There is nothing I can do if there is a longer chain being made.
That is the risk of putting your Qora on the exchange and only letting the exchanges generate the blocks.
The only thing you can do is convince the exchanges to switch and try to get as much power on the other chain.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

QORA lost (version 16, I didn't update to Qora 17) !!!

On 21. I bought some QORA (5 transactions). On 22. I bought another amount. After restart of local Qora wallet today the first 5 transactions are gone after syncing (I have a backup from 21.), I can only see my last transaction from 22.

What happend here, I want my Qora back !!!

Maybe your transactions on 21 was on forks, check the explorer first.

I found all 6 transactions with the correct amount on at http://qora.co.in, but the first 5 are not in my wallet any more. I did not sell any QORA in the meantime. There must be an error!

Why is it a matter of bter? Pls explain! These 5 transactions where not from an exchange! They were located in block: 33948, block: 33949 and block: 33950!

Hello

It seems to me that the auto update feature
is currently one of the most important features
that should be implemented.

I think feature like this that will force every client to update in more or less
limited timeframe could avoid forking problems at least in the beginning
while the coin is young.

Most important of all, Qora should implement fail safe methods to prevent people syncing on the wrong fork.
These methods are well known and in use with many QT wallets and should have been present in the very 1st release of Qora.
BIG time fail !!
I got lucky and managed to transfer all my coins to exchange.

But I guess some people are more into features then quality.

This is just ridiculous. There's nothing else we can do. Even if poloniex stops forging for awhile they orphan all blocks when they restart even if they stop for hours. We can't do anything, we can't even forge on their chain or no chain at all. Qora has been rendered useless and I can't even transfer my coins to exchange.
I lost millions of coins already and many other people lost as well. We are left alone as Qora himself doesn't reply any PM at all. Poloniex is forging empty blocks and all other blocks are being orphaned. This doesn't make sense. How is it possible a 600m qora account is having more power than at least 1b qora. I'm sure the right chain was always above 1b forging. 2 members alone have more than 800m and are always forging
what version is poloniex on?

Open source code then we know what's going on.
There is no reason still keep the source closed.
At the ipo phase, the dev promise the source will be opened within 1 or2 month. But 4 month has past, there is still no plan to open the source.
And the wallets is still buggly.

Firstly fuck you for being a lying FUD spreading bottom feeding whale, I hope you lost some coins.

This guy likes to turn a drama into a crisis and then he buys up cheap coins, no way is he going to start selling his millions of coins. He's an enemy of Qora and only thinks of himself and getting cheap coins even if spreading FUD is the way to do it.

Qora will be fine and ai expect a rally out of this purge of stupid holders, I'm buying so hand them over if you want.

We should as a community take a chance and go OS very soon, either just open the whole code or release a third every month for three months or release all with some flaws etc. Qora needs validation. I hope the community (-Renat0 + Renat0's sockpuppets) know that I want this for Qora not against it and it will help Qora a lot at this point.

I'm new to crypto, and Qora is the most interesting coin I've seen. A lot of promise (new code, PoS, asset exchange, stable price).

I can't work out why it hasn't taken off yet, but I've just bought a few recently, so I'm not complaining.

It does feel like it's just a matter of time, as long as the dev stays attached.

It's clearly a top ten coin masquerading as a shitcoin price wise. Reall value always rises in the end. The missing keys I think are just a wallet upgrade, OS and the gradual use of AE for major new asset makers, give it a few months we will be there.
