I think we are just looking a break even on this hardware with BTC prices at the current level

Who is forcing you to exchange the BTC?
No one is forcing anyone but there is no guarantee it will go up either, since the ATH it has been on a steady trend down.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

One week for the Group Buy orders is over.
Would be nice to compare some pools and or different travel times to the Data Centers.
Till now I mined only 0.5 BTC in P2Pool... First day hosted in ST DC. My shares and the pool luck sucks these days... Sad

For second time after Silk Road we see a real use for Bitcoins in the news!

What was it Zvi, has bitcoinhookers.com gone live ? Smiley

Close. It's The Fappening!!!
Last I checked it cost 0 BTC.

First time miner? It's called variance and it usually levels off in time.

No. I mined several months with my (pls don't hit me) BFL Little Single in a P2Pool. I know about the "so called leveling off variance". This don't really work when rising difficulty's comes to play. When my bad start luck "levels off" now or later, the higher difficulty eats my "later luck" away. My 30GH Miner earned much more in the P2Pool then some ppl in normal pools. (Yes, i made that little sucker ROI! Cheesy ) That's why i like to compare from time to time with other groupbuy members.

Hello All, what does it mean: "pool data successfully saved but failed to restart miner"?
Exactly that, just restart miner gate and it should work.

Usually it mean that the miner was not running or timed out on restart. Just go to main page and restart it with button again.

I feel you pain I'm currrently mining on eligius.st

and even though my expected payouts are supposed to be :
Your approximate maximum potential earnings at the current network difficulty of 27,428,630,902.26 and maintaining your 3-hour average hash rate of 3,991.63 Gh/s is 0.07318811 BTC per day.

I'm barely pulling in .045 BTC per day using 2600 watts

might need to switchp pools

Merged mining is when you submit answers to multiple blockchains.  In eligius's case,  your proof of work goes to solving in both the namecoin and the bitcoin blockchains.

Correct . so you basically are mining two coins at once.  You are supposed to get payouts for both.
