50 minutes are already played and the game is without goals and it seems to me that it is being a very balanced game with chances of ending in a draw and going to penalties, I'm glad I didn't bet on this game, maybe under could be a good option

Gambia won the match 1-0. The match was the most competitive. It was not a boring match like other matches. Both Guinea and Gambia have had many attacks. Ball possession is almost equal. Gambia was able to win in the 71st minute of the match with the goal of Musa Barrow. In the next round, Gambia will face either Cameroon or Comoros.

Have Cameroon played any north African country? this nigeria goalkeeper made a mistake, but then came the mistake of the nigeria player who took the red card. but leaving those two things nigeria didn't play as well, as you said, they didn't look like the same nigeria i saw in past games.

The amount of politics in African football is too much.  and sometimes the coach has no choice but to follow it just to keep his job. This a the GK's first AFCON and Nigeria call-up, someone with limited experience was in charge while the first team GK was warming the bench. Throughout the group stage matches, he was surrounded by defenders and did not face any dangerous shots on goal. I knew he wasn't going to have a good tournament from the first game, and that Nigeria would be in trouble when they faced the big guns.

The ref's red card on Iwobi was  harsh; I believe he was in possession of the ball but stretching his his legs more

the comoros are very unlucky, they are already conceding 1 goal and to make their situation worse they are playing with 10 players because one of their players got a red card

in africa many referees are easily corrupted, i hope that this referee just exaggerated the red card and that he is punished in each of having made a mistake in this red card issue

Comoros islands really impressed my eyes. They are really strong and courageous despite playing a man down from the early hours of the first half. It is not a bad outting for them playing 2-1 in favour of Cameroon. Talking about the referee, I think they are becoming a little impatient and hash on some decisions that will kill the moral of players. I believe Comoros having defeated Ghana in group stage would have given Cameroon a tougher time if they got complete men on pitch of play.

definitely the unbelievable part is that comoros were playing with only 10 players but so comoros was able to score 1 goal, which makes me wonder if comoros were playing with 10 players, could they not have been able to draw in that game? This match was indeed a surprising match to me, because many people didn't expect such an offset to happen, but it makes us that give the super Eagle of Nigeria the full support and forgetting the strategy of football. It ended in favor of Tunisia with a lone goal, and that's football is either you win or you loose. I personally will be supporting the host community to get the trophy.

To be honest, I wasn't surprised by the loss. I think it happens every time in this tournament in recent years - the super eagles keep getting eliminated after some interesting performance(s). In some ways, we could say the best team lost yesterday because they lost their focus and underestimated tunisia's B-team. Nigeria was my choice to win the tournament but given the recent events and changes to the tournament, I've opted for Senegal.

What's happening right now in this competition is really shameful for africa and especially cameroon with all the manipulations they doing every time against their opponents many people doesn't know what's happening behind the scenes so i don't recommend anyone to bet or waste money on this competition.

Cameroon goalkeeper needs some accolade, if not that the goalkeeper is good at what he does the match would have been a draw or Comoros would have won, because the made so many attempts in scoring Cameroon but the goalkeeper saved them apart from one. The match was very interesting one, Cameroon played a nice game.

My prediction is that Egypt will win today against Ivory Coast. And we can watch the semi-final match between Cameroon and Egypt. I would be happy to see the final match of Cameroon vs Egypt. But this is not possible.

Yes, it was a surprise to every viewers that Cameroon won the match at last with 2:1 for the favour of Cameroon. I believe Cameroon will learnt from their mistakes by miss used their opportunity in the first half to score more than two goals. Now that they are about to face semi final, they need to improve in the areas of strategies so that they will be able to win the remaining matches. The next team they are meeting are strong team which will like to win Cameroon 2:0 without a goal from Cameroon.

I think the reason Nigeria didn’t win against Tunisia is was because of the coach, he didn’t have enough tactics and ideas and I am sure he lack experience as well, he was very predictable and it was an easy job for Tunisia who just had to mark out the both wings because that is where almost all the goals Nigeria scored in the tournament came from. And in making substitutions he made a lot of mistakes and at the end of the day he lost. Although the end of the match was a bit promising because of the tension and the team knows they needed to get something that would have taken them to an extra time at least but it didn’t come.

I support Gambia,because a player from my favorite football club plays for their national team.
Somehow Gambia managed to reach the quarter-final,despite their defensive play and the lack of quality players.
I guess that they also had a lot of luck.
I also think that the north African teams like Egypt and Tunisia with get to the semi-finals,or even the final.
I'm not an expert on the African football,but it seems to me that this tournament is totally unpredictable and the big favorites like Nigeria and Algeria didn't play very well.
