Did you mention PSG is short of funds this season. I think they are one of the teams in Ligue 1 that has quite strong financial strength compared to other teams. In fact, they brought in 11 players in the last summer transfer window so it's not too epic if we say they are short of funds this season. Indeed, PSG performance is not very good this season because in 7 matches they were only able to record 3 wins. There's no way Paris Saint Germaine's poor result against Clermont can be associated with the club's limited finances because Paris Saint Germaine were very active in the summer transfer window after their former star players like Lionel Messi, Neymar Jnr and Marco and Verrati left the club. I don't even know why people were calling the final condition has affected the performance of the club. PSG is not even facing financial crisis, and it was buying so many players during the winter transfer season. I was a little surprised by all the teams in League 1. I saw that it was not just Lyon who experienced a decline in performance, in fact all the teams in League 1 experienced instability and very weak consistency so that the competition did not look as competitive as other leagues. After seven matches in charge of PSG, Luis Enrique has not yet found a line-up of players that can maintain PSG consistent performance. So far PSG has lost 9 points since Luis Enrique was appointed main coach, the draw when playing at Clermont Foot headquarters further strengthens the assumption that PSG is not doing well in the hands of Luis Enrique.

This season, PSG start is not like previous seasons. Rennes, on the other hand, managed to defeat Nantes at home. Rennes is another unbeaten team in 7 games.

Lyon is one of the traditional clubs in French Ligue 1 but has been very poor since the start of the season which I don't know the actual problem of the club. Being able to secure just two points in their first 7 games of the season is absolutely poor for a big club like Lyon.
Their manager Fabio Grosso I think is doing everything within his power to make sure he revives his team but it seems like nothing is working at the moment for them. They must find a solution to their poor performances as early as possible or risk being relegated at the end of the season.

Lyon performance has gotten worse even since Fabio Grosso joined it hasn't had an impact on Lyon performance in fact it's getting worse every match they play they can't win at all so it's difficult for Lyon to catch points.
The lack of star players makes it difficult for Lyon to rise and develop I don't think it lies with the coach but the Lyon players who should be replaced.
Even though the season is still long, Lyon has not shown any signs of change in himself.
Lyon last few matches have been difficult and they are one of the strongest clubs in the Italian league at the moment so it is only natural that Lyon is not able to beat this elite club.

If Lyon is unable to improve their performance in the next match then I am sure they will sink further down the standings. There is no investment made by management in the transfer market window which makes them look like a team that is really not strong this season. 2 points from the 7 matches they have played indicates how poor their performance has been so far. Other teams could easily steal points from them so Grosso had to think faster to find a more ideal strategy to return Lyon to winning ways.

Even for Rayan Cherki, he is not a striker who is truly productive in scoring goals because he was not able to score a single goal in the 7 matches they have played. That is Grosso job to find a change in the upcoming match. He should rotate and trust other players to show their qualities rather than relying on Cherki but he is really bad up front.

The team is in a lot of problems, I think if you want to have a good result from a new coach, you have to give him some time.  and this is also just the start of the season. With time I think he will be able to bring in better results.
