Senegal have defeated Burkina Faso by a decent score and started waiting for their opponent in the final stage. And the remaining game of the semi finals is between Cameroon and Egypt tonight. I feel like that we will watch a really tough game here and Egypt won't give up until the last moment. They haven't come to this level by surprise. They really earned it by eliminating serious opponents in the previous rounds. So I think that they deserve the final as much as Cameroon.

Senegal picked the best opponent for them and made an easy qualification to finals. They scored three goals without too much trouble, Burkina Faso wasn't a threat to them in whole game. Burkina Faso already made big achievement by advancing semi finals, but playing in final would be the real dream for them. Senegal will play in finals second time in a row, if they don't win it this time that would be very heartbreaking. Both Cameroon and Egypt have great squads so final game will be pretty exciting for us. I expect Cameroon but if Egypt made it into the finals I won't be surprised.

Yesterday we saw the best match from the start of this competition between senegal vs borkina faso. We expected to see more acquisition and more clear chances for senegal that has low odds in all the betting sites but it wasn't the case borkina fasi had the same chances to win the match yesterday and very dangerous chances to score as well. Also bookmakers usually put a slight favor for the home side since they have home field advantage. If they are allowing supporters into the stadium at full capacity I can see this advantage being on the side of the home team Cameroon.

I only watch Egypt one time when they played my country Nigeria and we won them. They did not play well in that match or we can talk that Nigeria played more than them that is why it looked like they did not play well. Since them I don't follow them again. I am supreme they reach semi finals.

Very true, and let also get it right, Cameroon has been facing lesser nations compared the what others had to play right from the group stages. They were given this privilege because of been the host nation and this gave them advantage also as they were always among the first teams to qualify to the next stage. Home advantage, fans singing and giving you more energy, all this can make a team perform more than they usually do and as they progress they get more energy to put into their play.

If for some reason Egypt out play Cameroon then for me, that'll be the greatest disappointment in this tournament, Cameroon deserve to play the final atleast, winning it is what I'm not certain about. Egypt getting to the semi final is a surprise for me, isn't it the same Egypt that got outplayed by Nigerian. It's a disappointment we (Nigeria) went out so early in the tournament. If Egypt will play attacking in this match then they will definitely be defeated. Cameroon is a very good team. They have played great in the past matches. They have scored 11 goals in the last 5 matches. They have scored in every match. On the other hand, Egypt has scored only 4 goals in the last 5 matches. It is easy to assume that the Egyptian team is having a lot of problems to score a goal. So Egypt will want to draw the match goalless for 90 minutes. And want to lead up to the penalty shootout.

I agree with you, a key factor unlocking the possibility of Egypt winning is in their ability to be able to defend properly and make good use of any opportunity they create in front. In front of goal, Cameroon has options in the likes of Aboubakar and Ekambi, who will be looking to score more goals today. Egypt on the other hand has only Salah, i fear his performance today alone may not be enough to make a difference.

Cameroon has a more agressive playstyle and Senegal would probably try to adopt the same strategy against them, what is a big mistake, because they don't have enough conditions to play at same skills' level. However, against Egypt it may work, as skills' level is similar and an offensive strategy may be able to break egyptian defensive lines without much prejudice to their own defense, just like Senegal did with Burkina Faso.

30 minutes of match time has over, but no team has scored yet. I don't see any goal-scoring mentality in any team. Cameroon made 3 shots and Egypt made 2 shots in 30 minutes. Neither team has been able to make a good attack yet. Both teams are probably considering scoring from the counter attack. My guess is, neither team will score in the first half. Will play defensive. They will try to score in the second half. And if a team can score a goal, they will try to win the match by playing defensive again.

I won't say its exactly dull but, both teams are taking there time to ensure there isn’t a loophole on any side of the game that could be very costly on the team.
