Sadly I was away from my computer during the last validation period because of that I have failed the verification. Can I re-apply to get verified using the same address or I will have to use a different address this time.
Thanks
No matter what happens you keep the same address (public key for transfers/priv key) If you were candidate or newbie than you need another invitation to be able to take part in validation (to become miner). Always, if you are not sure what you are supposed to do, check your current task. Thank you very much for the infographics that really helped me. I was trying to do get an invitation from the flip school but, suddenly a random guy asked if I need an invitation code would it be safe to use that invitation code? Or should I get them from flip school? The problem is the issuer can revoke or cancel your identity/invitation up to a certain point. Someone else on here can probably explain it better, but I think if that happens you would lose the coins that you had locked after validation.

Yes but ... total reward from single invitation if your invitee become verified (3 epoch old), during last epoch was 33 + 98 + 198 = 329 iDNA - if you terminate the node you invited that is how much coins you are resigning off. New node during 3 epochs will mine 388 coin and will get around 100 coins for validation = 488 coins. And he will loss 80% of that = 390 coins My loss is quite the same as person i've terminated. So it's more like an extreme case scenario when someone terminates a node that he invited. It's not something that is commonly used for fun. And it is suggested in FAQ to take invitation from someone you trust. Most often a quick talk is enough to know if you are talking with normal person or crazy bustard that wants to loss 330 coins to make you loss 390.

Just got the validation key on the telegram hopefully this time I will not fail the verification. Also, this time I think I will add the validation date as an event so that I don't miss it lol.

Who can give me an invite? I raised the node on a VPS, synced it, and passed the flip school. I would be very grateful. I will not let you down, I am serious.

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

Check https://idena.site/Here you can monitor your node, and you'll find all the info you need. Price and earnings per day (scroll down).

Daily profit is around 8.25 iDNA and the requirement for running a iDNA node is around this: Processor: 64-bit, 1 core (2 cores recomended) Memory: 2GB Hard disk: 100GB Internet connection: Flat internet tariff, more than 600GB of monthly traffic A typical $5 VPS would do the job. Having a stable 24/7 remoted node for iDNA is worth the money, I think.

I use a VPS with: 1 Cores 2 GB RAM DDoS Protection 20 GB SSD Cloud Storage 24/7/365 Tech Support
All this for 3.65EUR/month (VAT included) and is running just fine for Idena node. DigitalOcean and Vultr are just too expensive in my opinion at $10 + VAT, just because they can rape you.

Which Hosting provider is this ? i had some Azure credit lying around , so i hosted in azure . But 600GB bandwidth will be too much in Azure. Guess i need to switch to your provider's VPS.

Don't go for the international VPS host like Vultr or DigitalOcean since they're very expensive. Try to look at your local VPS in your country since they usually offer a much better deal in terms of pricing. Some may allow you to opt out SSD to the HDD storage to suit your need, in this case, 100GB for iDNA node. See, some in this thread gave you a few suggestions already.

This is true, not long ago I found out that local providers are way more cheap than the international providers like VULTR or DIGITAL OCEAN. I paid a lot of money to them for the same services.

I did not know you needed 100GB storage. I am running it with 25GB and its not half full. Are you sure you need 100gb?

Currently after running the node for 10 days in VPS , The HDD usage is just less than 2GB and the Bandwidth is around 90-100GB. I guess as more node's comes in, this value will grow exponentially . So plan accordingly.

True that the bandwidth will grow alongside the network growth but I am sure that the devs will come up with a solution to this issue.
