I don't think there is better place in crypto for 30$ investment - innovative coin and 264% apy I'm sure that 8% APY is not worth the risk for 300 000$ locked in stake. This system promote small investors.

IIP-5 doesn't seem to have really been activated, while we are still waiting for September 9 to activate the hard fork if it doesn't meet the requirements it will be blocked

network size to 9905 is now decreasing all the time, this doesn't sound good IIP-5 doesn't seem to have a good influence on IDENA's development either, it's getting worse considering the sluggish crypto market lately, is it possible that IDENA will survive and I'm sure the next validation will drop below 7k validated nodes

IIP-5 doesn't seem to have really been activated, while we are still waiting for September 9 to activate the hard fork if it doesn't meet the requirements it will be blocked

It was activated 29th of August. "The hard fork update has been successfully activated at the block number 4871136"

And starting from block 4871136 my node started to yell much better returns.

It sound great. IIP-5 is doing exacly what it was ment to do. Reduce farms (network abusers) and build incentive for solo mining and investing (decentralization and long term value).

Its not good when people start leaving because it lowers the value of project and the fact that you have more coins means nothing because their value goes down. But its not what we see now. After IIP-5 solo miners have much bigger incentive to mine. farmers are leaving who were abusing the network for last year or two. People who were getting coins giving nothing in return. I wish to see 7000 nodes or less after validation. Not because i'll be able to mine 10% more coins but because it will prove that IIP-5 worked as farm killer.

Unfortunately IIP-5 also didn't succeed in increasing the price of IDENA itself, that's what made people leave this project slowly, therefore I prefer to keep it as my investment in my wallet without having to think about the value, but I hope the leader of IDENA can carry out marketing them immediately to attract the interest of new people

It should continue to go down with next validations because farm profitability will be inversely correlated to total staked IDNA. Even if now few farms are still profitable (mostly old farms with old nodes with ~500 earned IDNA in stake) they may not be if TVL will double. So far TVL is booming:

a lot of people kill their accounts and restart from scratch to create a smaller pool and profit from it using stakes instead of forming a large pool which is not profitable now to pay people I also see a lot of new end users this is asking for invite code , my hope now is to get more IDENA to hold taking advantage of decreasing validated users

This idea seems interesting.. we need a worthy consensus to be alternative to POW, Even POS seems to not fully scalable. I feel POP can be a good alternative.

maybe you can read more of this unique project through their whitepaper, because this project will be big in the future with a different POP concept from other crypto projects

The bear market made the value of idena decline even more validated users terminated their accounts, just waiting for the big campaign that idena needed to do about profits on this IIP-5 so many investors were interested and came to this project, but the devs are still poor in funds to campaigns and promotions

Its not the bear market. idena price is going down for last 2 years because of lack of marketing and farmers. Idnena is only 1.8 mln marketcap. 1000$ investment push it by 10%. +-30-50% price moves are random here. -20% in last few weeks is random.

And number of nodes is declining mostly because of farmers slowly quitting. It was never as profitable to mine as its now for solo miners. Maybe for short period in 2020 during 500-3000 sat pump.

now it's 20 days to be honest it's very annoying if validation is on saturday, usually that day coincides with very busy activities with family so sometimes have to share time to do validation, happy if validation day falls on weekdays not on weekends, I hope it will decrease as the pool starts to gradually go away and sell their IDNA so that when it runs out I'm sure the price will go up as well

when the price of IDENA is getting worse day by day we all the community are shocked by a news from the official IDENA telegram channel which in my opinion is not important or it could be a signal of a surprise for the IDENA community, but why did the developer give a signal   !

Waiting for a change in the system that is really constructive, the idea that is made looks like it will hurt someone, but if the goal is to increase the price of idena, I totally agree with the idea, if we look at today with the price of Idena which continues to fall, I will take this idea for me to try it, at least reduce the players and ease my work in taking care of making Flip..
