Thanks for the updates about this hard fork good to know that there's an increased of flip rewards and also a lot of improvements of the Idena. Didn't know that you'll be having a hard fork good thing I checked it and activated my miner on my vps.

I'm looking forward to the next validation and to see the increase in rewards, for us here, the validation is very important because it's additional coins and it's a guaranty that we can continue to mine, people should continue mining there will come a time when mining rewards will be lesser than what we are getting today.

Community dev is making this app. It is already in BETA. You can download it from GitHub and use for next validation (but on your own risk).

another 12 h to wait..  Next validation epoch will be there.. All  update your  node and client to up-to-date version.. Do that at least 5 hours before as last 30 minutes sometimes its too slow.

I am very wary of the new system of reward for the complexity of flips (x8), many (especially beginners) will want to receive this bonus, so the number of difficult (completely) understandable flips will increase greatly. and with the limitation of the number of reports, this can greatly affect the quality of decisions in a short session.

Today I tried to pass validation on my smartphone via a new mobile client for Idena but haven't succeeded - flips didn't load. Hope that in next validation this bug will be solved. Meanwhile overall network growth is 13.5%.

I run 2 nodes and I had to connect them all to ethernet cable instead of wi-fi. It seems it's not enough to feed them with data or maybe the wi-fi is too weak?
Anyway... today's validation went ok again for me, I hope majority of Idena users had similar experience.

Anyone have any idea how to install Idena on different DISK than Default (C:)? Linkin the folder does not work and the installation does not ask if we want to change it.

The Idena consists of 2 components, Idena App (client) and node. Node's folder grow over time and if you have trouble with free space on C: you can run node externaly and run it with parameter --datadir="D:\something\node\datadir"

We have channel on discord for my_idena. There I have seen that some people have done last validation and one before succesfully, only thing that was buggy is:
"Neotame: Ok, i finished, same problem with loading flips on start but quick reloding of the app fixed the problem

If I was you, I would rather consider installing AnyDesk on both smartphone and PC where you have idena and do validation that way.
Also, we are eagarly waiting for a web client from idena developers, it's in active development. Not sure, but maybe we get some working version before next validation.

I would not risk it if I were you, there are very big problems when validation takes place using a computer. Moreover, it is not clear how the Internet will work there, so it is better to either skip one validation, or pass it to another. Just as an option, you can use your mobile phone as a modem, and use it as a modem to your laptop, so it will be more reliable.

Well the thing is that I don't have a Laptop, I use a desktop at home. I won't skip the validation, but looks like that my trip will be shorter by 1 day.

Tbh, the only channels I keep watching on Discord are #announcements and #updates since there are too many channels to keep the eye on, and I don't have the time to do so.

Anyways I think I will not risk and return at home early from my fishing trip, like I said above.

Idena team today released new proposal plan for open-sourced marketing activities to make the Idena marketing more decentralized, and this will be interesting to see how it works out in reality.
