When Paris Saint Germaine were not performing well at the start of the French Ligue 1 season, I was of the opinion that they're gonna bounce back to the top whenever the new manager Luis Enrique finds the best playing pattern for the team and my reason for having such thought is because if the fact that PSG possess the strongest team in France when it comes to quality of players.
And just as I predicted,the team is back to where they belong. It's still very early to predict who's gonna win the title but considering the kind of quality players in the team, PSG I think are sure gonna finish the season with the league title

In terms of the depth of performance, PSG players are indeed superior compared to other teams and on the one hand, PSG still has very high quality players like Mbappe, so Enrique opportunity to bring PSG to the top of the standings is still very much hoped for. Its just that what PSG needs now is consistency because of several times experienced defeat due to a lack of consistency in the attack line. Its very natural that it might still be unstable and I understand that because as long as it has a schedule that is very close to UCL, PSG performance will decline a little, but after having a slightly looser schedule, this team strong performance will definitely return and be at the top of the standings.
we dont need to worry as long as we still have Mbappe. PSG still has a chance to win the title in League 1.

There is finally a win for Lyon after leaving 11 game weeks behind.    It has been a really difficult path for them so far. They could have even lost points against a Rennes with playing 10 players as well. Because they lost the control of the game in the second half. Anything could have happened in the meantime.

One way or another they made it to a 1-0 win here. I hope this would be the start of getting positive results for Lyon. Otherwise there is no way they are saving themselves from relegation. 

Last season they finished 7th and going into the new season they were struggling to win games, and in the end they managed to crack the egg that had been dificult for them to crack. Considering the quality of players at Paris Saint Germaine, I'm even of the opinion that they aren't delivering the best performance they're capable of delivering despite the fact that they're winning games recently and are at the top of French Ligue 1 standings.
Luis Enrique I believe can still improve the performance of the PSG team which will make them almost unbeatable in the French league. They didn't start the season on a good note but have significantly improved over the weeks but I still expect a lot from them as a team

Maybe a little late but I just wanted to discuss the oddities I thought of and try to focus on the red flags of Reims' match with PSG.

In as much as they got superior players in their squad depth it doesn't mean they should underestimate other teams, they need to be very careful when playing against some mediocre teams cause they might drop points and give Nice and opportunity to get back to the top of the league table, however I'm impressed with how Enrique has Managed them properly to get to the point they're currently and I believe if they continue being consistent for a long time then they'll definitely defend the title.

 As for the UCL theirs hope for PSG to qualify for the next round they're currently in the 2nd position in their Group with about 6 points, if they could win Newcastle at their home ground it would give them a very big boost cause Dortmund might draw or lose against Acmilan, well with the help of Mbappé I believe they'll be successful this season however they don't have to be fully dependent on him alone since they still got other good quality players.

I think that PSG has been so focused on the Champions League for such a long time that this might be the only weakness they have when it comes to their results in Ligue 1. They sometimes seem as if they have problems to take Ligue 1 as seriously as they take the Champions League. But in that Champions League group there will be two very sad losers and it's almost as if every game in that group is like a final. Everyone can still make it although Newcastle is in the worst position as they also lost the duel with Borussia Dortmund in case they end up having the same number of points. But until then there is still a long way to go. Both games for Dortmund are tough, but it could as well be over if both Dortmund and PSG win their next game. That would mean they only play for the group winner in the last game.

PSG's performance in the beginning of Ligue 1 was very poor, from that poor situation, PSG has managed to come out in a very good form. Luis Enrique, the current manager of PSG, may have taken some time to get to know his team well and apply tactics according to the team. Despite not being able to start the season, PSG seem to be a consistent team at this point in the season. With 27 points in the first 12 matches, PSG is now at the number one position in the points table. PSG have won 100% of their last five matches in Ligue 1. The more a team can improve their performance, the more consistent their performance can be at this point compared to the beginning. I think PSG can keep this streak going until the end of the season.

Slowly but surely, PSG was able to improve its performance and managed to regain the top position in the standings. They will try to dominate Ligue 1 as they have done in the last few years, Luis Enrique is starting to find a strategy that can improve the quality of PSG game in Ligue 1. I see that PSG will continue to maintain its position and win trophies again, but I am pessimistic that PSG can go further in the UCL because they are not able to maintain their performance in European competitions.

Lille failed to get full points at home after only being held to a draw by Toulouse with the same score of 1-1. Even though Lille initially took the lead, it was not enough to ensure complete victory at home and they even had 14 goal opportunities but they all failed and only resulted in 1 goal. In contrast to Toulouse's statistics, they only had 2 scoring opportunities and one of them resulted in an equalizer until the final minute.

It can be seen that the tension in this match was also very heated considering that the referee issued a total of 7 yellow cards to each player from both teams. This result means Lille failed to widen the gap to maintain 4th position in the standings and now they have the same points as Reims and are also at great risk of being overtaken by Reims in the next match.
