Lens are still in top form and there is no harm in betting on them winning. Moreover, Lens has a real target for this season to be able to get into the Champions League zone next season. Personally I don't consider Ligue 1 to be as tough as you may be seeing it to be, rather I feel it's an average league, PSG happens to be one of the team that brings the competition to Ligue 1, so far this season there has been no epic or intriguing moments in the ligue 1 but rather it has been filled with mostly average performance.

Nice has at some point try to be a strong contender against the defending champions but then like usual, the regular dominators which happens to be PSG is now back at the top and wanting to defend their title, this season the Ligue 1 has appeared more like an upcoming league in Europe and the few elite teams amongst they seem to focus more of their best performance outside the Ligue 1 probably to further gain recognition on bigger platforms

No, I would bet a house on Nice having no chance against PSG over the course of 38 matches. Nice was efficient when it comes to results, but that is not sustainable when you score only one goal on average per game. It is all nice when it is enough to win most of the games in the early season, but for how long will it work that an average of one goal brings you the number of wins and draws, the number of total points to beat PSG after 38 games and win the title?

Nice can definitely have no chance against a team like PSG to win the French League, however currently PSG and Nice are racing closely for the title and Nice is the only competitor they can have because currently Nicve has 29 points and PSG has 33 points which means they are not close enough to make troubles for PSG and in the other hand PSG with Enrique is getting in the good form. Indeed, initially Lens was not able to stabilize the composition of the players' performance but now it seems like Lens is already in high self-confidence even though playing in the biggest competition in Europe doesn't break Lens spirit to continue to perform well in the domestic league, recently Lens has been on a winning trend. I think Lens will win the match again against Montpellier.

Montpellier just won 13 points and ranked 13th very modestly. Montpellier's strikers are alarming. Since the beginning of the season, Montpellier has played 7 matches at home and only won 1, lost 2, and drew 4. Lens is showing excellent form in Ligue 1 this season. They have been unbeaten in 9 consecutive matches. Montpellier is not Lens' opponent, as they have only won one head-to-head game from 2021 until now. Combined with Lens' high performance in the domestic tournament, the host's chances of winning points are meager. The pressure on the home team is enormous. Lens must also maintain a ranking in the group with tickets to the European Cup with victories.

Both teams showed their determination before the clash and promised a dramatic match. But I will bet on the underdog anyway.

I do not think Lens is actually going to lose in this match. Even though the performance has not been as people probably have expected from them, they have certainly performed a lot better compared to their opponent Montpellier.  If I am not wrong, Montpelier does not have a single win in the last five matches. They have three losses and two draws in the last five. That is definitely not a good indication. That is also not going to give them any confidence going to the next match. In my opinion, Lens is going to win this match and the real question is the goal difference.
