Tonight the final. Normally I don't follow those matches, but for the final I sit down for a while. Can fall either way. I think that both sides have a certain gun factor. Salah or Mane? I'll give it to both. Senegal is perhaps a little more known as an underdog because of its small history. Senegal has only really taken off in recent years. We did not seen to much from both stars this tournament.

Incredible ending in yesterday's match (which I missed because I went to bed after the score was 3-1). I remember that with the score 3-0, the odds of Burkina Faso winning were 1.01. So for the victory of Cameroon they were 30 or more (I did not watch them so this is just an assumption). I wonder if anyone has made such a bet?

Yesterday though I bet for Cameroon’s win. But I would say that Cameroon's victory was very unexpected. Cameroon were trailing 3-0 until the 70th minute of the match. I thought maybe I would lose the bet. But Cameron came back in a great truck. They scored 3 goals in just 20 minutes. Vincent Abubaker played brilliantly, he scored two goals. It was one of the most enjoyable and competitive matches of the AFCON this season. The performance of both the teams was remarkable.

I did not believe what I watched yesterday! Its really unbelievable that a team that is 3nil up in the 70th minute can throw away such a huge lead just like that. And for me i was so unfortunate that I did try a big bet on Burkina faso thinking it was impossible for a comeback and Cameroon did the unthinkable... I guess thats what football is all about, hope its not a case of match fixing.

I wished Cameroon played like this against Egypt they would have been in the finals. True, Cameroon have proved indomitable for Burkina Faso. Twice they met in this tournament and twice the Indomitable lions proved superior. Although I didn't see them playing to equalise or even to win on penalties because they were very poor on penalties against Egypt. They rediscovered their confidence after the introduction of  Vincent Aboubakar. His inclusion in the game brought the changes. Two goals to give them hope of silverware. He was instrumental in their comeback, no doubt. I think he deserves the Player of the tournament without any doubt, He has paid his dues.

It is nice to know that Mane will face Salah. The absolute superstars of African football facing each other in the final. As Klopp said, it is not going to be easy for him because one of the guys will be extremely happy and the other of the two guys will be extremely sad. He is right, indeed!

The finale is about to begin... Bookmakers favour Senegal (2,3) against Egypt (4,4)... Usually such important matches are played without many goals... I think Senegal will win with a small score or it could even be a penalty shootout! The main opposition will be Liverpool's attacking strikers - Mane vs Sallah! Senegal of course have more stars than Egypt...

Sorry you missed the most interesting match of the tournament unless Mo Salad and Mane have something cooking for us in the finals. I wish the both score, they haven't scored that much as I expected in this tournament. Just did some research and just discovered neither of them have won an international trophy with their nation. That's too sad, tonight one take home the AFCON title. Mo Salah needs it for his personally glory as this could give him more votes for world best if he was to lift it and the champion league couple with how impressive he's playing lately.

Mane needs it for his country as they have struggle countless times but haven't been able to win. That's tough to choose after this recent knowledge. They both deserve the AFCON title. But I still place my bet on Senegal. After this AFCON final Egypt and Senegal face off again for the world cup qualifiers.

I see Senegal closer to the trophy but the difference is not that much. As you can see from odds Senegal is slightly favorite.
I know Diedhiou from Alanyaspor, he's a good striker. Gueye, Mane and Sarr play behind him, everybody know these players' quality. Besides Salah Egypt don't have great attacking options. Mostafa Mohamed is mediocre player. I guess small differences will determine the outcome.

We saw salah talks to gabaski because him and sadio mane play for the same team. Well gabaski catched the penalty and this can effect senegal team in a bad way and gives egypt more hope to score and get their 8th trophy

Senegal started the game with force but Mane missed a penalty which might impact the team psychologically. Egypt wasn't threatening Senegal yet and penalties seems to be possible with Egypt having such goalkeeper. Senegal has to avoid this scenario if they want the title tonight!

The odds of Egypt winning seem tempting, that's why you loved Egypt, didn't I?.
Senegal could have progressed if they had taken advantage of a penalty kick, but Mane did not succeed in achieving that. I think a draw is possible in this match, perhaps the penalty kicks will decide the match. Fun time for everyone

Senegal vs Egypt's final match ended in the first half, but no team has yet scored. Senegal got a penalty chance but Sadio Mane failed to score from the penalty spot. They missed the opportunity. Now I think Egypt will win the title. Both teams played defensively in the first half. I expected Egypt to play defensively. But I wanted to see some attacks from Senegal. But Senegal is also playing defensive tactics today. I would be happy if both teams try to score in the second half.

Mane was under pressure but was acting not like it, but it still showed in the way he blasted the ball and the Egyptian goalie was able to save it. I never knew the Cameroonians later come to life from 3-0 at around 70 minutes into the Match to win the third position because I put off my television after they are down with 3-0 and my thought was there is no way from them to recover. Good to know they were able to take third position since they are the host with all the support from there Fan's.

It looks like both teams are play with caution in mind and they want to make it go to the additional time or even penalties,no team is trying let's say to attack harder,beside the penalty missed from Mane not much to say.The attacks were low in number and even corners they just have one corner each.Senegal has somewhat better stats so far but so did Cameroon when Egypt eliminated them.I think if this game goes to additional time and lately at penalties most probably Egypt will come out as a winner.

Am betting in favour of Egypt too. I do not know why am so convinced still that Egypt will win the trophy even during the quarter finals. My opinion has not changed still. The match is still ongoing and it is a goalless situation into the 75th minutes of play. Let us see if this also goes into extra time or the contest for superiority ends in this round.

I have to admit that the strengths are so evenly distributed that I was afraid to bet on either team.

Egypt is doing their own tactics and bringing opponent in the extra time with having some luck Mane missed penalty after this we have no good action from any team even Senegal is having some good ball possession and control of ball, but opponents are famous in these tactics, and they are successful in this all.

Now we have just 10 minutes remaining in this match after this going into extra time it's fourth time for Egypt in this competition first time for Senegal so most chances now Egypt can win this year's title because they have done very good job and win their all matches against odds with defensive play right now most match is playing into middle.

I bet Senegal to win because I have faith in the Senegal team, they play as a team and they have player that can penetrate the Egyptians defense, but right now the both teams are playing with caution, no one want defeat, as everyone is trying his possible best to maintain his position and defend his team, let's see how it will end but I still stand with Senegal.
