PSG now finally at the top of the table with a 27 points as against 26 points that Nice currently has, I was thinking Nice would be able to maintain the top position on the table for awhile but it seems PSG is back and ready to displace them for a good period of time.

Yes, on first place in the league and Mbappe is topscorer with 13 goals in 11 games. After all the transfer speculation a few months ago, he is now showing how good he play football. Real Madrid and him were in agreement that he would transfer and shortly before the end it was reported in the media that they were not in agreement and it was all about money, Mbappe would not have been able to get big bonuses. I really do not believe that he had any kind of agreement with Real Madrid. And I still do not believe that he currently has any kind of agreement. Because of all those things I have heard before. One thing that has always been talked about is how the performance of their attacking line is not so proguctive has finally become a concern that becomes a reality. Normally PSG should have an easy win, but just like any game of sports, the favorites have a "higher" chance but not guaranteed to win, which means that even though we should probably see PSG to win this game, there is a possibility that they may get a draw or a loss out of this too. I do not believe that will be the case and I am going to bet on them to win this one, they should by all cases win with this much spent on the team, if you spend this much and build such a good squad and still end up losing to much worse teams then why are you even spending that much money to begin with.

PSG is a very tactical team with better chances of securing 3points in a game, they have higher advantage in terms of team quality, stats, fans and favouritism, the game of football has changed over the years and currently a game is unpredictable, a more better team can actually be subdued by a less tactical team. Anything can happen, the team we expect to win may eventually secure a loss to a team that we didn't even envision to win.

 Everything and anything can be twisted in football, therefore it shouldn't surprise us when a bigger team is defeated, PSG can still confidently defeat other teams that they face in subsequent games, even if a bet is placed on PSG, there's still a high probability of it working out, That's actually the level of confidence i have personally for PSG.

A club that was a Champions League semi-finalists in 2020 is now struggling to remain win a match. The club's desire now will be to struggle to remain in the Ligue One next season. Fabio Grosso needs more time to build the team so the club need to be patient with him. Lyon's next game will be with Rennes, a team that has not won any game in four matches. A win against Rennes will move Lyon to the seventeenth position that is if Clermont Foot losses it's game against Lorient but a loss will still keep them at the bottom of the league.

Lyon really made it to the victory against Rennes.    But of course it was mostly thanks to the red card Rennes got in the 5th minute already. Lyon were really lucky about it. They played really effective in the first half after but still they couldn't score. Instead they finally scored the winner in the last 30 minutes of the game.

Rennes even started to balance the game in the second half. This shows how desperate situation Lyon are in now. They can't even keep dominance against a team with 10 players for a long time.

But in the end this win should be some help for the players to perform better in the upcoming games. It took them a really long time to win their first game of the season.

For me, it is very natural that this season Reims' defense and goalkeeping may not be as strong as last season because some of the players may be different and on the one hand there must be something that makes the defense decline a little, such as injured players or players who have a history of injury or even players which may be a little old.

Regardless of whether PSG's performance is ideal or not, it is only a matter of time for PSG where they only have to continue to be consistent while waiting for the club that is rising in terms of performance to have problems and now it is happening.
It has become a fairness in my opinion when talking about PSG and the top of the table because they have a lot of resources and their strength is far above even though until now PSG still cannot maximize it in a better direction, especially for big competitions like the Champions League but for Ligue 1 it has become a benchmark that PSG is the king because they have advantages in any case so it is difficult for other clubs to compete.

Its difficult thing with teams want to make PSG under pressure because loss points from unpredictable teams, Nice have got draw against Montpellier and most surprised they can't scoring one goal yet and make their first standings position taken by PSG after wining over Reims 0-3 and have one point left awhile from Nice. PSG is a top team used to pressure and knows how to contain the pressure, I think the only pressure which they find a bit difficult to contain is the saga of Mbappe, That aside 1they’ve proven to be a top quality and would do well over a period of time, however they'll face though pressure from Monaco and Nice to defend their title this season.

There is finally a win for Lyon after leaving 11 game weeks behind.    It has been a really difficult path for them so far. They could have even lost points against a Rennes with playing 10 players as well. Because they lost the control of the game in the second half. Anything could have happened in the meantime.

Marseille lost to lens, this has helped lens moved up the table as they now have 16 points as against their 13points they had earlier, they have been able to displace Le Havre that had 15 point at the sixth position as lens now occupy the sixth position on the table.


Marseille had a better performance than lens did in this game and they were ahead of lens on the league table and aswell looked better than lens did in form and strength but then football happened and here they are again with just 13 points and would have to strive to go above their cure position I'd they must be at the top of the league but then neither of these team may finish top five this season on the table , so far their performance doesn't look like it.

With 27 points in the first 12 matches, PSG is now at the number one position in the points table. PSG have won 100% of their last five matches in Ligue 1. The more a team can improve their performance, the more consistent their performance can be at this point compared to the beginning. I think PSG can keep this streak going until the end of the season.

The thing about Lyon is that they had one of the all time best runs in all of France history and then they are so bad that they may drop. It's not even same with Leicester who won the premier league title and now they are gone to championship, that's a big shocker too and did not expected them to get that worse, but Lyon is doing even worse right now. They won something like 9 in a row or something, they may actually have a bigger win streak than PSG at this moment, that is something huge and you need to build a club that can be sustainable when you do that.

How could you have one of the longest streaks of wins, and then end up with being so bad that people are expecting you to eventually relegate? That feels like a big deal. I think it's clear that they are going to end up with a bad result, they need to do a lot better. Can't say what they did with all the money they had, but it's gone, that's for sure and that's why they can't get better.

It would be very bad to see Lyon relegated this season, because they used to be a very tough team but currently they've been performing very poor and it's gotten worst because they find it very difficult to win against smaller teams they should be winning easily even at their home ground, they're currently at the very bottom of the league and they really have to be consistent in about 3 to 4 matches to leave the relegation zone, but I doubt if they would cause they're the only team that's yet to win a match.

 I don't know how they got to this point, whether they're financially unstable and couldn't strengthen their club in the previous window or that the club is poorly run by incompetent owners, board members or manager, but whatever the case may be they need to think of a solution that would help save them from relegation this season cause if they keep losing more points till January I doubt if they'll be able to escape the relegation zone.
