If Mbappe has big ambition in his footballing career, it would be rational decision to move to La Liga or Premier League. The only reason for Mbappe to stay at PSG is that he accepts an offered big money by PSG.  That only means he just doesnt have big ambition and chooses to stay in his comfort zone by always being the best in his own backyard.

PSG are traditional winners of the French League and yes Nice this season have improved so well but I don’t think they’ll be able to overtake PSG. Yes the competition will be beneficial Nice but I don’t think they’ll be able to keep up for long. Nice haven’t been so consistent and that’s one reason I don’t see them ending in the top 2 of the league.

However I love their improvement in the Ligue 1, they've turned from a mediocre team in the Ligue 1 to one of the top challengers for the title race, Nice might not win the Ligue this season but participating in the UCL next season seems very likely. 

as I said, if Nice has indeed had quite good improvements since several seasons, they can achieve runner up achievements but that will only be temporary and I also admit that Nice performance is really very good, a little more consistent at the start of the season and almost surprised everyone with what Nice has done is that they can have great strength at the start of the season and end up experiencing a decline in performance in the second half of the season and if we want to see Nice in the UCL next season that could happen but I'm really not sure if they can get past the round group stage if you are in a group with a stronger team.

no matter how strong Nice is, it will only be experience and will never be able to get the League 1 title, but all of that can be achieved if you consistently stay in the runner up position for several seasons, gain experience competing with big teams, after that you can find a way to win the title in league 1.
and if next time Nice gets a ticket to the UCL and fails in the first stage it won't be a big problem because it's a valuable experience for a team to know its mistakes.

Indeed, Mbappe has been a phenomenal figure in recent years and he has always been PSG's mainstay since he was brought in from Monaco. Luis Enrique as PSG coach must be very grateful to have a player like Mbappe in his squad, especially now that he is also the captain so his responsibility is very big to lead his teammates.

Mbappe is PSG's all-time top scorer and I don't think any player can break his record. If they want to win Champions League, they must maintain their good performances there, season by season. They can not go to the final match every season but a more regular they can join rounds like quarter final, semi final, the more probability they will have chance to join Champions League final. When a team already are in a final match, chance to life the trophy is 50/50.

Inter Milan are only a runner-up last season and the fact is even Champions League winners failed to defend their titles in a next season. During his time at PSG, this player always gave great achievements and was even considered one of the best players that PSG has ever had, but this club cannot continue to depend on Mbappe because from now on he is preparing to let go of Mbappe and must focus on building the club stronger. after losing Mbappe.

This season, there have been strong rumors that Mbappe will actually end his contract with PSG. it is even reported that this French star is willing to cancel his loyalty bonus from Paris Saint-Germain. so far, Enrique is directing PSG and is quite successful in Ligue 1. they are at the top of the standings, and are only 5 points behind the Nice team. however, in the Champions League, Luis Enrique's team is nothing compared to other top teams. this is only natural, considering that PSG is in the phase of rebuilding their squad and only has Mbappe as a big star at their club. if in the end Mbappe leaves, Enrique has prepared how he will handle his team. apart from that, PSG will look for the ideal player instead. the point is, IMO, PSG is not targeting the Chanpions League trophy. but at least, they will still maintain Ligue 1.

I was not expecting anything other than this from Mbappe since he is playing in PSG and In this team, he is the only target and famous player. This means all other players in PSG usually pass the badd to Mbappe and this player is PSG while he has many players to supply him and give him opportunities to have more chance in this team.
Mbappe could even score more goals if he was playing in another team.

PSG's main player is Mbappe.And with this squad he is able to score a lot of goals. As Luis Enrique builds his match strategy around Mbappe, Mbappe gets a lot of help from other players in the team to score. This is why Mbappe can score a lot of goals in PSG jersey. But Mbappe is very talented. He has the ability to score a lot of goals. He is also successful in the France team. So if Mbappe plays with a Liverpool, Arsenal or Madrid squad, he will probably score a lot of goals and be the top scorer in the league. Any major club would be interested in adding a talented score machine like Mbappe to their squad.

Messi and Neymar had two whole seasons to show something. I'm not sure who deserves the blame. A team like PSG needs big stars so that their chances of winning the competition are greater, but having big stars in the squad will certainly add a lot of pressure to a coach when the player has to be on the bench due to a disciplinary violation or decline in performance (except injury).

Recruiting star players is a must when a team wants to win the title. However, the problem is, not all coaches are able to handle the pressure and make all their players unselfish towards each other and have good relationships with each other. I blame the coach for his inability to overcome this problem, but I also blame the management for giving too much freedom to their star players to organize many things.

PSG are only promising and competitive in Ligue One race and other domestic league but when it comes to UCL, it's top and tough, meant fro European clubs that have the full potentials to each their peak this season. PSG will not go anywhere this season. I don't count PSG as any elite club to become active in the UEFA Champions League competition because they don't have what it takes to become prime in the race or competitive enough to the taste of their supporters, even their opponents have slight chance of weighing losses on them.

This has been seen for a long time at PSG, where they can only be competitive in Ligue 1 and will not be strong enough in the Champions League, so until now PSG has not tasted the sweetness of the Champions League trophy. And this season won't be much different because PSG might only be able to get a trophy in Ligue 1 and won't get a trophy in the Champions League because there are many teams that are more favored in the Champions League this season, but for PSG it looks like it will be difficult to be superior.

I wouldn't describe the win of this title as a booster for their confidence, but as something that gives them a decent understanding of their own goals and possibilities. Everyone expected them to win that title and they delivered. But by now nobody expects them to win the title in the Champions League and maybe it is good for them that they finally don't have to carry this burden anymore and deal with the pressure that everyone says they have to win the Champions League. Not this time, the favorites are other teams.

The Trophée des Champions might not be a big trophy but little achievements like this could serve as a motivation to put in more effort. They have won the trophy for the twelfth time which is remarkable. PSG coaches are judged based on the Champions League performance but to win the local trophies is a must. But I am glad that coach Luis Enrique has won his first trophy for the club and they are also in a good position to win the Ligue One. Real Sociedad might not be the favorite in the Champions League second-round match but we cannot underestimate them. PSG I not in very good shape compared to clubs like Manchester City, therefore they are not favorites to win the Champions League. Luis Enrique already knows that he might lose his job if PSG fail to lift the most prestigious trophy in Europe this season.

Yes the coaches there are expected to win the Champions League, or let's say to present themselves in the best light possible. Naturally, winning the Champions League can't be expected as a sort of standard, but PSG has had lots of problems to get into the semifinals let alone the finals. With all the effort and resources they have put into the club, there is only one single final game, which took place against Bayern Munich and that's it. I think that is definitely not enough. But I wouldn't want to be a coach of PSG knowing that the Champions League trophy is the only trophy that really counts.

Going to the semi final can be considered as a great achievement for PSG. I think enrique didn't even put a high target for the current season. PSG will always be having chances to participate in UCL. The point is the club is just trying to play and they were not caring so much with the result.
Enrique is not also having a very big target that would be only give him burden. The ambition to get UCL is still there, but it was not as strong as before. PSG needs to realize that building the club from the bottom is a key to win UCL.

Pep has been doing it for years till finally won UCL last season. This is going to be a challenging journey for Enrique, as he will have to overcome numerous obstacles along the way. PSG is not as strong as bayern and real madrid. I believe the chance is far lower for this club to take UCL trophy.
The club has spent billions of money but they were not still able to win the trophy. The ambition will make PSG lose its control over the performance of the club. PSG needs to slowly building the momentum to make it happen.

This is going to be the last season of mbappe in PSG and i hope he will be lucky enough to go to the semi final.

PSG just can't be a winner team in the Champions League no matter what they do. I think that their biggest chance was the time with Messi and Neymar being in the squad. They created a great trio in the attacking line but even this wasn't enough to win a single Champions League title. Because Neymar was injured mostly and Mbappe - Messi duo was also not enough to win a title there.

Now in this season PSG's chance is much lower due to their performance until now. The group stage was horrible for them but somehow they made it to last 16.

Mbappe is in his last year at PSG so in case of not winning a Champions League title once again I wonder what his final decision to leave or stay will be.
