Almost every 49er's coach in history has loved to rotate running backs and full backs situationally.  As a result it makes even our best running back a relatively poor choice for FF, in my opinion.  Mostert is likely to get the lion's share of snaps, but I predict we'll see a lot of Trey Sermon also.

Yeah I had him and Coleman a few years ago and trying to figure out which one of them (I think there was Breida too) was gonna get the share week to week was impossible! I ended up only playing one if the other 2 were hurt and that worked out well. Same with NE, I will never draft NE RBs.

I am having a really hard time trying to decide how to draft the Niners running back situation.  I think Mostert will certainly get the lead duties to start, but lets not forget he's had like 1 good season and bounced from team to team for years.  There's a reason the Niners draft Trey Sermon.  I am not sure I want anything to do with that backfield but if I do have to draft someone it'll probably be Sermon.

My thought process is, if you can't decide on how they are going to play them leave it alone.  That's just me chi, I've whiffed everytime I try nailing down the committee lead.  But if I had to guess mostert is your guy.

I hear you, and that is normally exactly what I do.  However I had my first draft last night and what did I do.. I drafted Trey Sermon lol.  I honestly have very little idea about him and since I don't watch a lot of college football much I get put at a disadvantage when it comes to incoming rookies.  I kind of like the pick being that Mostert cant seem to stay healthy. We shall see I suppose!

Honestly I don't know many teams that would pick up cam right now.  He thinks he is a starter so it will be toxic wherever he goes everytime the starting qb throws a pick.  What I see happening is when a starting qb goes out with a long term injury mid year the team picking up cam to battle with the backup.  That's the only case I can see Cam getting another shot

Yeah I agree though I do think someone will pick him up.  Maybe it'll take a little bit of time for someone to sign him, perhaps not until a QB gets hurt and he's desperately needed.  He certainly will not be going to the WFT.  He's not as good as Fitzpatrick at this point in their careers, not to mention Fitzmagic, a Harvard man, is much more of a leader/less noise and nonsense that comes w/Cam.

It might pan out well if mostert does go down with an injury.  The team definately rides their rbs.  Years ago it was much easier there were no rb by committee.  Really takes a lot of research to nail down who is who and how they will be played.

Cam has too many strikes against him, just to name a few:

History of injuries.
Brings too much unwanted attention.
Lacks accuracy.
Better RB than QB.
Requires the whole offense to cater to him.
Wants the starting QB job to be given to him.
The season is about to start.
Was beaten by a rookie QB fair and square.

Jaguars will pick him up in 2027 as a tight end.

Cam makes way more sense as a committee RB than a QB, if he was willing to let go of his ego he could play a similar role than the one we see Taysom Hill playing at NO.

9 hours until you guys draft, looking forward to seeing how all your teams pan out.  We had our bitcointalk draft last night ( wheelz and morvillz7z are probably the only active people in this thread that's in my league ) and with the 9th pick, the worst /shitiest pick of all time... ChiBitCTy    I had maybe the worst draft I've ever had in my life.  It was brutal.  Not having a top 5 pick is such a disadvantage ( well especially in 12 man leagues ).  

Let's hope bitcoin goes up over the course of the year.  Last year our buy in was .01 when btc was at 10k.  Bitcoin skyrocketed during the season and the payout for first place ended up being 3k and second got 600.  Not bad huh.

That happened to Burrow and it was not pretty, and the worst part is it seems teams do not care, after the injury Burrow suffered everyone was expecting the Bengals to draft an OL with their first draft pick and they grabbed a WR, it seems as if they forgot about the injury of their QB and as if they did not watched the SB at all in which three potential HOFs at WR, TE and QB could do absolutely nothing because their OLine was garbage.

Hmmm wonder who you taking in the 1 hole.  Haven't done a non ppr league in awhile so trying to adjust my thinking in terms of my personal rankings.  Hoping to snag Barry sanders, Jerry Rice and peyton manning.  Hope they slip
