As you said Marseille really deserved to win, because Marseille have players of better quality than Angers. The Marseille players have
a very good finishing, so the chances they get can be converted into 3 goals. In fact, if we look at the statistics, Angers has a number of shots
that are not much different from Marseille. The problem is that the Angers front line has a very bad finishing, that's why none of the opportunities
they get can be goals. Marseille's victory made them rise to the top position replacing PSG for a while, but at least Marseille's victory puts PSG
under a bit of pressure.

It was a pretty interesting match actually. Angers had very important chances in the first thirty minutes of the match. But they wasted all the chances they found. Clauss scored a superb goal right after that and relieved Marseille a little. Ending the first half 1-0 ahead must have been beneficial for them a lot. Because they were completely different in the other half.

They took control of the match more and found so much space in Angers defense. They took advantage of it in a great way by scoring two more goals before the 60th minute. Angers couldn't react to any goal until the late minutes of the match. Now we see Marseille at top in the standings temporarily. But most probably PSG would defeat Nice and take back the lead.

For now even I'm not sure they can beat PSG even with their good form at the moment.
Their biggest chance is to secure a draw and this they can still maintain but to win this will be very difficult although it would be good if they can win because at least there is still a club that can hold PSG to remain competitive .

it was an easy win for Marseille even though they played away, they are not successful in the champions league at all, so they have to focus on their ligue so they can compete with PSG, they have to win most of their games and avoid defeat, which they are good at so far, at least PSG hot someone to worry about and it won't be a boring season.

But thankfully they were very incapable of finishing up their dangerous attacks with a goal. It was a turning point for Marseille so the 3-0 score shouldn't be misleading for anyone.

PSG - Nice is not a very difficult one for PSG indeed. As PSG have lost the lead this would be a motivation source for them to show a high level of performance to finish the game early. As long as the trio have a good day it wouldn't be hard for them to destroy Nice.

Marseille's attacking lineup has been very strong this season. Marseille won 3-0 today. They have performed very well. But Angers' players did not play badly. Quality was big difference between these two teams and Marseille were at the top of their game with these three points now they are at the top of the league table for one day and with this performance they are only team which can give some challenge to PSG because in last few years we have only these two teams which are doing good job in this league and have no good challenger for their top spots but with this win surely now many are feeling they can go through with PSG throughout season.

Marseille started their season very well, scoring loads of goals and also keeping things very tidy at the back too, they're the 2nd higest scoring team in the Frenc league this season, and they also have the 2nd best defensive record. From what I've noticed from the French Ligue 1 over the past few seasons is that you really can tell which team are going to have phenomenal season, after about the first 10 games or thereabout, I don't expect them to provide a stiff competition with PSG in terms of the title chase though, but I reckon that they're going to have pretty decent season.
