I'm glad it was over in regulation, i couldn't watch another 10min of T. Bass trying to hold off Allen and Diggs with FGs. This was certainly not for the faint-hearted.

As for the call to go for it, i don't dislike it, i'm all for teams trying to win. On ESPN (KJM) this morning they mentioned a stat:

Yeah I'm with you.  Darvin cook bye and my 2 starting writing with a bye.  This is a rough week for me too.  One of those weeks where I'm not rooting on my guys but just rooting against the other teams guys 

Injury bug hasn't hit me too hard yet, I still got decent starters to put up there.  Gonna be a tight week.

As for the call to go for it, i don't dislike it, i'm all for teams trying to win. On ESPN (KJM) this morning they mentioned a stat:

I think a more significant stat was that by that point Bills were (IIRC) 2 of 4 in the red zone in that specific game, against that specific defense. But I guess they had some analytics thingamajingy telling them they have a 3% higher chance to win by going for it.

I am not quite certain why the Bills’ coach decided for them to chase the 4th and 1 or the touchdown instead of the field goal and the overtime.

Personally I liked the decision to go for it, at that point it did not seemed as if either D could make a stop, so in that instance the chance of winning was 50% if they went for the FG, so if they thought they had a bigger than 66% chance of making the first down or scoring on the next play then it was worth to go for it.

What I did not like was the call, a QB sneak was not a bad call in itself but they did not used the goal line personal which reduced their chances of getting the first down, plus Allen slipped which did not help either, this is similar to what we saw in SB 49 when the Seahawks threw the ball on second down while needing only one yard to score, not a bad decision in itself, but the call and execution of the call were terrible.


BTW did you saw the attempt at recreating the Music City Miracle? The renewed interest in enforcing taunting rules is ridiculous but if someone deserved to have that penalty called on them it was Vrabel, that was outright trolling, not that I dislike it.

I was on the edge of my seat watching the game and the FF scores, both were exciting, lol.  At 4th and 1, with so little time on the clock, I was certain they were going to go for the tie.  From a football perspective, that would have been the smart thing to do.  When I saw the offense lining up, I just knew they (and I) were going to lose.

It was a pretty good game, all in all.  I was surprised to see the Bills defense give up so many big runs.  I'm sure nutildah wasn't complaining though.

Yeah Derek Henry is on a different planet right now. I mean I haven’t seen a dude dominate form a position of power like he is since Adrian Peterson in his prime. That guy just straight beasting people and sometimes it’s easy to forget that these dudes he’s destroying are the best in the world at what they do. Something else.
