I think Cameroon can win the game tonight at a very good odd of 1.85 up until now.Even in the game against Egypt Cameroon dominated in statistics both in attack,ball possession and corner kicks.Egypt got what they wanted as they defended and brought the game to penalty kicks from which they were much better than Cameroon,however during the normal game play Cameroon was much better.

I think Burkina Faso does not play as defensively as Egypt did and I think if you don't play defensively Cameroon is the team which scored a lot of goals in this tournament although against weaker opponents so far.

Honestly I agree with you but wondering why odds for Cameroon @1.85 it should be if it is an easy match the odds are not more than @1.6
Aren't you suspicious? maybe the market predicts the two teams will draw and then decide on a penalty shootout?
Anyway I will wait for the match to run before deciding to bet

The odds issued by the bookie tonight are very tempting to bet on Cameroon, I think this game will be very loose and Burkina Faso will not play defensively like in previous matches and very profitable for Cameroon. and it is possible for Cameroon can make a lot of gool.

I was very busy to post recently, but I am back now. This is what we have been expecting, that likely Egypt and Senegal will play the final, but Cameroon team confused us too, that likely they might win Egypt, but the country has been favorey ever since the start of AFCON as they play with small country teams. The match was tough and no goal all through but Egypt won with penalty. I too believe that Cameroon will take its third place today but anything can happen as this is also like gambling, even the lowest odd still have the chance of winning.

My guess was that Nigeria would make it to the finals. But unfortunately they lost to Tunisia in the Round of 16. There were three good teams in the tournament after Nigeria. Senegal, Cameroon and Egypt. Egypt reached the final by defeating Cameroon.
Cameroon will face Burkina Faso for third place. I don't think the Burkina team is strong. This is an easy win for Cameron. My prediction will be that Cameroon will win 2-0 today.

this will not be too easy i guess. Victory may belong to Cameroon but on the other hand Burkina Faso will also definitely make a surprise here although indeed they are in the title race is also a surprise but surely they will be all out now.

You are a little different when most of us favor Egypt you instead favor Senegal but ok we are free to predict  no one knows who the winner is
What you describe is quite reasonable Senegal only had a chance in 90 minutes if it goes into extra time or a penalty then Egypt chances will be greater
from what we saw Egypt won in the last 2 matches through extra time and penalties.

How can the Egyptian side that have won the AFCON cup many times and had more experience at the final stages before be the underdog to Senegal that have never won it. It is an open game, most including myself never saw Egypt getting pass the host Cameroon, but they did with some general tactics and by dragging the game to penalties (which they are very good at), who is to say that they won't do the same in this final game against Senegal. Sadio Mane and his teammates will have to outplay the Egyptians and try to score first, to avoid penalties prolly. The Senegalese tram have had an extra day to rest prior to the final, so their energy levels will be up.

Well, your reasons are quite reasonable and I also know that they are indeed very favored but on the other hand when this tournament took place the performance was not too good at the beginning so many people thought that indeed they would not be able to do much here but again they made a breakthrough and finally got to the finals.
but still i still feel senegal will still be seeded now even though they have never tasted the title before but on the other hand their current performance is still quite good compared to egypt

Yea, indeed. I think so too, 1.85 seem like good odds for a win of Cameroon. Normally games for the 3rd rank are less serious and more open which should play in favor of Cameroon. I don't think that they want to leave their home tournament with a loss. Cameroon is clearly the stronger team, I'd guess a 2-1 or 3-1 for the game tonight.

Just as some predict Cameroon will win because at the beginning Cameroon is expected to go to the final  but look what happened in half time 2-0 for Burkina Faso
Actually I'm not sure Cameroon wants to miss 3rd place but what I see is completely different Cameroon doesn't play as usual without dangerous attacks, I don't believe in this match looks like planned, I hope I'm wrong.

What a surprise in today's 3rd place match between Burkina Faso and Cameroon. Just in 1st half of the match, Burkina Faso is leading with 2-0. Who would ever believe this kind of humiliation given to the hosting country of AFCON? Cameroon players are not playing like they wanna win the match. They lack the zeal and statistics. Many people thought that the match between Burkina Faso and Cameroon would be one-sided and that Cameroon would easily win. The match is really one-sided. But the match is being dominated by the players of Burkina. Cameroon were far ahead in ball possession but they could not score a goal. Burkina Faso are now 3-0 up. Cameroon will not be able to win this match anymore. I didn't think Burkina would do such a great job.

Now you understand why you should not bet on matches where teams have no motivation? I hope you bet an insignificant amount as there are 30 minutes left in the match and Cameroon is losing 0-3. It is extremely unlikely that they will be able to recoup (even if they want to).

Normally Cameroon was favorite but they don't care about this match after they lost in semi final, it's not important to finish third or fourth for them so they play with reserve players. Burkina Faso scored three goals already, they will for sure finish the tournament in third place. If I knew it I'd play for them for high odds though. I don't blame Cameroon players and manager, they could get the cup but that semi final game had devastating ending. Congrats to Burkina Faso though, nobody expected them to reach out to semi final and now they are finishing with bronze medal.

I guess Cameroon played themselves by not starting both of their best players in the tournament, and by half time more than enough damage had been already done, physically and mentally, after conceding both goals, I knew there was nothing else that could be done for them, it will just be a case of minimizing the damage, but that didn't happen either as Burkina Faso scored the 3rd goal. Too bad to see how the tournament has turned out for them in the space of 2 fixtures, after having a really bright start to the campaign.

Firstly I would say Cameroon spirit was cut short bec6 they taught they would be playing in the finals, Many teams don't actually take the 3rd place match seriously anymore, so Cameroon didn't have the inspiration, I honestly feel they should be there instead of Egypt, the apply more pressure but Egypt was able to counter everyone of them, regardless they dropped and had to settle for a 3rd place game with Burkina Faso who are delighted to even have a chance to reach the semi finals, so am not surprised they are winning Cameroon.

I don't know exactly what they are in their mind. Their next game will be in March vs Algeria so I don't see why they did this. I could say maybe they underestimated Burkina Faso or their families and friends placed a bet against them
Anyway, it is 3-1 right now with 15 minutes left approximately.

I was shock like Etoo should be. It is not that Cameroon suffered all in vain. With the force that they were coming with they are supposed to take the third place for consolation. But everything did not go well. I believe the boys and the whole country is demoralized and sad, especially Etoo. This would have been the early achievement of his administration.
