Dear Groestlers!

I'm happy to announce that a new version (1.0.1.4) of Windows wallet is available in http://www.groestlcoin.org/downloads/. It's a minor update and only changes the artwork.

Also, now you can print out Groestlcoin on paper using our paper wallet generator: http://www.groestlcoin.org/paper.html

And finally, we have a dedicated Groestlcoin forum set up here: http://www.groestlcoin.org/forum/

Please start migrating to the new forum.

Some words about near future... Next plans are to release Android Wallet and Android Miner. We'll keep you posted.

Thank you!

Is there an ETA for the Android Miner? Smiley

ASAP

The Grøstl algo borrows its design from the AES S-box model.
Therefor our algo takes advantage of AES Acceleration implementations, AES-NI (INtel) and NEON (ARM)

Because of the algo's unique design and the widespread adoption of the AES standard, it is my firm conviction that Groestlcoin will flourish on low-power devices and high-end devices, thus decentralizing mining.

This is not a gimmick or PR stunt.

And its not about tablet or smartphone mining either (altho it could be for PR purposes)…
It's about getting ready for the ARM revolution

In 5 years from now 95% of micro-processors shipped will be ARM arch.

At this early stage of development our testing shows an ARM NEON cpu is at least as effcient as an AMD GPU when hashing Groestl on a hashrate/watt measure.

The Grøstl Algo will prove to be the most democratic algo in terms of performance across multiple platforms.
And perhaps the most disruptive algo in crypto - hashing things up for the better!
