It's true that I still hope Lyon can finish in a better place this season because it's not easy to get off to a bad start and they are slowly starting to build trust between the players and the environment around them. Last Saturday Lille has just gets big win 12-0 against FC Golden Lion on France Cup and their striker Jonathan David was made a hattrick so this result probably will restore their mentally and return to the winning ways and for Lorient i am not really sure what happend to this team because their performance was completely messed up and their defense also very poor because until week 17 Lorient have already conceded 35 goals and about the result of this match although Lille performance was not quite good but i think they have good chance to beat Lorient

Although Lille only has 7 wins and 7 draws during the first half of the season but yes, the fact is that Lille is in 5th place in the current Ligue 1 standings. PSG's initial concept of wanting to create a new Los Galacticos in Ligue 1 was actually very good with the backing of Naser AlKhelaifi behind it making the plan easier because of the resources they have in this regard but the problem  is that they cannot utilize the existing resources with the purchases that occur.
PSG focused more on players who already had big name but without caring about anything including their age like when they signed Messi and Sergio. They did play well while at PSG even though if you look at the previous club you can see the difference in performance because of the age factor but they still have a good contribution but the Champions League does not see that because in the end, apart from the big names in the Champions League, we also know several things that must be considered including better performance and stamina.

Mbappe should play in a more competitive league. Yes, PSG is also taking part in the UCL Cup which is of course very competitive. Currently, Lyon is ranked fifteenth in the standings and is already out of the relegation zone. And it could also be quite possible for Lyon to reach the top ten standings this season if Lyon can get more wins in the upcoming matches. Just like i said before Marseille has been showing good progress recently and seems Gattuso has found his best strategy for this team and in Ligue 1 Marseille performance gradually better and they have been improved their position too at league standings and after break today Marseille will attempts to resumes their unbeated records in Ligue 1 but this is not easy because their opponent Strasbourg also in the good shape and Strasbourg recent records at Ligue 1 was slightly better than Marseille and from 9 latest matches in all competitions Strasbourg only get once lose so these records was proven today Marseille will facing hard match

It is never easy for Strasbourg to beat Marseille, in fact their last victory was more than a decade ago, but in the last three meetings the match ended in a draw, but this time everything will be very different and the two teams are in not too different circumstances so agree this will be a tight match.
Marseille has not been defeated in a home match so Strasbourg has to be more aggressive if they want to beat their opponent but their chances of winning are not big in my opinion and just getting one point in an away match is certainly a good thing for Strasbourg because Marseille is currently in very good progress.

Gattuso has a positive contribution to the team. The team knows what he wants to do and shapes their game accordingly. Marseille have collected 13 points in their last 5 games and are in a good position in the league. I think they will continue their performance because they will play at home and they will use this advantage.

Strasbourg won their last 3 matches and played good football. In this match, we will watch two good teams playing good football. I think Marseille will win this match because it will be played at home, but Strasbourg's good play in the last weeks makes it difficult to predict.

Lyon are not so lucky this season perhaps this season is one of there challenging season so far because they use to perform very well in there previous seasons but there performance on this season is like a club that doesn't have a target or team work because I never believe they will be on the position they are now considering there performance on the previous season, well considering there stand on the table now they should avoid relegation.

Although they still have a chance to improve on there table because the two clubs that's currently above them on the table doesn't have much of a point difference with Lyon, so perhaps this is actually a chance for Lyon to secure some good record for themselves by removing themselves from the relegation zone but although there next match against Le Havre is really going to be a tough match for them because currently Let Havre performance is more better than Lyon and even on the table Le Havre has more better position than Lyon so I wonder what will become there faith on this match.

Lyon is at least out of the relegation zone, which is a blessing, they won three in a row that nobody really expected them to do, and that's why I think it's quite obvious that we are talking about a team that would have a good chance. I think it's clear that we are talking about a team that is in the history of Ligue 1 and they should be preserved as much as possible. That doesn't mean that they should not be relegated when they deserve, we all know that would happen, but cheering them to stay on is not a bad thing, I would prefer them staying.

Clermont looks like they are already gone, so nothing much to do there, Lorient seems like they may go too, so it's all Lyon vs Toulouse to me, and I think Lyon would be more suited.
