Onana made a big blunder today during his match with Cameroon. Not really good for his market value if he makes more mistakes like this. Cameroon is certainly one of the contenders for a medal of honor, but it is all pretty close to each other in the top. Senegal should certainly not be smoothed out with Mane from Liverpool. I knew that It was only a matter of time before Cape Verde gets a goal after that red card against Ethiopia's Yared Baye in the first few minutes of play. A really terrible way for Ethiopia to start this competition, hopefully they can improve play before they play the host Cameron next. So far in the competition, we have see penalties, rough tackles and even red cards from the first and second game, i hope it doesn't turn out to be a rough competition that will have players afterwards returning to their respective club teams with injury challenges.

So the AFCON officially kicked off yesterday and it was an interesting match to watch as the host emerge victories. I noticed something on the ad board and had to go to the binance exchange, official twitter page to confirm this sponsorships. Heard rumors before the tournament started that Binance are getting involved after some Nigerian celebraties got endorsement deals from the exchange but I wasn't sure. This is a very smart move from Binance, not only has Binance given more awareness to the industry. Atleast those who has heard about cryptocurency can get a second thought to go research again as this sponsorship is definitely getting the attention of the Africans as well, bring more users to the binance exchange. Very smart move to be honest.

Oh yes, the Senegal versus Zimbabwe match is going to be a walk in the park for the Lions of Teranga. In AFCON 2017, Senegal beat  Zimbabwe by 2 goals. In fact they have always emerged the winners in any match with Zimbabwe. Morocco is a formidable team, however, I'll place my bet on Ghana. The first half will be tough as the team will try to balance each other out but the real game starts in the second half. My prediction for this game is a 2 -1.

For some reason, it seems to me that despite the moderate odds (1.4), Senegal should win 4-0 or something like that. Maybe I'll bet on their victory with a -2 handicap.
Guinea vs Malawi - 2:0 but this is a random match and it is dangerous to bet here
Morocco vs Ghana - competitive match, probably Morocco wins 1-0
Comoros vs Gabon - like the second match on the list, it is random and I will refrain from betting here.

For Morocco vs Ghana I think these are some of the best teams taking part in this tournament so the most likely result will be a draw here if the teams play carefully.If they play open football (highly unlikely) betting for both teams to score is the best choice.

I agree it's very likely for Senegal to win and it's tricky to bet on the handicap for now since it's the opening match so basically, anything goes.

I seriously was expecting Senegal to be in front in terms of goals by now with the likes of Mane in play, Zimbabwe seem to be holding them down properly, the Zimbabwean team simply need to be more bold and take the defence of the Senegalese side head on, take chances, their safe hand Mendy is not in play, goals should be able to come. In front of goal, Senegal has not really impressed, they have wasted too many opportunities, if they don't win they will definitely regret.

From yesterday's fixtures, we saw enough goals, i hope today's fixtures are not short of excitement and expectations.

Zimbabwe had luck the entire match and they were defending pretty well against a really poor team today of Senegal. But Senegal was able to win this match from a penalty in the 96th minute and a tragic moment for Zimbabwe players and they just had to hold for 1 more minute to get a draw.

So sorry for the Zimbabwean team, i didn't expect so much from them, they were so close to getting a point at least from this game. On the other hand, is this the Senegalese team that some voted to win this year's AFCON? because i doubt that they will be able to do well against a better team if they rely on penalties to win games. The tournament is just starting, lucky win for them.... However of they decide not to improve and utilize more of their opportunities in front of goal, i don't see the Senegalese team getting to the finals of this competition.
