Actually, such a small number of conceded is certainly a good result but unfortunately, at the same time the reality is that Nice does not have a high number of goals. Sacking Fabio Grosso is bringing good changes with positive results and end of worst era for the Lyon which create serious internal issues now look like they are back into business and their last four wins with clean sheets are surely positive change for them and their fans as well now we have few days left in start of the next half of the season which could be more challenging because if they want to keep things at the top level now they needed to be at this level which will give them good results and better spot as well.

Most chances if we have good results and better spot at the end of this season then Pierre Sage surely deserve more time which can bring good results and better chances for the staying at the top ranks in Ligue 1 but with this all they need to improve their squad for the quality results as well because now time is changing and things can go down again if they fail to have quality players.

Rennes appearing to be the favorite in their next fixture against Nice is really getting me to nursing some taughts of what could be the possible reason behind such because according to the bookies the odds are higher on Nice while it's a bit fair around Rennes, maybe their he advantage is a key reason this would have been kept that way.

I still don't have that full conviction that Rennes can be able to defeat Nice I'm theirs fixture on Saturday. Nice is at the second position with 35 points and in their last five games, they were able to win three and lost two as against Rennes who won just two games in their last five games and lost two drew one which they are at the 10th position with just 19rh points which for me is a clear indication that they are both not of matching strength so most definitely Nice still remains favourite for me.

There are many factors for this with Rennes having good record at home and before break Nice were having 2 loses and one draw which making things on this way even still Nice is having good chance for the win with Rennes is facing troubling time and their performance is also average with having 5 wins from last 10 games and having 4 loses but most chances Nice having two defeats against team like Nantes and Le Harye create some confusion about this.

I am also feeling most chances Nice will be gone through into this challenge and try to keep things at the top level as they were doing in their first half of this season because their target is still staying into top 3 which is possible, but they need to work on their attack which is surely not as par they needed for having good end in this season after having impressive performance in the first half of this season.

PSG almost reached 10 goals and I think the result of 9 goals without reply is very painful for a weak team like Revel. Kylian Mbappe even managed to record a hat trick in this match and other players were equally part of this landslide victory. Luis Enrique seems to have proven that they are the number 1 club in France and whoever they play against, he doesn't seem to show any mercy.

I think PSG should have been able to rest their main players in this match when they were 3 goals ahead but in fact most of them stayed until the end of the match. It is also possible that Luis Enrique will try to implement some strategies in this match by testing several possibilities that can be applied in the Champions League later. However, this victory was quite satisfying because fans could smile a little more when they saw the appearance of the players they liked.

Actually there is nothing wrong with the result that happened for PSG because it was a necessity because they faced a club that was far below them because Revel was in the 6th caste of the Ligue 1 domestic competition so the result was a fairness and indeed it was a feasibility for PSG but in this case we don't need to discuss whether this is good or not for them and for consideration in Ligue 1 because in the end the competition is also different so we don't need to compare Ligue 1 with the French Cup.

In the first half Nice done good job and keep things at the top even they are not having luxuries like PSG but still their defense is one of the best in this season, but sadly their defensive tactics are not going to help them for winning title they need to add some aggressive striker which helps them and increase their number of goals as well in last few matches before break they lost 2 matches both were against low rank teams which are surely painful but still they are doing decent job which is going to help them for having better results.

IMO, it looks like Nice is not aiming for the League title, considering that Nice is a mid-table team in this competition. To finish in the top four of the Ligue 1 standings, is already a big achievement for them. in 2015-16, Nice was able to finish in 4th place in Ligue 1. in the 2016-17 season, Nice experienced an improvement up one level finishing in 3rd place in Ligue 1. after that, Nice was always a mid-table team. Last season, Nice was only able to finish in 9th place. Well, this season Nice experienced improvement and was ranked first in Ligue 1, although in the end it was taken over again by PSG. However, so far Nice is still in the top four of the standings, more precisely below PSG's ranking with a difference of 5 points. one of the teams that was not expected to go this far, and they were still consistent throughout their 17 matches. Their efforts look ambitious to become champions in the Champions league, but they always fail. Not only is the players mentality not ready, but other teams are much stronger than them, so psg must find a way to appear more impressive when they face championship candidate teams such as Manchester city, Real madrid and Bayern munich. If PSG meets these three teams in the next round and if psg manages to beat them, of course PSG can focus their hopes on becoming champions this season.

Maybe PSG will have extra motivation to beat Lens based on these statistics?
