I don't know exactly what they are in their mind. Their next game will be in March vs Algeria so I don't see why they did this. I could say maybe they underestimated Burkina Faso or their families and friends placed a bet against them

Big match and probobly the most intresting one of the tournament. Who knew it was gonna be for the third place on the tournament. Cameroon was able to score for 3-4 in 92th minute but var cancelled it. Plus Cameroon was able to bearly win on penalties and at leadt secure the 3rd place for this african tournament.

In the match for the 3rd place in the African Nations Cup, I bet Cameroon will win. Cameroon was hoping to win the tournament and will certainly be doubly mobilized to redeem itself for this failure. It will also be important that the match is played in the capital of Cameroon. The Burkina Faso team made a surprise anyway, reaching the medal stage of the tournament. However, they had a lot of luck hitting weaker rivals along the way.

A very good performance came from Burkina Faso, which I did not expect. Perhaps the players motivated him with the dream of transferring to better teams. All in all, these scores of Burkina Faso are a good achievement for them. Still, my favorite for this third place is Cameroon. Cameroon will most likely finish the tournament in third place. We will find out the champion tomorrow.

The good thing about tournaments is that you could check the results and see that they had only 3 wins all tournament, 1 in the groups and 2 during playoffs and yet they were 1 win away from finals. That is how teams can really "trick" you thinking they did so well. Obviously they beat some important teams while getting there but that doesn't change the fact that they had only 3 wins.

Gabon and Tunisia is not really the greatest teams in the world neither, they were doing just fine and Gabon had one win as well and Tunisia had just 1 win and 2 losses in the group and went up as third of their group. So all in all it would be wise by clubs in better nations to not look at Burkino Faso and think they are a great team.

Yes, truly big entertainment with a happy end for Cameroon. The tournaments average is less than 2 goals per game, so Burkina Faso vs Cameroon was worth more than 3 other games of the tournament! I guess the odds were crazy high after the 2-0 or 3-0 for Cameroon to come back, but they did it. Burkina Faso was super efficient with 3 shots and 3 goals

Did she just say man of the match as Bertrand Traore? It should've been Aboubakar, I guess they just messed up teams as both players have number ten jersey.
The match was so tense after Cameroon's first goal and Aboubakar scored two goals in just three minutes, after that you can see the disappointment of Burkina Faso players in their eyes. Cameroon deserved this third place after that performance though, they should be thankful to Abou.
And they gave MoM award to Traore, really weird decision as they lost the game.

Great come back from the host of the African Cup of Nations, it gladdens my heart to see them come this far, although I intially wanted them to go further than this.
I think this is one of the best come backs in the history of Africa football.

Maybe it's just a consolation to the Burkina Faso team? They've come a long way in the tournament like Cameroon and it would be super unfair if they go back with nothing to show for it? That was an intense game though - makes me wonder; if this is just the battle for third place, what's going to happen tomorrow when Senegal go head-to-head to head with the Egyptians? Definitely a game to look forward to!

Okay now I'm feeling very sad they aren't paying the finals because they would have given us one of the best finals we have ever witness. Goodness me Cameroon can entertain. What could have the coach told them in the second half to bring about such performance. I thought they have lost it all after going 3 goals down. Cameroon didn't play like they wanted to win the game but everything changed in the second half.

This is better than the final already, neither Egypt or Senegal can pull this type of come back. I knew there would be goals in this match and thankfully there was because without them it would had been boring, nobody takes the 3rd place serious anyways but Cameroon truely showed they deserve some acknowledgment in this tournament. They have been the most entertaining side right from the kick off of the tournament. Congratulations to the Cameroonians.

I think Egypt will win this title from Senegal tomorrow. It would be a fine title for them in 2022 but Senegal seem better equipped than Egypt to win it. However, as this is a final match, every team and player will give their best from their performance until the final whistle is blown. Based on the statistics, I believe Senegal is better, but Egypt also has the same chance of realizing its desire to win the title.

It will be a very different match compared to the group stage, round of 16 and semi-finals. I just hope Egypt wins. But whoever the winner, Vincent Aboubakar will be the top scorer in this competition from Cameroon. I don't see Salah in the top scorers list, that's something strange in my opinion.

It was not beyond my expectation, it is common in matches but I couldn't believe it happened in AFCON third place paly-off, it was really an interesting match. I thought Cameroon has lost the match already but the match started to get different in the second half and ended draw while Cameroon won by penalty.

I can't imagine how Burkina Faso fans feel about this drama and also how Cameroon fans are grateful for Aboubakar success in equalizing the score
If only Cameroon played Aboubakar from the start maybe the result will be different.

We should not forget S. Bahoken that started it when it scored for Cameroon at 71st minutes but V. Aboubakar tried for Cameroon by scoring the second goal and equalised the match. I also thought as much that if V. Aboubakar started the match, the match would have really been different.

I'd want to extend my heartiest congratulations to the host country; it wasn't easy to come back from three goals down in less than 30 minutes; this is a well-deserved victory; at the end of the tournament, the host country becomes the tournament's silver medalist; congrats to the entire Cameron team.

Cameroon started the game miserably, received 3 goals, made substitutions very late, barely no one expected them to recover at the end of the game, 1,2 then scored the 3rd goal, what?, extra time, penalties... and Cameroon finished third in this Cup!

I know you predict before the match has started right?, almost 90% of people here agree that Cameroon will win but not on penalties, then when Cameroon conceded 3-0 did you predict Cameroon could equalize? When I saw the match running 65 minutes then I thought there was no chance for Cameroon they're over but i was wrong a miracle happened.

The final game is going to be really exciting. Senegal and Egypt are going to perform their best to reach the championship at the end. Senegal are the favourite side here to win this game indeed but I still don't see it like guaranteed. We should never underestimate Egypt at this point. I believe that they completely deserved to play at this level of the tournament. They are a good team when it comes to resisting even more powerful teams. They might try the same tactic against Senegal too but I don't think that it will work this time. Senegal are my favourite to win.

It seems that now that they play without much pressure, they score all the goals that they did not score before, a tremendous rain of goals and a great recovery from Cameroon, so everything surely has a bittersweet taste for them.

The whole game was a total mess for Cameroon as Burkina Faso played the whole game at ease and scored a triple all in a moment.
The whole pattern of formation that was improvised all in a bid to win the game was to no avail untill when Burkina Faso players were weak and would barely return to cover up thier lapses when the overlapped was when the Cameroon had the chance to equalise and that was unfailing.I was feeling very bad when Cameroon lost thier chances of winning over the topple; surprised as the goal keeper was still able to recover from the jaw injuries he got In the pitch...
