Not surprised by that at all they didnt perform well in this tournament except in the last games against nigeria they were lucky to get by group stages with 3 points burkina faso is a tough opponent not an easy one to beat.

This tournament is getting wierder and wierder. Brukina faso into the semi finals is a sensation i think everyone expecting Tunisia to win the match. I think with so many surprises in this tournament i wouldnt be surprised if somehow Tunisia won the tournament out of nowhere.

Now I expect Cameroon versus Senegal for the final countdown. I think it's safe to bet on Cameroon against Egypt or Morocco and on Senegal against Equatorial Guinea and Burkina Faso next. For the finals, however, I think it can be an interesting duel with both teams scoring and fighting for the title fiercely, although Cameroon really look like the favorite and more skilled these days.
I just hope violence scenes like the ones seen on the game between Cameroon and Comoros don't repeat themselves for the next games. That was a barbaric shame for african soccer, leading to 8 deaths.

Another frustration was the way Ghana ended its participation on the championship. That was not the same Ghana from past world cups...

Big congratulations to Cameroon and Burkina Faso, they both had an impressive win over their opponent, although I enjoyed the Burkina Faso win even more because of who they had to defeat, I still don't see how Tunisia won the highly seeded Nigerian team regards they are also out, now I think Cameroon already has one foot in the final if there next opponent would be Burkina Faso.

In the Gambia-Cameroon game, I bet the Cameroonians will win. I didn’t believe that Cameroon would play so well as we were seeing so many upsets happening, but it seems I was wrong to underestimate them and definitely they’re one of the favourites now to win the cup. @onecall123 even if the teams were easy they gave it all on the pitch, hence even if they face a tough opposition I doubt now they’ll lose, but this is just my personal opinion so place your bets wisely.

Yes, Dango Ouattara scored for Burkina Faso, he got a red card but Burkina Faso still won the match. What was surprising me was that Nigeria lost to Tunisia but Tunisia won by Burkina Faso, though like i posted here in my last or second to the last post, no country can be underestimated for now, this is quarter final, it is not easy for any country to reach up to this level.

That is what matches can be, it was a surprise for everyone that Tunisia won Nigeria but anything can happen in a match, even the underdog can win. Tunisia know about Nigeria and how good they are, they have promised to tackle Nigeria very well, they probably had more energy when they are playing with Nigeria which they have in mind.

From my personal opinion I believed cameroon had not been playing a formidable opponents so far, Gambian is minnow in African football, right from the beginning of the match the cameroonians shows a complete dominance over the Gambians not testing or posing any serious threat on cameroon goalkeeper, however as the stage for the semifinals is set, it's going be cameroon playing either Senegal or Equitorial-Guinea, possibly they will likely play the former who are more formidable and stronger compared to their previous opponents who are not a serious opponent.

Good prediction from you on this game, countries I didn't expect came this far and I still believes they can do better than they think.
I'm totally Carried away by the Moroccan team, Thay have come this far but best believe this is there end.
Egypt should go further henceforth from here, prediction still goes for Salah to score a goal, Eleneny of Arsenal has also been great putting a great performance in their last game, which saw him winning the man of the match award.

Tunisia won Nigeria because they entered the game with a mindset that they were the favourites to loose and they had to clear everyone's doubts, so they played hard and well to win. Nigeria won Burkina Faso, so they may not have seen themselves as the underdog in the game against Burkina Faso. If they have been able to replicate the same play against Nigeria, where they defended well and looked for a lucky goal, i believe they would have won the game. However, kudos to them for getting this far in the competition.

You're right it's going to be hard to predict Egypt and Morocco one of the candidates goes to the final based on statistics Morocco looks better
While Egypt was defeated by Nigeria some time ago but that doesn't mean Egypt's chances are smaller because we know they have great players there that can break anyone's defense.
