points like they did to Dallas, but this Clippers team is playing as good of basketball as any team in the NBA. They have had one of the toughest schedules in the NBA to start off the season, but they have won their games very comfortably. They have covered all their games except of course that Dallas loss. Utah is on a back-to-back here and they didn't play well against the Suns last night. This team has covered only one game so far, and the Jazz are notorious for their slow starts. LA is playing with a chip on their shoulders and they look to prove all the doubters wrong that criticized them after last season's flameout. We think they take care of business again tonight.

We have been all about the Suns thus far this season and we aren't stopping now. Even on the back-to-back we feel that we are getting the better team plus the points. The Nuggets will be without Michael Porter Jr. tonight due to contact tracing and that is an issue when playing a good team like Phoenix. The Suns are still not getting the love that they deserve. Playing a back-to-back isn't easy, and playing in Denver for the second game of a back-to-back is even worse, but we STILL really like the Suns. Phoenix has a deep team. They have a very, very good bench and that will be the key in this matchup. Denver does everything through Jokic as he leads the team in every significant category. They need more from their other key players, and again, not having Porter Jr. is big here. When Denver rests Jokic they won't have enough to keep pace with Phoenix. Playing on a team in a back-to-back spot, especially in Denver isn't something that people like to do, but this Suns team will get the job done yet again.

Match: Kentucky Wildcats - North Carolina State Wolfpack

I know the Kentucky Wildcats won their last SEC game but that game was at home and against South Carolina. Kentucky comes into this bowl game dropping 4 out of their last 6 games and their offense at times is M.I.A. The Wolfpack of NC State comes to the Gator Bowl winners of 4-Straight and 7 out 9 and their only two losses were against Florida St and Miami. With Kentucky 1-4 this year against ranked teams and struggled to score touchdowns I see the Wolfpack controlling the both sides of the ball and the Wolfpack win the Gator Bowl. NC State is 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 bowl games and the Wolfpack are 4-1 ATS against a team with a losing record.

Match: Iowa State Cyclones - Oregon Ducks

The Big 12 Conference has flexed it's muscle in bowl play this year as they are a perfect 3-0 as of this writing. The Iowa State Cyclones played in the Big 12 title game but they couldn't overcome a -3 turnover margin in the game and an early 17 point deficit, losing by 6 points to what is currently a red hot Oklahoma Sooners team. The Cyclones did beat the Sooners earlier in the year and their lone regular season conference loss was by just 3 points on the road to Oklahoma State.

The Oregon Ducks caught a break to end up in the Pac 12 title game this year. The Ducks took advantage of 3 USC turnovers to win 31-24 over the Trojans. USC out-gained the Ducks by more than 100+ yards in the contest. Oregon had two regular season losses to teams with a combined 3-8 record this season. Overall I think ISU has the edges all over the field including with coaching combined with the fact the Big 12 was a much better league this year than the Pac-12.

The Cyclones should be fired up for this game especially after losing a close Big 12 title game last time out. Lay the points with Iowa State in this one.

I see you are betting mostly 2 units or 4 units lately. Would you say that 4 units represent high stake for you or do you bet bigger amounts sometimes? 2 units seem to be regular stake for you. Would like a bit of extra info on that part since it shows how certain you are the pick is good.

Yes, you are correct, I mostly bet with 2 units only. That's my base amount of bet in the games that play. I do 4 units when I feel that this play is much stronger because of the research that I did or if I lose the previous bets. You can say that this is somehow a Martingale bet but not entirely because it all boils down on what I feel on that game and what data that is available to me. Oh, I also bet 1 unit only when I feel that I'm on a losing streak.

My advise is bet according to your gameplan. It all depends on you and you can base the amount of money that you'll gonna bet on the rationale that I provide on every play.

As for today, I got 2 games that are already lined up. 1 for Italy Serie A and 1 for NFL. Here are my picks: Juventus -1 Goal and New Orleans Saints -6.5 points. Match: Philadelphia 76ers - Charlotte Hornets

This is a great spot for a higher than expected scoring game. Charlotte comes into this game on the second game of a back-to-back, and they will be looking to make amends for a poor offensive showing. The 76ers are going to push the pace faster than this total suggests as they know they can take advantage of mismatches both in transition and in the half court. Philly is definitely one of the better defensive teams in the league but they will not play with the same aggression on the defensive end of the floor as they know it won't take their best defensive effort to win this game. The 76ers also know that they get the same Charlotte team for their next game so they can make any defensive adjustments for Game 2. The 76ers have yet to go over a posted total this season, but they are 14-5 against the total in their last 19 games at home. The Hornets have been a trendy 'under' play this season as well, four straight unders, but they are 4-0 against the total in their last four games against a team with a winning record, and 4-1 against the total in their last five games playing on zero days rest.

I'll be posting the rationale behind my picks later. I provided the picks to you today earlier than usual so that you can already bet on them if you feel it.  

I already have way too much money riding on Juve game so I am not adding any more Glad you think the same, I would have felt even better about this game if more big clubs lost points in Italy today. Most of them won (Atalanta, Inter, Napoli, Milan) and only Lazio dropped points. I like betting on favorites more when there is a lot of surprises during the day. I opted for simple match line Juve to win @1.55

I will give a try for your other tip later tonight when I play my evening/night ticket.
