I'm sure PSG wasn't expecting the kind of resistance the got today ,at some point it felt like they actually had to struggle to get the only goal they had in the match and I was wondering how was it that this team  were able to defend PSG so well that the whole match thst they couldn't even further get a second gola after the first and PSG literally played the whole game not getting another goal.

This actually isn't really looking too new to me although looks new as it's the first time it's really happening around here, how Small teams most likely wants to show that so much strength against the bigger team, in some cases it endup that the game might even end as a draw probably goal less or both teams gets a goal that will get both teams to share points equally and I think that was what the other teams wanted to just get an equalizer and get to share points with PSG but then PSG played better dominated through the game even with all the resistance.

Usually PSG don't have much issues with the Ligue 1 so games like this could be considered an easy win but then it wasn't a guarantee for victory or a guarantee to the fact that it was going to be an easy game so most definitely they were faced by what every other team would face normally in the league game but it's just that the team was actually a really small team not considered to be one they would cause PSG any problem.

0 - 2 was the final result of PSG victory over Marseille and this victory was truly surprising because in the 40th minute PSG received 1 red card and had to lose 1 defender, this was clearly problem for PSG but they were still able to win.
After only playing with 10 players, PSG were still able to create opportunities and score goals in the 53rd and 85th minutes, they were also able to maintain their lead with Marseille not having goal in return.
PSG defense is still very good and it can be seen that the midfield players are very competitive in helping the defense and attack lines, this shows that PSG still has quite good performance and quality.

Second half goals from Vitinha and Goncalo Ramos was okay for the 10 man Paris Saint Germaine to claim all three points from the game but there's another talking point in the game that I'll want to point out to and that's Kylian Mbappe's reaction when he was substituted off in the 65th minute of the game because to him, it wasn't fair for the club manager to take him out if the game when the team were leading by just one goal with ten men.
Paris Saint Germaine manager Luis Enrique in recent games especially domestic games have developed the habit of taking the French man off in games that he was  would easily expected to play full 90 minutes and if he doesn't stop to do that, Kylian Mbappe might not just be giving his best to the club again till when he leaves after the end of the current season

Sometimes I feel PSG joke over things like this simply because they know they haven't got much competition but im hoping Lyon gives them a shocker in the finals.
 Mbappe came through for them with that solitary goal but I'm imagining if he had managed to bottle that chance like he did with the penalty kick, I wondered if they would have been able to survive extra time and penalties if it got to that as I don't really them as the team to last during extra time.

I wouldn't say PSG's performance was poor. Although Rennes' performance in Ligue 1 has been poor, we have seen better performances from Rennes in Coupe de France matches in recent matches. And so it was not easy for PSG to win this match, although PSG is a strong enough team.

Rennes players tried their best to win the match. Rennes players had only 30% ball possession. Even then they managed to make 9 shots. Luis Enrique's match strategy was very good. PSG's players controlled the match, although PSG's players were did not attacking too much. At the same time they played very carefully. However this is the time Lille needs to work more harder so that they would move themselves from the fourth position which is the champions League qualification to the third position of the league, although As Monaco will try all there best to maintain the third place but with the consistency of Lille it could be possible for them to achieve, meanwhile there upcoming match it could actually be a win match for them because they are performing more better than Marseille, so if they eventually wins the match they will have a very close points with As Monaco.
