Normally PSG has not had issues with been able to really get a good position in the Ligue 1, they have only had to struggle with the champions league a d that has forever been their biggest night mare to tackle and they usually go all in every season to make sure they are able to secure an opportunity at the Ligue 1 table top so they are most definitely not going to really stress about the Ligue 1 but bother more about the champions league

There are only 7 matches left in Ligue 1, while Paris Saint-Germain is 12 points ahead of the team below, namely Brest. I don't think PSG will be willing to give Mbappe an improved contract because is currently one of the highest-paid footballers in the history of football. The club gave the French striker the best financial package the last time he renewed his contract and will let him go if he is not willing to remain with them.  

But from all indications, the striker is not influenced by money anymore since he has even agreed to take a pay cut in Real Madrid. He wants to pursue personal glory and the club is preparing for his departure.
